Once the site of the Lafayette Building, this space now pulses with life--lavender hedges, pansies nestled beside asparagus, and pollinator-friendly blooms that attract bees and butterflies. There's something quietly joyful about watching green things grow here, especially against the backdrop of Detroit's Art Deco skyline. Took lovely donation book box during hours posted on website. Heavy box on a 85 degree day. Door…read moreclosed, oh no! But guy inside opened door, yay! But NO. He would not allow the books inside. Huh??? There was a metal box in a breezeway that said donations. Ok so I placed books underneath so someone with some ambition could sort in the morning. Nope, guy comes out and says I am littering. Took books to Goodwill. Don't know what was up with this apparently lazy man. Won't donate again despite being a generous patron over the years.

Sage Lenier and 3 high school.seniors were well received by the staff of TPL for our second annual VIP Riverside Chat where sponsors were able to network and be present after sponsoring the NEOYS. TPL handled the setup, music, and refreshments. They also have a spectacular view of the Cuyahoga River. We cannot thank the staff enough for their unwavering support of an event that lifts up our future leaders TODAY! Highly recommend working with this organization!!
