Bob was the instructor we had and he was wonderful and help my throw improve throughout the evening. You can either keep score which is similar to bowling or just throw and have a fun time. They allow you to bring in food and drinks... Aka alcohol, to make your time there more enjoyable.

Another thing that I did not like is they we were basically kicked out after our hour I had reserved. We weren't asked if we wanted to pay more for another hour which we would've definitely done because we were having a good time.

Can't think of a better way to spend time out of the house (indoors anyway)! A friend invited me. He made reservations for us. Parking is along the street. It was Sunday evening so parking was easy to find and free. The hours on their site might need to be updated; it says they are open later than we experienced. We had reservations for throwing axes from 5 to 6 and that was the last reservation from my understanding on this Sunday evening. Caleb was our official coach; Sam was off-duty but she helped me as a newbie anyway and both were so awesome and helpful. First off, you walk inside to the interior of the former bank building and it is so incredible to see the high ceilings and pillars in place. There is a table of axes laid out (sanitized) and lanes of 2 boards side by side with bulls-eyes next to one another for you and your partner, then separated by steel mesh/wire for the next lane of 2 boards, etc. For COVID physical spacing, we were separated from others by one empty 2-lane space. Staff wore masks the whole time but we didn't have to wear masks while we were in our space to throw axes. There is a bar. I didn't pay attention what all you can order. We just ordered cans of soft drinks and we could take to our station to drink while we threw axes. It took me quite awhile to get the hang of it but with sufficient practice and coaching from Sam and Caleb, I think I finally got it (at least what I was "supposed" to do.) I even had a few land in the bulls-eye! Strutting my stuff, I am! What a wonderful re-purpose of the bank building space and upstairs is the Escape Room I'll have to try on another visit! Primarily, because of their Halloween event, they decided to decrease the allowed bag size into the park. I ubered to the location and did not want to pay for a locker, I had to throw my bag away... When we got into the park I had fun. The food was good, if overpriced. The poor weather kept the ride lines short. I was glad I had a +1 as many attractions required it. I could enjoy the opened rides many times over without waiting. The issue was that a lot of rides were closed due to the weather and because there were so few people in the park. Their Halloween event felt drastically understaffed, too. Despite the event being recommended for 13+ aged guests, many adults still let their small children stay (strollers and all). Not only was I disgusted that parents could be so negligent, but this combined with the very few roaming scare actors made me feel like I paid for Kiddie Land, not Phantom Fright Night. The park itself is fun. I loved the rides and the food, but I left early on a somewhat sour note.

After bowling we spent another hour laughing at the bar with a pizza. This place is great for your family, friend, or work gatherings. I genuinely consider this a hidden gem and I know my colleagues and I will be back. Why go to a bar for happy hour when you can do that and bowl at the same time?

This girl is just absolutely miserable and clearly an entitled brat. I would rather drive to zone 28 or a bigger place any day than patronize this local business. I loved all the decorations, which made the atmosphere so much fun! If you get a hole-in-one at the last hole, you can get a token to play the course for free next time! I surprisingly got a hole-in-one! I was able to do it even though I'm a beginner golfer, so I bet anyone has a chance of getting a hole-in-one! I saw a lot of families with children. It's definitely a great place to hang out with family and friends.

Every hole was set up so neatly, with creative layouts, multiple drops, and thoughtful details that kept it fun the entire way through. I especially loved that they had an easier course for younger kids, which made it perfect for our children, and we also noticed the moving/more challenging course, which looked like something my husband and I would love to come back and try on our own. The seating areas placed along the way made it feel relaxing and enjoyable, and there was so much to look at that the whole experience felt special. One helpful thing to know before you go: it is cash only, so make sure you come prepared. It was $25 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 6. This was a fun and unique experience priced at $40/pp. They have tons of tables where you can eat food that you order from a local business, clean bathrooms, and a parking lot located somewhat behind the building. Would recommend for a fun indoor activity for a group!
