If you value your mental health, being treated with respect and seeing others treated with respect, trustworthiness, your car's health, and your money, look elsewhere. The shop owner (Howard) has made me feel completely disrespected and unvalued as a customer on numerous occasions, is abrasive and impatient over the phone and in-person, does not attempt to engage in and grow a customer-centered relationship, and ridcules my questions often, making me feel guilty for asking them in the first place. See for yourself. If you value a company/an owner that demonstrates respect towards their staff, do NOT go here. Howard has demonstrated shocklingly mean behavior towards his staff, especially the gentleman that works the front desk (who is very kind and tries his best). He has made degrading remarks to his staff in front of myself and other customers. I can't imagine what it's like working there and I feel sorry for his employees whom seem very nice and helpful. See for yourself. If you value quality parts being put into your car, do NOT go here. The parts they've installed into my car are questionable and have failed on numerous occasions, dissolving my trust and making me question Howard's integrity. If you find yourself in the situation of a part failing after getting your car serviced here, you'll likely find out quickly that you are not prioritized and are put on the backburner and made to feel guilty. See for yourself. Howard's aggregious behavior has finally made me decide to end this overall negative experience and look elsewhere. The tow alone cost over $300, and once they receive it, they told me their "discount" price. Their "discount price" cost more than the full price of the mechanic that originally diagnosed it. What a joke. They won't even buy it back to help us out. We buy multiple vehicles every year for our business, and I was really hoping we had found a good spot to continue doing business. If they can't tell that a transmission is going out on a vehicle they are selling, they can't be trusted to professionally sell or service them.

Fair enough…read more I was told that during their pre-alignment inspection they discovered that the passenger side outer tie rod end was worn and needed to be replaced in order for the alignment to be done. This makes sense, so I said ok go ahead and do it. I was then told that with the alignment and tie rod end replacement, the total cost would now be $565.04! I decided to do it because my car was already there in the shop and it needed to be done, however this price is insane for the work that was done. They charged me $98.92 for the tie rod end, which is a very large markup. They charge $239.81 PER HOUR for labor, which is completely crazy. I was charged for an hour of labor, when I know for a fact that changing out one single tie rod end should only take a decent mechanic 15-20 minutes. It is ridiculously easy. Finally, they charged me $57.83 for "RO Fees" which include recycling, environmental, shop supplies and hazardous waste disposal. This makes no sense to me because I had no fluids changed that needed disposal, and the only shop supplies they would have needed for a tie rod end and an alignment would be paper towels, maybe a dab of anti-seize, maybe a pair of nitrile gloves. Nearly $60 is straight up robbery for the job they did for me. Yes, they are friendly. Yes, I think the work they do is fine. What they charge, however, is not reasonable and I think they are taking advantage of the many people who need their car fixed and don't know a whole lot about mechanical work. This is why I try to do most of my own repairs, but some things (like alignments) a guy just can't do in his driveway.

Christian Brothers has got to have the nicest employees I have ever met at any business! I've been…read moretwice and both times I was greeted by multiple people, offered snacks and drinks while I waited, and checked on periodically. To top it off, the last time I was in, I heard one of the female employees offer to drive an older gentleman back to his house so he didn't have to sit there all day long. Seriously, the warmest folks ever. Their prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, but it is justified by their quality of work, communication, and kindness. They will inform you of any issues they identify on your car but are not at all pushy about getting the work done there. I'm not religious and was originally worried that I might feel uncomfortable coming here, but it's been nothing but a positive experience all around!
