We were underwhelmed by the food for this restaurant. The meat in the pot stickers were on the edge of rancid, and the portions were measley. We laughed because it looked like they intentionally smushed the rice down to make it spread across the plate... never seen anyone do that before! This place was SO cute. The sushi chef was friendly and gave small talk while making our orders, and when it all came out, it was such a nice work of art on a plate. Almost too beautiful to eat... almost... The eel was probably the freshest I've ever had, surprisingly enough, and this has become a go-to place when craving Japanese cuisine on the southern side of the country. When I opened my plate of "pad Thai", I knew it would be bad. The dish lacked color, with only a hint of red. Upon first bite, I discovered that the noodles were as mushy as they appeared, as if they had been boiled like spaghetti (which doesn't work for rice noodles!!). There were no veggies, only dry, mushy, colorless noodles, overcooked shrimp, and a fried egg. The chopped peanuts and lime slice thrown on the side could not add the necessary flavor that should've been cooked in. I had to go out to the garden, pick some kale, stir fry it with some oyster sauce and pray it improved the situation. It helped, but there is no cure for rice noodle mush. I should have just cooked. And this was me giving this restaurant another chance after feeling for some time that something is off with the chicken and beef. Came for lunch and the restaurant was very clean as service was prompt. I ordered the sashimi combo entree that came with onion soup and a house ginger salad. If I could give no stars I would. Service was god awful and rude. The sushi did not taste right. Almost as if they colored their fish, especially since our rice was stained. I always have Hibachi Shrimp with vegetables, and they have no problem if I choose certain veggies & leave off others. Shrimp is always nice, tender, & tasty. Their Gyoza is also good! (I don't know about Sushi so I can't recommend.) read more

I enjoy the sushi! Fuji offers a huge variety of hand rolls and special rolls, and they also have an extensive kitchen menu with tons of entrees. I usually get sashimi from here, which is always fresh and delicious. I shared a Volcano Roll with one of my friends, so filling but it tastes great! Every sushi place does their Volcano Roll different, but I enjoy how Fuji does theirs with shrimp tempura and topped with spicy tuna. Great food, and great service! Always a treat when coming here. I typically get the chicken or steak hibachi! Flavoring is well, and also comes with a tasty salad and soup! Egg rolls are ALWAYS a definite. They are a little pricey, but they are delicious, as well as the sauce that comes with it! I've gotten the sesame chicken once before to steer away from the hibachi and try something different, however they were a little too saucy, however that's just my preference. The white sauce is delicious as well, great to pour over the hibachi. I've never ordered sushi from here, so I can't speak for the sushi lovers out there (I have a favorite sushi spot that I only eat at) read more

It may seem pretty and fancy. The tea was the only thing I can say I liked... I ordered a steak and chicken hibachi, spring rolls and onion soup, and had to correct the waitress twice. Got my food in a exceptionally timeful mannor. I got chicken no steak. Chicken was dry like it was microwaved. The vegtables were boiled not steamed. I have given this places way to many chances. Went tonight with the family and ordered my favorite simple rolls of spicy tuna, spicy salmon and shrimp tempura. My wife and son got their food fairly quickly but then 40 minutes after I ordered my sushi I finally got it and it was wrong. Sent it back and waited another 5 mins for it to be fixed. Not the first time that this has happened to me here. There was less than 30 people in the restaurant tonight and like 5 people at the sushi bar. Just visiting here in Wilson, NC for a few days. Being a self proclaimed "sushi addict". The first thing I did was search for sushi restaurants in the area. This restaurant is one that popped up so I decided to give it a try. I ordered 2 rolls and an appetizer. I didn't have high expectations for this small town but man. I got the white rose roll and the UFO roll. I enjoyed them both immensely. My gf LOVED the Ufo roll, so much so we went back today and got one to go. They put a very generous amount of crab on top of it. My only complaint was app. It's called "mango shrimp". Which is just tempura shrimp with mango dipping sauce. Other than that, if you're in town and feel like some sushi. I suggest you give this place a shot. read more

We went on Valentine's Day and had a horrible experience. My wife and I both got Thai food for lunch, but we weren't allowed to order the cheaper lunch menu. The Thai food was not authentic. My wife is Thai, so she knows. Both dishes were just a soupy salty mess. To add insult to injury they charged us two dollars extra each because we ordered beef. We asked to see this price on the menu but they couldn't show us. They spoke Chinese and gave us the evil eye. We just paid and left. We won't be back. read more
