Mushroom broth and beef bone broth
    Gabby N.

Very clean and organized hot pot restaurant! We stopped in on a Monday afternoon around 2PM, and caught the $27.50 lunch deal. The server and robot waiter were super quick every time we placed an order for more meat and veggies. The sauce bar wasn't as big as some other ones I've seen, but it did the job! Soft drinks are included in the price, and you can choose water, soda, or juice from a self-serve fridge near the front. I wasn't a huge fan of the homemade noodles, and opted for the egg noodles after a while, but the mushroom broth was MOUTHWATERING. I wish the restaurant offered mochi instead of single serving vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry cups, but it was nice to have a cold dessert option. I know I mentioned a couple of personal preferences, but the overall experience was 5/5 , and we're now loyal customers! I can't wait to go back and try the lamb and also the beef bulgogi.

I have been here three times now and will be back at least three more times!! This place is sooo yummy. One of my favorite korean foods to eat is bulgogi. I have been missing eating my grandma's homemade korean food as she is from Seoul and this almost* fully scratches the itch. With your meal you get unlimited access to soda cans, water bottles, a sauce station, and ice cream! There is even a cute little robot that comes and brings you your food. Overall, it is a pretty self-serve set up (like a typical all you can eat place). I also got some soju on the side, how could I not?!

As a hotpot enthusiast, l've been exploring different spots in Madison, and my latest stop was @fukihotpotin. I was impressed by the convenient location and ample parking available. One of the best things about hotpot is that it's pretty foolproof since you cook it yourself. The meats and vegetables were fresh and delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. However, my experience was slightly dampened by the need to order online, especially considering that many items were out of stock, including staples like corn that I usually love adding to my broth. Will this be my first choice when I want hotpot no but overall it was an ok experience.

I was in the area for the weekend and happened to stop by this place. An AYCE hot pot for 34.99! Not to bad. It was a little busy when we arrived, but didn't have to wait too long for a table. The waitress seated us and gave us a menu and was told to order by scanning the QR code. It wasn't too bad picking the items we wanted, but we didn't know for the soup base we had to order through them since they didn't mentioned anything. The items you ordered were delivered by a robot which was kinda cute. Everything came so fast but portions were a little small which was fine. So we had to order a few more items. Which we had to wait a little longer for some reason, but it turns out they never got our order so we let the waitress know which she said it was probably their system. Other than that, they had a sauce bar which you can make your own sauce for the meat. Drinks were in cans which you had to get in the fridge. Overall, it wasn't bad of an experience. Might have to go back again one day.

Went there on a Friday night, not overly busy. Great service and prompt delivery of the food. Sauces were fine. Plenty of options. Some of the meat was very frozen, but others like the chuck impressed me. The broths had good flavor and fat (a good thing). Very solid!

Madison is finally in it's hot pot renaissance! Fuki is the newest spot in town and the first spot with a little robot waiter! It's all you can eat and you can order off a QR code with the software allowing the entire table to order off their own devices. How savy! Despite the robot waiter, the humanoids are also extremely attentive and were constantly checking in and refilling our pot. The selection was good but I was surprised not to see some items like dumplings, enoki, and more veggie options. The servicing were small but since service is so fast - it wasn't an issue to order more. Excited to come back to get my hotpot fill!

We were waiting for months for Fuki to open! Everytime we went to Global Market we would peek over to see if their open. They are now! Classic AYCE hotpot. The sauces, the broths, the protein/veggie options are satisfying. Place was clean and the staff was super nice! The only thing I disliked is that they were using cleaning products on tables while we were eating and the smells were kind off distracting from the beautiful smell of the food bubbling food in front of you.

    All the fixings I ordered

The flavors were great. Broth was really flavorful and the employees were nice and made sure we understood. I would definitely go back. The waiter was charming. The dining room was very big space was great and the atmosphere was all we were looking for!! Check them out you won't be disappointed!

Was as expected for Madison hotpot, good service, meat quality was okay, sauce bar had typical self serve bar items. Solid option for large parties with big appetites.

The service is really nice and the food is super tasty! The price is reasonable cuz there are so many choices of the food! Additionally, the space is really wide. Highly recommended!

I put a little brisket burnt ends in when I make them. That would have improved these to top notch. I usually shy away from barbecue joint mac and cheese but I ordered it here. Hey, I'm in Wisconsin. It's got to be at least ok. It was better than just ok. It had a generous amount of cheese and the symtickiness that good Mac and cheese must have. For my taste, it had too much garlic. I'm a big garlic fan. When I see a recipe that says "one clove of garlic," I figure it's a misprint and they meant "one head of garlic." Here, they used powdered garlic, and I feel like the amount they used covered up the natural sweetness of the cheese. The ambiance of the place was spot on. I am visiting Madison, from Oregon (Go Ducks!) Driving by the place it looks like they've got to have at least passible 'cue. Inside it was classic back woods barbecue chic. "Log cabin" looking interior walls, red and white checkered plastic table cloths, and great old school blues on the sound system. Is this place perfect? No, won't get that until you pass through the Pearly Gates. But it's about as good as your going to get anywhere else, unless you come over to my back yard on 4th of July.

Unfortunately, Smokey Joe's doesn't have collard greens, but their mac and cheese is one of the best I have ever eaten. The consistency is perfect- creamy but not soupy. The meat should be tasty without BBQ sauce and Smoky Jon didn't dissapoint- the BBQ sauce was tangy with just the right amount of spice. Yet, the meat was absolutely delicious without it- the BBQ sauce complimented the meat. Also super nice people. I would definitely come here again. This is in the top 5 of my favorite BBQ resturaunts and judging by all the awards and trophys on the wall, I'm not alone in that opinion.

We bellied up to the bar, where the bartender was prompt, friendly and helpful. Being our first time, we asked for recommendations and without missing a beat, the brisket loaded fries with a round of old fashioned's...so that is what we went with! The drinks are well, or rail as commonly referred to around this area, and only ran us $5 - $6. They were tasty, but we could definitely tell it was a happy hour special cocktail. The fries were plentiful, definitely enough to share between us two. The brisket was tasty and the fries were crisp. And combined, the old fashioned and brisket fries was a solid duo! The pulled pork was very good - not overly fatty or anything. Good flavor. I tried the "original" and "sweet city" sauces - both were very good and not overpowering. The fries were good - a little greasy (but "good greasy" if there is such a thing). The creamy cole slaw confused me. It was a bit dry. I know, right? How is creamy cole slaw dry? I'm not sure if it's always like this, or maybe it was off the top of the batch and the "creamy" and dripped to lower parts. Don't get me wrong - it tasted good. I enjoyed the potato salad as well. The staff was also friendly and helpful. They have various bbq sauces, plates, utensils, and other condiments available on the side, which is nice. For a bbq spot in Madison, it's decent. The price is also pretty affordable, which was a huge plus! I would come back if I'm ever craving bbq again.
