It is in a strip mall area with several other businesses. We stopped in to burn a little time before our movie started down the street. This was my first time at this location. As with any thrift store, I first gravitate to the book and media section. I do one day dream of a large library in my home with shelves of books complete with moving ladders to reach the top shelves. So thrifting allows me to shop local and grab deals on books for much lower prices than purchasing new. My favorite find on this day was a purple leather bound book titled - Bible Promises of Comfort and Encouragement which is a topically organized collection of scriptures that is designed to help you receive the assurance and inspiration found in the promises of God's Word. A perfect find for this season of my life!

They don't do any extra discounts from what it seems like. It is smaller but I got a lot of things I was looking for here and it's still very low price compared to another thrift store I went to. Every thrift store is carry the same categories but different stuff. So it's nice to check them all out.

I used to love coming to Sally's to find bargains whether it was clothes or household goods. But I…read moream disappointed to see that they keep changing their policies to make it more restrictive. They used to have a reward card that gave you a discount after 10 punches, they took that away about a year ago. They have not reopened their dressing rooms since they reopened after the covid scarce. I get why they were closed initially, but there's no reason to have them closed now. I was there today and their newest policy is they have no exchanges or returns at all. So you can't try clothes on, but you also can't return it if it doesn't fit. That's just a no go for me. I feel like this has to hurt their business. As an organization whose goal is to provide funding for others and to also sell things at a discounted rate it feels like they're making huge mistakes in their policies.

My mother will buy nice evening dresses from here for some special occasions, especially if she needs something that has a specific dress requirement. My mother likes that some of the fashion is more current and not so outdated. We even managed to find a dress for my niece when she came in town for a weekend. She didn't have anything to wear for an afternoon tea party and we were able to find some thing for her at a reasonable price. My mom prefers to go to this resale shop as opposed to other shops, since they have nicer and more fashionable items than most resale shops. It seems that they're more selective about the clothing that goes to this location as opposed to others. Given that my mother has several items of clothing from her wardrobe from here, I can appreciate that they do take more care about what they put on the floor here. Sensible styling seems to be the focus. My mother is a happy customer.

They were having a great sale so I was able to get 3 items which would have retailed around $65 for less than $10. Service was quick and friendly. There was one person cashing out customers and I saw a couple women pricing items over on the side. Street parking or in the small lot behind the building. For context I've been going here since I was a baby, now I'm currently a adult as we speak. When I was a child the staff there use to be extremely kind and greeted people, for clients such as what I and my parents fell under we were able to gain stuff to help us immensely due to low wages. Such as every month you can come in get 3 tops, 3 bottoms, a jacket or winter coat, a blanket/sheets every 6 months, socks, underwear, bra, shoes every 3 months. The staff there would even point out stuff to people there whenever they would have good items such as clothing or furniture, Because the clothes closet was intented for people not making enough money to get clothes on their back, and necessities. Not to mention everything they get is **donated** not sold to them it's given. They didn't have it open to the public originally due to it was connected to neighborhood house, however slowly they started to implement cost if clients wanted extra clothing however at highest something would cost was $5 at most and that's if it was furniture, and slowly was open to the public after years. But ever since they got new management they have become a former shell of what the use to be, now they're using their donations given to them to make a quick buck and it disgusts me. Clients now can only go 6 months out of the year when 2 years prior they could go every month because it was intended for families who make less money. You can only get a winter jacket and light jacket once every 2 years (so if you have growing children good luck keeping them warm) and same thing for bedding. Next they now have become full on money goblins, everything they have is given/donated to them and they are taking those donations and selling them for ridiculously high prices raging as high as $100. In fact they are even putting aside items for resellers to buy off them before anyone else can get to them which I overheard the visit I had today. Furthermore they now have implemented tables/racks that clients cannot even get items off them for free like this was intended for selling purses as high as 20-60 dollars. And due to them now trying to make a quick buck their racks are over filled to the brim with clothes to the point you can hardly move the clothing to see what's there in the racks at times, especially the coats it's absolutely ridiculous. And last their staff is extremely disrespectful. Everytime I try to great them I'm always met with a scoff or annoyed sigh, and they nit pick the clothing like it's coming out their own wallet. Overall I'm disgusted at the Neighborhood houseclothes closet it's a former shell of what it use to be and is now a money grab for resellers or outrageous prices. If you want to donate high valuable stuff to reach a family in need, don't do so here I'd suggest Facebook market place and putting it up for free for or gods helping hand if you want your donations to hit a family in need because they'll use your items here for a quick buck, and very limited for families who actually need it.

Very glad we did! They're decorated for the holidays and had a large amount of holiday-themed housewares and all manner of fun kitsch, and we found a wreath (with mini-lights and music) that we had to have.
