A hot pot gem!! I say this coming to visit from Irvine. Pretty much empty save for a group of 6 and a pair across the room, no wait time was no issue just past lunch on sunday. I sat down with my friend expecting what Im used to - I tell her we have to get a tom yum soup base and a beef broth base. They hand us the menu and... yep, beef broth, but no tom yum! I made a remark about it being a bummer it wasnt there, and was about to order the mushroom instead. But this very kind waiter overheard and very excitedly told us he'd be able to do tom yum!! For that - 12 stars. It was delicious. The beef bone broth was also stellar, i even grabbed a few spoonfuls just to drink straight up! Service is split between a waiter and a robo-water, which was interesting. You order your broth, then you can order through the phone app all you want for the table. Dont worry, you can keep ordering as you eat! So dont order it all rightaway. Youll run outta table space, hehe! Theres a small sauce bar and fruit bar and a cooler with drinks. Theres was also mini ice cream but by god we were STUFFED at the end and didnt get a shot at trying them. We ordered lamb, crab sticks, bok choy, enoki, broccoli, more bok choy, some rice, crab sticks, kimchi, more bok choy... you get it. One of the better hot pot places I have been to. All you can eat for 2 hours for a set price. They have much more food options then most hot pot places. Especially seafood and less common items ( duck blood , bamboo etc). You use your phone and click on the QR code to order the items you want and a robot comes out and brings them to you. Their broth is also much more varied then most and you can experience up to 4 broth at a time. The broths were superb and you could really tell the different flavor profiles. The only complaint was the edamame- it didnt seem fresh and was pretty fibrous- though I suspect the issue was more with the supplier then the resturaunt - hence 5 stars. A hot pot all-you-can-eat buffet. They have QR codes by the tables so we can easily order our food online, which is very convenient when we have a lot to order and a lot of people. They have a good amount of broth options to choose from, ranging from no-spice to spicy. I like how we can split into two or three different broth so we have a variety to try. They have everything we would need in the next room, with utensils, plates, sauce, fruits, drinks. I like how we can just go grab it ourselves and not have to wait on a waiter for plates or utensils. The waiter was pretty attentive, clearing out the empty plates quickly so we can make more room. The food comes out pretty quick, with a little robot bringing everything to us. Overall, I would definitely go here again if I go back to Madison. The food was great, especially the bulgogi beef and cried pork. read more

All the vegetables are fresh from global market next door and can definitely tell the difference. Meat comes frozen but still good - especially the New Zealand lamb shoulder. What stood out for AYCE hotpot were the included soft drinks (not common for ayce) - particular the plum drink thing that comes in a vase in the refrigerator. Very clean and organized hot pot restaurant! We stopped in on a Monday afternoon around 2PM, and caught the $27.50 lunch deal. The server and robot waiter were super quick every time we placed an order for more meat and veggies. The sauce bar wasn't as big as some other ones I've seen, but it did the job! Soft drinks are included in the price, and you can choose water, soda, or juice from a self-serve fridge near the front. I wasn't a huge fan of the homemade noodles, and opted for the egg noodles after a while, but the mushroom broth was MOUTHWATERING. I wish the restaurant offered mochi instead of single serving vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry cups, but it was nice to have a cold dessert option. I know I mentioned a couple of personal preferences, but the overall experience was 5/5 , and we're now loyal customers! I can't wait to go back and try the lamb and also the beef bulgogi. read more

My kids took me here for my birthday and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was varied and fresh and they had plenty of options for the vegetarian among us. For we omnivores, there were so many different kinds of meats, vegetables, and noodles. We love the sauce bar and the choices were stellar. They had everything I could have wanted. I have been here three times now and will be back at least three more times!! This place is sooo yummy. One of my favorite korean foods to eat is bulgogi. I have been missing eating my grandma's homemade korean food as she is from Seoul and this almost* fully scratches the itch. With your meal you get unlimited access to soda cans, water bottles, a sauce station, and ice cream! There is even a cute little robot that comes and brings you your food. One of the best things about hotpot is that it's pretty foolproof since you cook it yourself. The meats and vegetables were fresh and delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I was in the area for the weekend and happened to stop by this place. An AYCE hot pot for 34.99! Not to bad. It was a little busy when we arrived, but didn't have to wait too long for a table. The waitress seated us and gave us a menu and was told to order by scanning the QR code. It wasn't too bad picking the items we wanted, but we didn't know for the soup base we had to order through them since they didn't mentioned anything. The items you ordered were delivered by a robot which was kinda cute. Everything came so fast but portions were a little small which was fine. So we had to order a few more items. Which we had to wait a little longer for some reason, but it turns out they never got our order so we let the waitress know which she said it was probably their system. Other than that, they had a sauce bar which you can make your own sauce for the meat. Drinks were in cans which you had to get in the fridge. Overall, it wasn't bad of an experience. Our first time to any hot pot restaurant and we were a bit overwhelmed. The server gave us minimal instructions so we were not sure what to do. We picked our ingredients with uncertainty but it worked. The food turned out OK. We will probably not be visiting again unless someone with more experience is with us. An interesting restaurant. The concept is great... All-you-can-eat hot pot, robot server, per food on your cell phone... But the actual procedures are confusing.... And we are tech-savvy. Most of all, what's not initially clear is that each order of meat, seafood, etc., is for one person, and it's pretty skimpy, so if there are 2 people in your party, then you always want to order 2, or even 3, of a dish. Also, there's lots of beef choices .. Which is fine, if you eat beef. There's very little pork and no fish whatsoever, just shrimp. ...but... What we had was good, I just wish we had a better assortment of the things we enjoy. ...and... The mushroom broth was superb and the presentation of everything was aesthetically pleasing. Madison is finally in it's hot pot renaissance! Fuki is the newest spot in town and the first spot with a little robot waiter! It's all you can eat and you can order off a QR code with the software allowing the entire table to order off their own devices. How savy! Despite the robot waiter, the humanoids are also extremely attentive and were constantly checking in and refilling our pot. The selection was good but I was surprised not to see some items like dumplings, enoki, and more veggie options. Highlights was drinks as included in the price, 2 hours unlimited buffet, and how quick and efficient the staff is. They're kind and make sure your good. They also have a neat robot waiter. We were waiting for months for Fuki to open! Everytime we went to Global Market we would peek over to see if their open. They are now! Classic AYCE hotpot. The sauces, the broths, the protein/veggie options are satisfying. Place was clean and the staff was super nice! The food is super good, I highly recommend the beef to cook and the broth is the tomato and Szechuan, super good also there is free ice cream (like the little cups) and drinks. The price for adults and kids is very reasonable to deal with. The employees are super kind and friendly and there is a waiter-robot that brings your meat to you.
