But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

There were a few design mistakes, in some instances felt like a lack of oversight and the normal delays in getting the materials delivered. In the middle of the kitchen project we decided to have them do an update on our bathroom - vanity, mirror, countertop. There were set backs, but these guys were honest about it along the entire process and fixed whatever mistakes ( that are inevitable in construction) when I brought it up to them. We are beyond happy with the outcome and would hire them again without hesitation.

The contractors/cowboys they used were called Brothers Fix. I couldn't find them on yelp, so I am using the company that advised me to use them. My job required 2 TVs mounted, to be dismounted and remounted in our new apartment. They said they could do it in the same day, so I was happy and expected it to be a simple job after the other. The two men were late to begin with. Thats already annoying when you are moving apartments and are paying by the hour. After they dismounted the TVs they told me they had to drop off some other furniture to another (annoyed) client who was waiting for their services. So I was waiting in my new apartment having booked a whole day off from work while they were busy doing another job. When they finally came to new apartment, I asked them to mount the TV and put the wires behind the wall. Was advised by NYC set up that this was easy. So went down that road and ended up with 2 holes in the wall and no wire behind it as the cowboys hadn't checked for any wiring and just assumed it was an easy job. The whole reason I wanted this was to avoid any danger for my 1 year old son, which was obviously not going to work as the wire was loosely hanging on the outside. The two contractors ran out of the place and said it was their fault on a private message to me and that I would get a call from management. This never came so I called up and arranged a fitting for second time. The person on the other end said I advised the cowboy to build the hole next to the plug under the TV - straight up lie (I have the text to prove it). So after a few days (massive lack of urgency despite their f0ck up) they scheduled me in for their mistakes to be fixed. The guy didn't use the hole tool (size blade) previously used and left by said cowboy so ended up guessing the size of the whole and carving it up till the protector went in. He did a good fix it job, but when you look at the price I paid, you'd expect a refund or compensation. He didn't use the wire compartment I was advised to buy by NYC set up to purchase, so that was some more money down the drain - he just filled in one hole and made another one lower down to accommodate my initial request. It was a joke final end result. I still had wires appearing from under the TV and from the second hole to the plug. It was just useless. I've since had to move my book shelf in front of these two holes to make sure my son can't access or get to the wires by the plug. I am 100% going to use the yelp reviews in future and hope you do too. Like I said NYC set-up are ok to a degree. They say all the right things and give you a quote. But if they advise to use Brothers fix - run a mile. The issue with NYC set-up is they don't communicate with companies they work with. So I get told to purchase behind the wall protectors, a wire compartment tidy up set, an extension cord based on the distance from TV to nearest plug - but when the contractors come in. They didn't do preparation and in most cases couldn't use what I had bought. Please check the reviews and don't make the same mistake I did. Chris

I love this place. My kids too. What about TV, I think it is not bad that children have opportunity to watch their holliday shows or learning films in the morning. It is extra knowledge for them in a very pleasant form. This Day Care gives our children great education. Kindergarten (in a very strong school) was easy for my son after he graduated from A to Z Pre-K. The teachers in this Day Care are very professional. The facility is extremely clean.
