There are few times that I am able to write a GLOWING review of a business from start to finish…read more When I first booked this transportation, I was excited about the fact that we could get private transportation from the airport, in a large vehicle and picked up on the grounds of the airport. My fantasy became a bit of a nightmare when my flight was changed/delayed and I was unable to get in contact with the Discover in a timely fashion. Once we landed, I saw that there were multiple missed calls and messages from the service. I thought for sure that they would not be able to pick us up. Contrary to my worst nightmare, they were still able to complete the pickup AND we were still able to make our Walmart stop. This was a huge relief and our driver Marco made us feel calm after a nerve-racking couple of hours on plane and the thought that we would be stranded at the airport. Upon return to the airport, we had a very tight pickup window because of my work Zoom call that I could not miss. Marco was our return driver as well and he was right on time and whisked us off to the airport without issue. We tipped him for his outstanding service and he even took a pic with us for our memories and this review. I wholeheartedly recommend them and if you do need to make changes because of flights, (unlike me) try to reach out ASAP so they are able to accommodate your transfer. I give them a 6 out of 5 stars, if I could!

Shoutout to Ricky Ricardo, truly the hostess with the mostest -- high energy, fun, and kept the vibe going all day. Luis was also fantastic, constantly checking in and somehow remembering everyone's names, which made the experience feel very personal and welcoming. They even slowed the boat down so we could watch whales, which was a highlight, and having a photographer on board was a nice touch to capture the day. The music on the ride home was a little outdated, but honestly... it just turned into a dance party anyway -- especially once the tequila shots started making the rounds. I loved that everyone had to wear a life jacket for the first 10 minutes of the ride as I was initially nervous about the ride. After the 10 minutes are up, we had the option of continuing to wear the life jacket or take it off. All the instructions they gave were in both English and Spanish. One of the highlights on the way there was the whale watching. We saw a couple of them and it was so cool because it's the very end of the season, so we won't be seeing them again for a few months. Once we got the the island, we had some really good chips and guacamole. There were a few different excursion options for an additional cost. such as hiking to the waterfall, going horseback riding, or driving ATVs. Not sure what the cost for those were. We enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in the shallow pool with a bar attached for easy access. I highly recommend this tour. We definitely got our money's worth and more!

I have fished out of PV several times and the advantage is that it is out of the Bay of Banderas and closer to the best fishing to the north. The Fat Cat has room for about 120 people but we had about 40 which was perfect for people to be able to walk around, get a drink with no line, and have some breathing room. I thought it would just be something like breakfast pastries, open bar, lunch, and everyone can get in the water, but the experience was so much more than that. Getting on board, my wife & I got on board last and everyone already had a drink to toast to us, we saw whales in the first 30 minutes up close, got a detailed explanation of whales and their communication patterns, and throughout the whole trip the crew had spontaneous activities that are better left to be discovered as a surprise. The Crew made the trip! They had so much energy, enthusiasm, and attentiveness to everyone on board. Everyone had a drink pretty much at all times, and we had a solid hour plus in the water. Food was great and if you're celebrating something other than a wedding, I'm sure the crew will sprinkle in more fitting activities to go with the event in mind. Can't recommend this place enough (worth every peso)

I worked with Elme to book the reservation and he was always timely with email responses. When we met him on the morning of our trip he had two other members of his team with us and all of them were so personable and friendly. We set sail early and as we were on our way out to sea, we got our first catch. I had never fished before and Elme and his crew were incredibly kind and helpful with teaching me what to do. There are very few times when I felt the adrenaline that I did with catching my first fish. My boyfriend has been on many fishing charters and he had nothing but great things to say as well. I got sea sick and Elme was kind and patient. We were extremely successful on our trip as we caught a total of seven Dorado. At the end of our trip, Elme recommended Rocio's to us to take our fish and have them cook it for us to eat. We got it ceviche and grilled with garlic. Oh. My. Gosh. Was that amazing. The chef did an amazing job and our fish was prepped to perfection. There was something so incredibly satisfying to eat the fish that you caught.

They have different styles of boats depending on your trip but they all are clean and operated by professionals. I'm saying this a lot because when safety matters, you want to know that people are trained for their jobs. We snorkeled (clean equipment), bird watched, saw many whales, sea turtles and went to a secluded beach. All food and drinks provided were tasty and abundant. The entire staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We had such a great experience with the dolphin swim that before we left we booked our next adventure to Rhythms of the Night. We will definitely be booking with them when we return to Puerto Vallarta!

Sebastian picked us up at our bungalow and explained a lot about the history and nature of the area as we drove to the Alta Vista site. We had a great and easy hike to the site. Sebastian explained all of the petroglyphs along the way. We took a dip into the kings pool and stood in a hidden portal in the wall. Sebastian was great explaining the cosmology and shamanism of the ancients. We had a fantastic day with Sebastian and would highly recommend him on any nature adventure!
