Shoutout to Ricky Ricardo, truly the hostess with the mostest -- high energy, fun, and kept the vibe going all day. Luis was also fantastic, constantly checking in and somehow remembering everyone's names, which made the experience feel very personal and welcoming. They even slowed the boat down so we could watch whales, which was a highlight, and having a photographer on board was a nice touch to capture the day. The music on the ride home was a little outdated, but honestly... it just turned into a dance party anyway -- especially once the tequila shots started making the rounds. The breakfast on the way there was an assortment of fruit and mini muffins. The lunch was fajitas which we really enjoyed. I loved that everyone had to wear a life jacket for the first 10 minutes of the ride as I was initially nervous about the ride. After the 10 minutes are up, we had the option of continuing to wear the life jacket or take it off. All the instructions they gave were in both English and Spanish. One of the highlights on the way there was the whale watching. We saw a couple of them and it was so cool because it's the very end of the season, so we won't be seeing them again for a few months. Once we got the the island, we had some really good chips and guacamole. There were a few different excursion options for an additional cost. such as hiking to the waterfall, going horseback riding, or driving ATVs. Not sure what the cost for those were. We enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in the shallow pool with a bar attached for easy access. I highly recommend this tour. We definitely got our money's worth and more!

The Fat Cat has room for about 120 people but we had about 40 which was perfect for people to be able to walk around, get a drink with no line, and have some breathing room. I thought it would just be something like breakfast pastries, open bar, lunch, and everyone can get in the water, but the experience was so much more than that. Getting on board, my wife & I got on board last and everyone already had a drink to toast to us, we saw whales in the first 30 minutes up close, got a detailed explanation of whales and their communication patterns, and throughout the whole trip the crew had spontaneous activities that are better left to be discovered as a surprise. The Crew made the trip! They had so much energy, enthusiasm, and attentiveness to everyone on board. Everyone had a drink pretty much at all times, and we had a solid hour plus in the water. Food was great and if you're celebrating something other than a wedding, I'm sure the crew will sprinkle in more fitting activities to go with the event in mind. (One tip: if you're staying in Sayulita... listen when Roberta recommend getting cash ahead on the way to Sayulita! ATMs in town are often out of cash.) And while I can't remember his name, the guy who got us set up for our trip was also super helpful as was Oscar our driver. The trip itself was awesome! Palma & Edgar were a top-notch team. Palma, our guide, had so much knowledge and a real joy in sharing it. He also really knows how to connect with people, their individual needs, and help make the experience special. And because of this we saw so many different kinds of fish, birds, crabs, whales... and learned about the National Park, the area, etc. I'll have his joy-filled "Look, look... Mira, mira..." in my head for awhile as I explore the world, and that's a good thing. He guided us through Hidden Beach and it's caves and took pictures for us so we could just enjoy. On the ride back Edgar, our awesome captain, and Palma were set on finding whales, and we did! And Palma went around and filmed with everyone's cameras so that we could be in the moment and enjoy all the while keeping his energy and attention on the group experience. We saw the bigger boats out there, with water slides and such, and we were so glad to have this more intimate tour. And we met some great people on our small tour, so having beers and tacos afterward together (set up by the tour) was a great touch.

I worked with Elme to book the reservation and he was always timely with email responses. When we met him on the morning of our trip he had two other members of his team with us and all of them were so personable and friendly. We set sail early and as we were on our way out to sea, we got our first catch. I had never fished before and Elme and his crew were incredibly kind and helpful with teaching me what to do. There are very few times when I felt the adrenaline that I did with catching my first fish. My boyfriend has been on many fishing charters and he had nothing but great things to say as well. I got sea sick and Elme was kind and patient. We were extremely successful on our trip as we caught a total of seven Dorado. At the end of our trip, Elme recommended Rocio's to us to take our fish and have them cook it for us to eat. We got it ceviche and grilled with garlic. Oh. My. Gosh. Was that amazing. The chef did an amazing job and our fish was prepped to perfection. There was something so incredibly satisfying to eat the fish that you caught.

They have different styles of boats depending on your trip but they all are clean and operated by professionals. I'm saying this a lot because when safety matters, you want to know that people are trained for their jobs. We had a highly skilled captain, very entertaining and informative tour guide and many helpful deckhands. We snorkeled (clean equipment), bird watched, saw many whales, sea turtles and went to a secluded beach. All food and drinks provided were tasty and abundant. We arrived back at port safely and highly enjoyed our excursion. If we had more time, we would have done more.

The entire staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We had such a great experience with the dolphin swim that before we left we booked our next adventure to Rhythms of the Night. This was yet another fantastic experience. The boat ride there and back were both a complete blast. Dinner on the island was more than we expected. The show itself blew us away. We will definitely be booking with them when we return to Puerto Vallarta!

He was respectful of the whales but followed in a way that got us good looks and great photos. Then off south to the Islands of Mismaloya where we watched Pelicans nesting and saw blue footed boobies. We went further south to explore little coves and beaches and landed at Playa Las Animas for an excellent lunch at El Coral Restaurante. Victor has a very nice boat which is clean and well maintained. There was ample shade. He is knowledgeable and has lots of good stories. We had a great day. Victor will set up what you want and you pay a reasonable hourly rate. He will take you snorkeling, fishing, surfing and probably more.
