Amazing to see the evolution of the camera through the years. We were greeted by Pete who was really friendly. He took a look at our camera and knew right away it was a 20 year old plus camera. He said it was a really good camera back in the day. The camera needed a new lens and frankly he said it would cost more than if we bought a new one. We appreciated his honesty and advise even though we decided it wasn't worth repairing it. They do have great service and recommend as they are straight forward and honest.

One thing about me: I don't know anything about cameras or what it takes to repair them, but Pete not only fixed it expeditiously but also explained what was wrong with my camera and how to take care of it. I went to the clinic for my Canon G7x Mark II after my friend accidentally dropped it, causing the lens to shift awkwardly inside. Before going to the camera clinic, I had visited 3 other repair shops to see if they could fix it, but all of them were giving me insane prices before even finding out what was wrong with it. Once I got to Pete, he looked into the problem first (which took about 3 days to get back to me), then called me to tell me what was wrong and the estimated repair price ~$400-500. The repair took about 4 days. At the end of the service, he taught me how to better care for my camera and even gave me a case for it out of the kindness of his heart!
