As a warning, pending what time you go, parking is very hard to find. Both parking structure and street. Everyone is hawking for parking, meaning everyone is aggressive. Good luck on that part. This is one of the main inconvenience at this location. I entered the gym and I was greeted. Kudos to the front desk for doing so. It really sets the vibe and energy. Went to restroom and it was somewhat clean. Entered the bathroom to find out there was a clogged pipe and urine was all over the floor. 10 minutes later, it was announced on the loud speaker that the bathroom was closed! Gym equipment at this time was somewhat maintained. Loose weights were scattered in various places. The mats were dirty. Overall, this gym does its job. You have the cardio side, free weights side, mechanical side and basketball court. Also, this is one of the gyms that still has punching bags you can use and utilize for boxing and mama. This gym can use some work on their equipment cleaning. Restock, clean, mop floors and vacuum. I advise they should have a full time cleaner walking around the clock for maintenance. Good to go. Crowded but doable to get a good workout.

He said he had 2 back to back clients where he was going to use the squat rack and I couldn't use it. He told me that the Equinox VP says he doesn't have to let anyone work in with him. Rico proceeded to hog the platform squat rack for over an hour even though he was done using it with his 1st client so I couldn't squat on it. I once mentioned the eucalyptus towels and asked if they could be kept stocked, and ever since then he has been ON IT. Every fridge stays filled, every time. That kind of follow-through really shows care and attention to members. Jasala is a pleasure every single time I walk in. She greets you with a genuine smile and amazing energy, and that honestly matters so much, especially at a gym. Being welcomed warmly sets the tone for the entire workout, and she does that effortlessly. And Taylor... always smiling, always good vibes, immaculate energy. You can tell he enjoys being there, and that energy spreads. I always joke that these three are my favorite workers at Iconix, but it's not really a joke. During class on December 9,2025 from 5-6PM, the space was small, so I wasn't able to follow the exact rotation and adjusted myself, which I believed was fine since the instructor didn't correct me. Another member gave me unsolicited directions even though she wasn't the instructor. At the end of class, she became passive-aggressive and asked the instructor to explain the rotation. Afterward, she stared me down aggressively. Then she continued to call out another woman in our class for doing squats in the inside of the circle. To which the instructor said it was completely fine. Afterwards I told her not to stare me down and that she's not the instructor to be delegating anyone in class. Despite me setting these boundaries, she pressed her body against me, yelling at me and trying to threaten/intimidate me. She began yelling religious statements, including things like "strike you down." I did not engage physically and was only protecting my personal space. The instructor did not intervene at the time, which made the situation feel even more unsafe. I hope the gym can address member behavior and ensure that everyone feels safe and respected during class. Otherwise, the workouts and instructors are great.

On my first visit I was greeted at the counter and directed to the studio. The studio is relaxing and comfortable, you hear some of the gym noise but it is not distracting. Sasha is very good at knowing how far to push you to get the most out of your session, her work is very therapeutic, after one visit my shoulder felt much better, I felt additional improvement after additional session. I didn't expect 100% improvement immediately but my shoulder feels much better, and after almost 10 years of discomfort I can't recommend Sasha enough. If you are in the gym stop in and schedule an appointment. Gym staff is friendly and helpful, they have a lot of equipment and space, and an assisted stretching studio on site for your pre or post workout stretch.

While I ran indoors on a treadmill, Zach opted for the pre-sunrise, cold weather outdoor run. We met up again at the free weight station. There was a lot of room and time for me to swing the 30lb kettlebell, do my pull-ups and dead-hangs without waiting and plenty of yoga mats to use for stretching and core exercises. If we had more time, the sauna would've been nice too, but I had some difficulties with the locker and had to wait for a few minutes for a front desk attendant to assist me.

I'd struggled to stay consistent at larger, corporate gyms, but Code 3 completely changed that for me. The group workouts, awesome coaches, and attention to proper form and personal goals make every class enjoyable and effective. I genuinely look forward to going. The energy from the other members is always great, and I get an amazing workout every time and I've noticed a difference after a year of going.
