Very upset I have to make this post, took my saxophone here about 6 years ago for repadding and a…read moregreat job was done then. Fast forward to 2022, and I'm disappointed, took the same saxophone in to get a few problems fixed and a quick once over, played this instrument almost everyday for 5 years and knew it inside and out, was billed for work that I had no idea was needed/problems that never were a problem for me. The best part is the only problem I knew was present wasn't fixed, I mean you come here expecting your instrument to be fixed. To add insult to injury, my brother needed a simple fix on his sax, it was returned broken after something was knocked around and never checked to make sure everything was working. I'm very sad I have to post this but I noticed all the reviews are older and not a proper reflection of the current quality of work.

just now New I have…read morevery little experience with jewelry stores, so I was incredibly anxious when I went to McGivern to have my engagement ring resized and to get some inherited jewelry appraised. When I walked into McGivern, I was immediately greeted and treated so kindly. Staff went the extra mile to help me and explain the timing, cost and options. My resizing and appraisals were completed in about 7 days which I thought was remarkable. My next trip in, I decided to resize a bracelet and reset a ring. Mike personally helped me and was incredibly helpful. Once my jewelry updates were complete- within the stated timeframe, by the way- I picked them up and I was absolutely floored at how beautifully they turned out. I would recommend McGivern to everyone and anyone and I plan to use them, exclusively, for any future jewelry needs.
