He replaced the battery at a cost of approximately $300. The very next day, the gate stopped working again. He came the next day and conveniently claimed that the main control board had been damaged by a power surge and told me it needed to be replaced at an additional cost of about $750. To make matters worse, he failed to arrive at the the time I was given. As a result, he left without programming the remote control and the keypad. Later, I was told that, for legal reasons, he was not authorized to perform the programming. At no point before the appointment was I informed of this restriction. Had I been told in advance, I would have made sure someone was present. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I have paid significant amounts of money, and the communication and customer service have been unacceptable.

A final walkthrough has not been performed. When they finished construction, one of the partners went through our neighbor's yard to jump the fence and find me in the backyard. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the workmanship and the follow-up after the installation. There are multiple nails and screws visibly protruding from the fence, which I brought to the contractor's attention. I also have concerns about the overall construction and finishing of the fence. I contacted the contractor several times about these issues, and they said they would come out to make the necessary repairs, but they never did. I understand that wood fencing can have some natural variation, but I expected the installation to be properly finished and the contractor to stand behind their work when concerns were raised. Based on my experience, I would recommend carefully inspecting the completed work and confirming how the contractor handles warranty or repair issues before hiring them.

I reached out for a quote for roof and wall repairs on Thursday night. Jose came by Friday…read moreafternoon and provided a quote same day. He said he can start the roof repairs that day and come back for the indoor wall repairs on Monday. This was perfect since it was supposed to rain later that night and the next day. He was able to get workers there quickly, and they replaced faulty/missing external vents that allowed water to drain in my house leading to wall damage. He provided before and after pictures as well as a birds-eye view pictures of the roof which was nice to have. The repairs came with 2 year warranties. On Monday, he had a worker come by and begin repairing the drywall. They repaired the damaged wall, bought paint to match the wall, texturized it, sanded, and added two coats of paint, and dried everything all in the same day. As a plus, they let me keep the remaining paint. Some nice touches that were appreciative, they always wore shoe covers and never wore shoes inside. They were cognizant of cleaning up any mess that was created from the work being performed. Even going as far as cleaning the attic to clean up anything that dropped during the roof repairs. They also vacuumed through the entire path that they walked as they left. One final thing that was surprising, as Jose left, he noticed our gate didn't completely close. He let me know he could fix it, 5 minutes later, it works again. The attention to detail from Jose and his team were great.
