Full Serve is the most unprofessional mechanics shop. The owner Sue has threatened to push my truck into the middle of cicero ave. She is the most unproffessional and ignorant woman i have ever met. They caused more damage to my truck and kept charging me more money. I brought my truck to pep boys and they told me that the work they charged me was not actually done. I am filing a lawsuit and advise anyone to never bring your vehicle there. read more

My boyfriend took his car there for oil change, brakes, and to diagnose a noise. They got him all fixed up and ready to go same day even though we booked our appt at the last minute. It wasn't convenient to come back and get the car while they were open, and they totally worked with us when we had them wait several days before paying and getting the car. I worked for car dealerships for 7 years, even the best places do make mistakes sometimes (I could tell you about the time my dealer didn't tighten the bolts on tires and the wheels went rolling off with the car on the road), but Full Serv is the first place I've been willing to take my car after being devoted to going back to my dealer exclusively for the last 8 years. read more

My girlfriend brought her car for an engine light on. Three trips and three very expensive parts later the code 410 is still on! So we asked on the last trip if this would finally fix it and the big, angry blonde lady says "no, you could be back three more times, we dont know". We are paying these people $95 hr because they are the so called experts. Then the angry blonde started yelling rude comments from the backroom and wouldn't talk face to face. We were very patient because they came highly recommended but i wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy now. Very disappointed and out about $1200! read more

My 70 year old mother in law brought her car here for a noise - told she needed $900 of rack and pinion repairs. The parts were warrantied for 12 months and the labor for 90 days. Within 30 days the original problem persisted and now there was a leak. After inspection by an independent certified mechanic, he informed us that the work was poor and the parts were possibly bad and that we should return to have it repaired under the warranty. We returned the car and were accused of tampering with the car. After another 5 days without the car, we were told we had to pay for the same warrantied labor again. When we refused, we were told by the owner that we could pay or they would hold the car hostage. The police were called and we were instructed that the only resolution was to pay the bill and take them to small claims court. BEWARE!!!!!!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH A REPAIR SHOP THAT DOESN'T HONOR ITS OWN WARRANTIES!!!!! I wanted to provide an update. We received a check from the owner reimbursing us for the additional charges along with a request to update this review on Yelp. We received the check because she recovered it from her parts supplier. I guess we weren't lying after all and even the parts dealer acknowledged it was a bad part. I stand by my original review - we had a warranty and only after confrontations, police and recovery from their parts supplier was our warranty honored. In the meantime we had to front the labor costs again or my mother-in-law's car would have been held hostage. There are tons of reputable car repair shops in the area. I would not do business with this shop again. read more

Full Serve Auto is the business that still goes the extra mile!!! Our Food Truck broke down and we had places booked!!! Smokin BBQ KItchen has never let anyone down!! Full Serve Auto made sure that we were going to keep our track record of being reliable. They came to US to figure out the problem!!! Our starter went out! They drove 45 min to get our part early on a Saturday morning!!! and came by us and installed. Our baby truck was purring like a kitten!! and Ricardo OUR MECHANIC had the biggest smile on his face!! WE all did, Such a relief!! They were a God sent! Our Food Truck now running like it is brand new and we pulled up in front of On Tour Brewing Company and was able to have everyone experience our wonderful food. Life is a Domino effect. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! You will save yourself time, money, and aggravation. I brought my car to Fullserv a year ago for a simple tune up due to the check engine light being on and the car was misfiring. After, spending over $1000 on the tune up the car was still not running right, the light came back on, and was still misfiring. I brought my car back several times to have them diagnose it but it became apparent they had no real idea how to resolve the issue. One time, the technician came and told me that it was one of the coils he had just replaced and would cover it because it was under warranty. But, he went into the backroom and talked to Sue, the front desk manager, and just seconds later changed his story saying it was two "other" coils that needed replacement and that would be at my cost. I got upset and said how can his diagnosis change in 30 seconds and left upset after arguing with her not wanting to throw good money after bad with them. The other manager called me the next day and asked me to give them another chance. After several months, the light went back on again and the car began misfiring again. I brought the car back and they told me that, this time, the gasket was leaking oil on the spark plugs and that they would have to change the gasket for $368 and then dig in deeper. They did confirm that anything they replaced before would be still be covered under warranty. At this point I was ready to sell the car because I didn't want to keep dumping money into it. Instead, I decided to take the car to another place for a second opinion. I took it to a place they had previously recommended when, after she spent hundreds of dollars, they still could not diagnose my mother's car properly. After having spent far too much money with them and still having issues with her car they wanted to change out her fuel injectors for an additional $1,000+, without a guarantee this would solve the problem, I took their recommendation to try the other place. As it turns out, it was not the fuel injector causing the issue but the car's computer. Thank God we didn't have them replace the fuel injectors. Back to my car. I took it to the other place and it turned out that it was one of the coils FullServ replaced. The part was bad and it cost me just $107 to have to have it replaced, under warranty at FullServ. Since going to the other place, the engine light is off and the car is now running fine. I brought the bad coil back to FullServ them know it was a bad part and, of course, it became an argument with Sue. She called the other place and they confirmed the coil was bad. However, she said it was not under warranty because Full Serve did not change it out. She went on to further insult me by saying she has "plenty of business and don't need mine". I consider myself lucky that I did not spend the money for the gasket repair they incorrectly recommended/guessed. At this time, I feel obligated to let others know of my experience before they do business with Full Serve so they can avoid the expense and frustration that I and my Mother endured. As you can see by the other reviews, I am not the only one whose car they have incorrectly diagnosed. They have inexperienced technicians who just replace parts, at your cost, to try to troubleshoot the problem. If you have a code reader, like I do, and Google the codes, you would be just as qualified as they are. Please stay away from this place their workmanship is terrible and customer service is worse. read more

I was driving on I294 going 45 MPH, when my passenger tire, came off the car. Luckily I got on the shoulder of the road just in time. My tire rolled the length of a football field on the shoulder of the road leaning up against a guard rail!It It cost $200 for a tow, and despite my stress and being scared out of my wit, as my heart was rapidly pounding - the tow driver brought it back to FullSerrv Auto Care on 15436 South Cicero. They refused to repair the damage, free of charger and honor a warranty- as it was three days since I spent $750 on front end work. FullServ turned it into a extra payday for themselves ($400.00), yet fired the mechanic and refused to accept responsibility.I WOULD ENCOURAGE EVERYBODY NOT TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO FULLSERV on 154th CICERO AVE. I was a regular customer for 6 years, but not anymore!!! Would love to punch that owner right in the face, but no that is not legal, so I didn't and won't! He is a scammer, he points out future problems in your car, not to look out for you, but to make the auto shop money! Not a reliable or dependable business!!!! Full-serve is a total rip off. I brought my car in there for a road noise problem and they diagnosed it as needing all four struts replaced and two front wheel bearings for a cost of $2500. I took it to the dealer for a second opinion and all that was needed was one REAR bearing for a cost of $225. I brought my car in to have the transmission fluid changed and they were going to put in two extra quarts of fluid because they read the wrong manual and didn't even apologize for the mistake. It's a good thing I knew how much it took. Stay away from this shop. read more

Riccan is 100% gentleman. He is also concerned that his customer understands what is going on with their cars. Several of my friends have been rescued by FullServ, thus leading us to begin bringing our cars there. Everyone has nightmare stories with their cars, but I don't worry going to Riccan - the explanation is real and the price has always been reasonable. Last visit I found out they are now the sole servicers for the Mercedes dealership. That's awesome. read more

Took my car in for an oil change and to check on my brakes. Took them 2 days to do this even though it was brought in very early on day one with no call to update the status. After getting my car's oil changed, I was driving to work and had noticed a noxious/burning smell but assumed it could be coming from one of the many cars around me on the Dan Ryan. On the way home, the check oil light came on and my car struggled to make it home. I discovered almost all of the oil had leaked out because it wasn't sealed correctly and there was a huge puddle where my car was parked earlier and another was quickly forming under the car. Had to get it towed to the shop and the owner was very rude and accusatory on the phone, saying "Why were you driving the car if the oil was leaking? You can't do that." (didn't know it was leaking until the indicator light came on later) And then saying "Do you have a tow service? We can't do anything until it's in the shop and we can look at it and see what's wrong". Really, you expect me to pay to get my car towed to your shop on my dime because you guys don't know how to do a simple oil change? I am lucky my car didn't break down or engine blow out during my long commute to work. read more

wow I don't know what to say about this place besides BEWARE. I WAS a loyal customer for the past two years. Brought my car in with a power steering leak. Was told the needed to "power wash" the bottom of my car to figure out where the leak was coming from and this would take a few hours. Sure enough hours later they call and yes I have a leak and its an EASY fix they just need to order the parts......great! Last night I dropped my car off at 430 pm for my 9am appointment today. Today they never called so finally at 1230 I called and was told "oh they're just working on it-maybe another hour-we will call you. 3pm tolls around and no call-so I go there and theres my car parked and done. I go in and ask why they didn't call me and was answered rudely with "jesus we just finished it and your total is 241." I asked if they took the 10% off from my discount card and the receptionist was like "o do you have one". By the time I got home I was seething. I called to talk to Sue the owner to express my concerns and after waiting on hold for some time Rick got on the phone and said "shes just too busy to talk to you". Told him my concerns-he didn't care-told him I wouldn't be back-and he said ok and slammed the phone down". Not only will I not be back but I will be sure to spread the word about the poor customer service and the lack of management from above. So disappointed. Oh and also they charged me 40 bucks to steam clean the under carriage of my car and i spoke to 2 other mechanics who told me thats called padding the bill-shame on them! read more

took my car in for an oil change and to diagnose engine and BAS/ESP light. took them almost a month to figure out what was wrong with my car. They said the engine light was due to o2 sensor. I paid 258.00 for 02 sensor and they assured me that will take care of engine light. They said they can not diagnose BAS/ESP light and I should take it to Mercedes. Before I took my car in, they assured me that they work with Mercedes all the time so I trusted them. well 10 minutes after I drove off lot, engine light came on. took my car to another shop and they said the engine light is due to o2 sensor. Called them back and they said i have so much wrong with my car that the engine light will always come on. huh? The secretary was very rude, she hung up the phone on me. They did not even try to work something out. they just took my money and ran-so to speak. So now I'm back to square one and out of $258. They also did my oil change with regular oil instead of synthetic oil. I will be contacting BBB as well as Lisa Madigan office. This place is horrible. Stay away from them. read more

I took my car to this place originally in summer of 2015 for new brakes. The people at Full Serv replace the back brakes with no problem, They said you are going to need front brakes I said ok lets make an appointment and here where the problem begins.They replaced the front brakes and rotors and as I am driving home on the expressway car starts to vibrate at high speeds, it never happened before until they worked on the car, in fact they were the first shop to ever work on the car. I call the next morning and speak with manager, Sue she said bring it in, I took the car back in and they supposedly replaced the front brakes and rotors again under warranty.This time she says if there is anymore vibrations then the tie rods will need to be replace, I am like I never had a problem with the front end until you replaced the front brakes sure enough the car was still vibrating steering wheel shaking.I called back and they wanted to replace the tie rods. I took the car for a second opinion and was told the front rotors were warped nothing wrong with tire rods. A few months later which is today, I call them and explained I need the car fixed still vibrating and relayed what the other shop said about the warp rotors immediately there was a problem,she said bring it in, I left the car with them hopped on the train and went to work, I get a phone call saying they can't find the problem but will keep working but insisting on replacing tie rods I denied that work,finally I get phone call saying they took the rotors off and put them on a machine and notice they were a little warp but not much but they can't replace them because they replaced them already under warranty I am like wtf how can you not warranty your work, told I should upgrade to the performance rotors and brakes at 527.00 but they can't do anything to help me, I even offered to split the difference they were like nope. So you put crappy parts on my car and won't stand by your work. I picked the car up pissed and they even had the nerves to charge me for the oil change. While I am picking up the car the clerk was rude it took everything in me from not reaching over the counter and choking the sh** out of him. I would never go there again read more
