Hardest 10 days of my life has just been over! So I want to help others yelpers concerned whether or not to take their beloved pet to Full Pet Services. We do have a stray cat which we brought from Istanbul, Turkey to here. When found she was approximately 1.5 years old and when she was in heat, we gave her a hormone shot which helped almost a year but now she is like 3 years and whole last month she was in heat and started peeing into laundry basket, to boxes and we finally decided to spay her rather than having kittens. My husband had taken Muffin to Full Pet Services last June for the rabies shot so we took her there again. $55 per check up visit and $85 for the blood test before surgery. We scheduled for following day not to linger our worried days. First of all, 2 types of anesthesia. One they can feel what's going on like half awake, skip that, go for the other. They will ask you to leave your pet at 9 AM and pick up at 4 PM or a bit earlier when they call because they wait until the animal awakes. I don't want to sound like the picky parent but the front desk and assistant ladies might be a little sincere and try to relieve you. They ask you to sign the paper where it says " If animals dies, vet is not responsible " as if you shopping for groceries. We understand it is mandatory or whatsoever but believe me, imagining your pet dead does not help at all when asked to leave her behind and wait for a call. Thanks God, we received a call around 3, picked her up. Vet Igor told it was so good that we decided to bring her for spaying because she had a unique problem that he also never had seen, something about her uterus being connected to her some bone which means she could never had kittens so with one surgery, she got 2 problems solved. First 2 days, she was weak and still under anesthesia, did not eat or drink much. To avoid contact with stitches, had e-collar on at all times, she achieved to take it off so we had to tighten it, we literally stayed awake to make sure she doesn't jump and fall. We even put the cat tree down on the floor. Was a hard and long week, her scar is quite healed now and we took the collar off on 9th day. Stitches will go away by themselves, prefer the antibiotic shot at the clinic than the 7 day pills. They will give you 3 pills for pain and inflammation anyway for daily use. We paid about $430 on the top of $140. $570 for everything. I know it has been a long review but I needed to read such info before the operation and sure someone else will make use of it. He was perfectly health... they told me he had an ingrown nail, they decided to pull it out first (idiots) and then groom him. They gave him antibiotics to numb the pain but instead they killed him 1 week later I had to rush him to the hospital for them to tell me he had also all sorts of complications..... They have everything here. Vet clinic, grooming, boarding, pet store. Really nice receptionist, walk-ins welcome even though they are busy( at least seems to be busy) very knowledgeable and friendly doctors and very reasonably priced services. It's very convenient for me because they are open late till 11pm on the week days,so i can bring my dog after work. I went on vacation a couple of weeks ago and used their Pet Hotel for the first time and I'm glad I did. Will definitely come back for any kind of service. read more

My 4 year old shih-tzu Lola got bit by a dog while walking on emmons ave. We were really worried and nervous that there might have been an infection so we ran over the full pet service. We were taken in on the spot and Dr.Kudman did a drainage surgery to make sure she's ok. I would hate to be dramatic, but we are almost certain this veterinary clinic killed our cat and tried to cover it up. We took our three year old cat to get an enema because he was very constipated (which we have done in the past) except this time, the vet made us sign a form that made sure he wasn't liable for anything that happened to the cat afterwards. (In retrospect, we should have definitely seen this as a red flag) Immediately after leaving the vet, he was unresponsive to sounds, not moving anywhere, covered in feces and we had no idea what was wrong with him. Two days later, we take him back because now we know he was convulsing and shortly going to die. Prior to this visit my cat was playful, running around and the only thing that was wrong was that he was constipated... NOTHING ELSE. This vet took no responsibility, I personally think the vet did a dirty job and gave him an infection or that he was traumatized from the treatment, but I cannot say for sure because they denied blood work. Now they will not pick up the phone and the rings are shortened. I would love to know what actually happened to our beloved family pet. Definitely do NOT recommend this clinic ! Been traveling with a dog on heartworm treatment. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for her to get 2nd 3rd shots. They called me day before to confirm appointment. I show up and they tell me they do not do heartworm treatments. This is after I told them to call primary vet to be sure they had correct medication on hand. I should have known. Brought my fatter cat to this place, after moving and being closer than my previous vet (who was actually terrible, so, there's that, too). Overall, I thought the visit went well - the point was to simply update her shots and get a general check up, and the doctor was very nice, thorough, and his tech did really well with my normally temperamental animal. She's a heavy gal, so it was suggested that she go on a a special overweight management diet, and they gave me a bunch of free samples to try with her to see which one she likes the most. They weren't pushy on procedures or "suggested tests," like so many other vets in the area are - my cat has a history of UTIs, and the vet offered to run a preventative urinalysis on her, but when I declined, he dropped it. Overall, I will bring her back again for a check up and if there are any issues that need attention. That have pretty flexible hours, which is great, but I do wish they would take Care Credit ... but I'd forego Care Credit for a good vet, anyways. Oh, also, there's this funny posting in the office along the lines of "We do not offer personal lines of credit, and you can thank these people ..." and there's a list of people who have apparently not paid their bill. There is a new doctor that works there, his name is William Kudman and he really cares about animals. My dog got a surgery done by him and he was very caring and gullible towards my dog. Unlike other vet's that recommends surgery right away, he tried every step to avoid surgery. He was very carrying & treated my dog like it was his own. I don't make a lot of recommendations but I couldn't overlooked how good of a doctor and person he was. Every time I had a question, he would pick up the phone and give me advise to soothe my dog's uncomfortability. I really recommend this doctor if you love your pet. read more

I always read reviews and would've been put off by the 1-star reviews, except that my friend takes her animals here and she is very particular about her pets. The staff was very professional, as was Dr. Kudman. The situation was pretty routine. My cat had a urinary infection. What I didn't like is that they couldn't do the test right there. They sent the urine sample out to a lab. At another time, with another cat, I'd been to another vet in another part of town who used a stick to tell if there was infection. That's how my physician did it once with me and got immediate results. In this case, I had to come back to get the meds and parking is very difficult in that area of Avenue X If I had a sick animal, I would definitely come back due to the professionalism, parking not withstanding. read more

The only reason they're getting one star is because there is no option for 0. this place is horrible and careless. My girlfriend brought in our dog for a haircut and we got him back with cuts and scratches all over he's face and eyes. We have a shitzu which is a popular breed and people bring them for haircuts all the time. When we came back to see what happened and why he's all cut up they told us that this breed is like that and if we decided to have a dog like this, we should deal with it. Instead of an apology and trying to straighten it out we got the worst, and rudest answer possible. And instead of offering us some type of reimbursement or future, they proceeded to collect payment for this horrible service, even if they pay us to give him a haircut again, we will never let them or go there again and strongly do not recommend for anyone else to bring their dog there either. I'm including pictures of they did to my poor Lil guy he has been traumatized and seems afraid to go outside for 3 days now seems like he's not the same after, he's afraid and in pain and this is unacceptable for supposedly professionals to chop ur dog like this and be rude about never in our life we would bring our dog there again and make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else planning to go there read more

The worst service I've ever sow! I booked an appointment for grooming at 11.30 am and when I brought my dog the groomer said that there is two more dog before me, who had an appointment at 9.30am! This is ridiculous! And when I asked when my dog will ready they said at 3pm we're it sure yet!! Like seriously!!! Why you're guys make an appointment even you have no time?! Because your customers also have their schedule!!! And also to get shots for poppy they split one shot for 4 times to visit them which means I have to pay for one shot and 4 visits! Like you really think that people are stupid around? I have two dogs so I really know how many shots and how much I paid for the same breed of dog!! Even doctor at first time when I came asked me I have to leave for 30-40 min you have to waiting for me! No please! I won't! Considering I've brought my dog here for over six months to get his nails clipped every month, they have pretty bad attitude and customer service. Just because I'm not a Russian speaking customer does not mean you can treat me badly and talk about me in front of me in your language. That is very rude. My dog never bit anyone who clipped his nails. However, today a new girl came to take my dog and my dog FREAKED out. I already felt something was off about the girl. And she came out and glared at me. Then after she speaks in Russian with the receptionist and another customer there, they just all stared at me like I'm an alien. I said "what?" And the other customer turned to talk to the girl and said "this little dog bit you?" And I said "what? My dog bit you?" And she nodded and showed me her finger like a little child that just fell at the park. Then the receptionist made it seem like it was my fault. She gave me an attitude and said "next time tell us your dog bites" and I said "I've been here before and my dog never bit anyone" and I just really didn't like the looks they were giving me and the attitude. Lady that clipped my dog's nails today: you work with animals on a daily basis, you need to prepare for accidents like getting bit or scratched. It is by no means to have bad customer service and speak in Russian about me and my dog IN FRONT OF ME. Next time there's an issue with another non Russian customer, speak English. EDIT: my dog is a tiny chihuahua that doesn't even bark at all... so when he freaked out when this lady took him, it was already a bad sign. My dog might've known she's not a true animal lover. We visited this Veterinarian in an emergency to find out what was wrong with my cat after what seemed to be wrong diagnose by another Vet last week. First, they took our cat to the backroom. No other animals were in the office but after we told them my cat was a bit irritated (due to possible pain), they decided to do the check-up in the backroom. I asked if we can go and be there and the Vet said, No. I didn't like that as no other Vet's office has ever taken my cat away for minor exams. When my cat came out after the exam, his hair was all over the kennel and some chunks were on his bed. I wondered how they treated him in the back office and this made me feel very uncomfortable. Second, we were given two options; your cat might have UTI or a stone so you can either pay $35 for urine test OR get an x-ray for $135 to check for stone. BUT you cannot do both test as your cat's urine is full and both test requires urine. We decided to go with urine test first. Urine test showed blood and abnormality. We were given medicine to treat the symptoms. Afterwards, the Vet comes back to us and told us that his culture shows some evidence of a stone. She recommended that we get an x-ray now. She went on this speculation about this could possibly be but can't tell for sure, but if so this can be very dangerous, blah blah blah... But the Vet just told us in the beginning we can ONLY do 1 test this evening as they needed a full bladder. And we had to choose between doing a urine test OR x-ray. Then I mentioned something about a blood test to my husband. The Vet comes right back down and tells us, "oh, you should probably get the blood test done too, just in case, blah blah blah." We started questioning her and requested further explanation. The Vet got really upset and told us we can sign a paper saying we are refusing treatment (there was no treatment we were refusing, we were questioning additional exam that cost us $135 AND we didn't sign any papers EVER at the VETs office) and we should go somewhere else where they will charge 3 times more. The Vet then started to defend herself (I don't know why) saying she went to medical school, she knows what she is talking about and she doesn't appreciate getting yelled at. It was late and we were tired and decided to just leave without further arguing. Bottom line, the Vet will be pushy to get you to get bunch of tests. I mean really pushy. And you will wonder how your pet was treated behind doors. read more

We took our family cat to this place for a check up. She was totally fine, hoping around and being her strange cat self. Our only concern was that she threw up a few times more often than usual over the last few months. When we brought her in, the vet took a look at her and said that she seemed totally healthy, nothing wrong with her. Then he and his assistant told us that they needed to take our cat to another room for blood and urine samples. About 10 minutes later they brought her out in her carrying case. Right away I could tell that she was very distressed. Her tongue was hanging out of her mouth and she was panting heavily making deep rumbling groans. We noticed frothy saliva dripping from her mouth and asked the doctor if she was OK. He said it's perfectly normal, that we should take her home and give her some space. He jokingly swatted at the carrier case saying "Oh she's angry, she's out for blood!" When we got home and let her out she crawled low to the floor and collapsed still panting heavily, frothy white liquid dripping from her open mouth. The next day her condition worsened as we waited for the results of the tests, she stopped panting but instead became docile and disinterested in anything around her, she was like a ghost. She didn't eat or drink, she just lay in the bathtub, totally lethargic. On the third day we found her emaciated and barely responding to us so we took her to the emergency room. There the vet told us that she was very dehydrated and gravely ill, they believed her to be diabetic and had suspected she had a hyper thyroid condition. They put her on an IV and said that basically they could try to revive her but most likely she will need insulin shots twice a day and pills for her thyroid because she seemed very ill. They gave us an estimate, close to $5000 in hospital bills. We had to make a hard choice at that point, she was barely alive and her quality of life would never be the same... How could this happen? Three days ago she was a happy and healthy cat with glossy fur and a spring in her step and now she is on the brink of death? We believe that it all started with our grave mistake of taking her to Full Pet Services. We should have known from the first minute that it was a mistake. It smelled like a dirty kennel, and the animals there did not seem happy. The vet was cold and his tone was sarcastic, he wasn't gentle with our sweet girl at all. And when she came back from that back room she was hurt. We should have never let them take her because we never got to see our cat again. Three days later she was gone. I tried this place twice because I wanted my senior groomed somewhere near a vet incase something happened with her health. Both times the staff was very rude to be and tried to increase the services by claiming my dog was matted. I brush my dog everyday. She's never matted. Then they told me she was mean and bit them. My dog, at the time was 12, never had any issues. I couldn't believe it. I took her elsewhere and was told she's a sweetheart, the normal report I get. This place must have been rough with her. I mean the reviews here kind of say it all. It's a bad place all around. Dog always comes back bleeding and traumatized from the groomers. We found out you have to tip them before hand just so they don't hurt your dog. Not just a normal tip either they expect a big tip that your suppose to slide into their hand. They try to charge you for everything they can, even when it's not necessary again so they can make more money. My cat got some testing done we were all concerned we were suppose to get results back in a week, we waited they never called. When we finally called they yelled at us for being impatient and said they'll call us. They never did. My sister ended up calling again and they said the vet went on a vacation and we had to wait 11 additional day before getting results. We kept going back cuz there's no other place nearby but it's not worth it. Make a further trip, at this place your basically just paying them to not to kill your pets. I was going to give them a 2nd chance because their grooming prices are competitive. However, I am giving them one star because of their horrible receptionist who has a terrible attitude. This is a disgusting place with doctors who care only about money and do not care about your pet's health at all. I would not leave an Ant here, do not come here if you actually care about your pet. All they care about is making money off of your lack of knowledge, they ignore your pet's problems and because of that my cat is dead. I came here for my recently pregnant cat who had become sick. First when I arrived I explained the situation to the doctor clearly, he completely ignored what I said and he tried to sell me every procedure that the place had to offer with no reason for it. I told him that the procedures weren't necessary and I told him that he should just do a check up and fever check, these did not bring forth any answers. Next after trying to get me to allow and pay for a blood test and F.I.V test he recommended calcium supplements and said that the pregnancy may have left my cat weak although I explained to the so called "Doctor" that a day after she gave birth my cat seemed fine; so of course I had to take the supplements, leave, and hope for the best. Not only did my cat vomit the supplements, she also grew weaker and weaker. We brought my cat to the vet again and they didn't even have the same doctor, so they gave a new doctor who exactly like the old one just cared about money, he thought I was an idiot and again tried to sell me every procedure that he could give without a reason, I asked him why and he couldn't explain why, he just wanted the money. So I told him (after he repeated the expensive unnecessary check up and fever test which he again charged me for) to do an X-Ray because everything else was inconclusive. Instead of that, he wanted to do the unnecessary, expensive, and over priced blood test which he forced upon me due to my lack of knowledge, he didn't allow the X-Ray and gave a blood test. The results were completely inconclusive and he still charged me anyway. FINALLY, the "doctor" gave my cat an I.V, and was going to give an X-Ray and also an F.I.V. I left my cat there and was called back a few hours later. I went back, and my cat was half dead. We were told that the X-Ray which they finally did showed that from her pregnancy there was a membrane that was stuck inside her organ systems and that it rotted and infected her whole body. The doctor without care said that if we took her to a hospital at that exact moment and gave her a $4000-$5000 operation that she would have a 20% chance to live. My son saw his cat and burst in to tears and went in the car from the news of the cat's certain death. They probably had known about this problem from the start and had elongated our visits so that they could juice us out of our money. They probably didn't expect her condition to become so severe so quickly. The only reason they called us was to get the cat out of the place before she died on their hands, they knew that the X-Ray would give conclusive results so they avoided that option when we wanted it, before it was too late. They knew our cat would die and at the end of it all, the shitbags went ahead and made me pay for the expensive things they claim to have done after they knew my cat would die. Our cat died a couple hours later and my son was completely heartbroken and in tears. The death of our cat was the fault of these horrible "Veterinarians" who do not care about animals, only money. My dog had a litter of five puppies and were delivered prematurely on Feb 8th the next day feb 9th I lost all five puppies it was devastating for me and my family I fell into deep depression for four days and my four year old daughter always asked for the puppies. We first took my cat here when he was just a baby. The doctors are very pleasant and friendly with the animals. My cat never had any major problems and we keep coming back for check ups. I usually come in the evenings and the staff and doctors are great. The only con is the price, its not the cheapest place. Usually to get a shot, 'general checkup' is required and that you pay for. When I got there, they wouldn't take my 4 lbs Yorkie because I didn't have proof. When they called my doctor he said one shot was missing and they said they will not take my dog. I completely understand that its their rules and everyone should follow them BUT I wouldn't have wasted my time driving there, waiting there and going back with disappointment if they would be more professional and mentioned all this on the phone when I was making an appointment. Soooo...after going to full pet services for almost 3 years today was my last visit. I took my Yorkie/Shih Tzu for a grooming. Before I left, the girl in the front desk said to me my dog requires a bordatella shot which was $30.00. My daughter went to pick her up and received a call from my daughter stating it was $90.00 in total. I have never paid so much and i asked for a break down in charges. She told me the the grooming was $45.00, bordatella shot $35.00 and flea bath $10.00. So when I asked to speak with her and mentioned the price for the shot, I told her I was told $30.00. She had the NERVE to tell me "it's only a $5.00 difference" I don't care if it was a $.50 difference, when you tell your customer's one price and charge another, that's a problem....I told her I'm sure if you were over charged she wouldn't like it and she agreed! THEN I asked her if the groomer gave her a flea bath, she had no idea what a flea bath was! I actually had to spell out the word FLEA! That's like asking a nurse if my child received a vaccination and asked "whats a vaccination? "You work in a Vet Office and not know what a flea is!? Wow...they really lowered there standards in there employee selection and yet people want $15.00 minimum wage? Before i left i spoke to the groomer myself and told her not to shave him, only cut his hair short but not shaved and guess what? HE WAS SHAVED!Anyway I paid what I needed to pay and I will never step foot in that place again. read more

For years I boarded my Puli with my groomers who are reliable, caring professionals. They recently stopped boarding and in a pinch recommended FULL PET SERVICES where they let my long haired sheepdog get wet and never dried him off. (They made sure to report that he "got wet" when I returned from my trip so I realized no one had taken the time to dry his long corded coat) Once home, the dog developed respiratory distress and probable pneumonia and died before I could rush him to his vet. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE!!! Especially for more than a few hours. BOARD YOUR PET IN THIS PLACE ONLY IF YOU'RE TIRED OF IT AND WANT TO KLL IT AND ARE PREPARED FOR THE ANGUISH AND GRIEF LOOSINGYOUR BELOVED PET WILL MEAN! THE PEOPLE CARING FOR THE ANIMALS DON'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH, SO EVEN THE SIMPLEST INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT UNDERSTOOD. My dog was attacked and this is the 1st place i went to, they took amazing care of him and the doctor was incredible. the girl at the front desk was calm and patient in my panic and in the end they made sure my dog wasn't in any pain or discomfort. They take thorough care of him for all his needs now. I order all his vitamins and he gets all his shots and check ups here. I recommend this place to everyone Dr. William is the best. they are open late so its not a problem if something happens late. We brought our cat in for a hair cut for the first time. At home we noticed that his nails were cut to the quick and even showed dried blood. They were very short. We noticed that our cat was very quiet and looked like he was in pain. At first we thought it was just the hair cut, but we saw that the nails were cut so far that it hurt his nerves. We didn't ask for grooming, but they decided that it was more convenient for them to butcher off our cat's nails, so he can't scratch them rather than holding him in place during the hair cut. They also cut away the long hair between his toes, which were very beautiful. The nails are very sensitive and references say that if the cat's nails are light colored you can actually see the dark blood vessel running through it and "cutting this (called cutting to the quick) causes copious bleeding and pain." (Cats, Cat Breeds and Cat Care by Alan Edwards) The grooming staff needs to inform the owner of the pet, what it is exactly that they do to the pet and how much mutilation and suffering it causes the pet. From now on we will be cutting our cat's hair and never bringing him to these or other grooming 'specialists'. read more

This so called vet is a killer. We took our cat there for an enema due to constipation issues our cat was having, which he performed before. This time, the vet claims that the enema didn't work and needed a surgical procedure, which includes sedation. So he asks to sign a release form (red flag #1). His assistant called to pick up our cat 15 min before closing when the vet was already gone (red flag #2). All of the sudden they barely take any money (red flag #3). For 2 straight days cat wouldn't eat, drink or respond to any activities. On the third day, in the morning when called the office, vet said they needed to blood work. By 5pm that day our cat passed away. When we brought him to the office, they simply said we should've done blood work. This was a 3 year old cat that was perfectly healthy and playful. Shame on the vet and his malpractice. Stay away from this place if you love your pet. They will milk you for your money and do any procedures to rack up the bill, even if it kills your pet. read more

I love Dr Igor and his team. You can truly see how much love and concern they have for animals. The front desk person does not render the care and treatment to your pet, the doctor and his staff do. I have had nothing but good experiences at this vet and would highly recommend, and have, to others in search of a good and caring professional. I also have my dogs groomed at this facility and was very satisfied with the results. The added plus is that the grooming was significantly less money than Petco! I have no complaints. read more
