6 out of 5 stars! Edwin, Pablo, Alonzo, and Eddie. Thank you for such a fabulous day! Whether it was the nature preserve on Marietas Island/National Park (beautiful n bountiful yellow and blue footed Booby birds!), snorkeling in the coves, jumping off the second floor of catamaran, dancing with Pablo the bartender, or Edwin keeping 'ma familia' entertained and informed, WHAT A MEMORABLE UNFORGETTABLE DAY! M U C H A S. G R A C I A S!

We had a great experience sailing with Ally Cat. The staff was engaging & personable. Drinks and food were really good. It was a beautiful experience and we even saw whales. Would highly recommend.

    Marieta island

A must do trip! My parter and I went aboard the Fat Cat catamaran and it was the highlight of our trip. The crew (Edwin, Victor, Javi, Francisco, Danny, etc) made this the best day ever. Their energy was infectious. Transportation was provided from Sayulita, and we were greeted with mimosas and smoothies + fresh fruit and quesadillas. We then went to Marieta Islands and had some time to explore + snorkel. After that lunch was provided and it was delicious. If you don't drink alcohol they didn't force it on you, but lets just say that if you do drink alcohol you will never have an empty glass. They played music and everyone danced. We saw at least 15 whale sightings and later got to jump in the water and hang out for a bit on a floating island (with bottle service). For 100 USD you get way more than you pay for. We will be booking again!!!

    Best pina colada ever

This was my favorite part of the whole trip!! Sergio, Miguel, and Buta were the best staff we could have asked for!! They made the experience so enjoyable and we had so much fun!!! The food, drinks, music, vibes, and whale watching could not have been better!

The best excursion of my trip to Sayulita was absolutely going on a whale watching tour with the add-on special trip to the pocket beach in the Marietta islands. It's the priciest thing we did on the trip, and worth every penny. If you love whales (or just seeing the ocean! or just having fun on a boat!) this is for you. Every single member of the crew was personable, helpful, and overall fantastic. Their staff is the best. The snack and lunch were yummy and the portions were bigger than we could handle. Although I don't recommend taking advantage of it too early, the open bar is nice. When I was indecisive, the bartender mixed me a personal cocktail based on what I told him I liked. They also play a variety of fun music on the boat- country, dad rock, pop, latin, anything you can dance to. Even if you don't care about seeing nature, you'll have a great time. The best part was being out on the water and in nature. The water is perfectly clear for snorkeling and they provide everything you need. We went out in March and the water was still a little chilly, but you get used to it. We saw over a dozen whales, including several babies, exhibiting all kinds of behavior. We also saw jellyfish, dolphins, a manta ray, and all kinds of fish and live coral. I recommend bringing a waterproof pouch for your phone so you can take great photos. The crew is super happy to help you capture those memories!

    Fun with water toys!

Booked a private charter for 16 of us for our friend's birthday, and had an absolutely amazing time! The catamaran is wonderful and so comfortable, lots of cushy places to sit, the trampolines up front, bean bags and pillows. But the staff really made the trip. They were so over-the-top friendly. Always asking if they could get us anything, bringing us drinks, playing great music, and dancing with us! Big shout out to our bartender Pablo (who was been with Ally Cat 14 years!), mates Julio and Alberto, and Captain Pancho! We went snorkeling, jumped off the high dive platform, took out the paddle boards, and lounged on the lily pad, They served a light breakfast, snacks of chips, salsa and fresh guacamole, and delicious lunch buffet of chicken tacos, rice and beans, plus plenty of drinks all day. Definitely a highlight of our trip. Totally recommend!

Ally Cat provided our group with the most amazing catamaran experience. This was absolutely one of the major highlights of our trip. Our group of 30+ people rented the catamaran for the day. We left from Sayulita via shuttle and got to the dock within 10-15 minutes. The boat was beautiful and the staff was amazing from start to finish. They whipped up drinks, served lunch and dessert from their mini kitchen, and coordinated our excursion to Punta Mita and the Marieta islands. All of this was done to perfection. We had such a blast and the staff was so much fun to be around. We were also able to dive and use their Lily Pad. Super cool experience. Just a note - if you venture out to the Marieta islands, you won't be able to drink so they stop serving alcohol while you're there. We even had the local police join our boat at that time to make sure no one was drinking. Kinda extra of them, but kinda funny.

What a magical day we had with Ally Cat Tours. These guys are the absolute best! They took such great care of us from the drinks (a full bar with Pina Coladas, Mimosas or anything you could want) and food (they even caught a fish prepared it for us), to showing us a great day on the ocean. They took our group of 20+ ladies snorkeling and to end it all we got to swimming in a private part of the water complete with kayak for standup paddling and a lily pad for us to float on. One of the the ladies lost her watch and they dove down 30 feet to retrieve it!!

This group was incredible. We have done about 20 boat tours in different locations and this team was by far the best. They had an amazing team, fantastic tour, amazing food and took the best care of us! Thank you team!

This is our third time to take an ally cat tour and once again it did not disappoint!! It is always the star of our PV vacations and we being different people with us each time!! From the beginning to the end, this is a 1st class tour to the Marietta's! An all day fun experience and something you won't forget easily!! We can't wait to go back again!

We went on a bachelorette trip late last year to Sayulita and booked the catamaran for the day. It was the absolute highlight of our entire trip. The boat was beautiful, the views gorgeous but the crew went above and beyond to take care of us and make the day trip as spectacular as it was. Sergio, Berto, and Danny. Thank you guys! We all appreciate what you did to make our trip so special.

We saw so many whales numerous times. The crew is very knowledgeable about the whale birthing and migration process.

The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming from the start. Fair warning: the drinks start flowing around 9am, so pace yourself and bring lots of sunscreen -- the sun + cocktails add up quickly. The booze selection is pretty generic, but plentiful, and the snacks along the way are appreciated. The fajita lunch was solid and hit the spot after a morning on the water. Shoutout to Ricky Ricardo, truly the hostess with the mostest -- high energy, fun, and kept the vibe going all day. Luis was also fantastic, constantly checking in and somehow remembering everyone's names, which made the experience feel very personal and welcoming. They even slowed the boat down so we could watch whales, which was a highlight, and having a photographer on board was a nice touch to capture the day. The music on the ride home was a little outdated, but honestly... it just turned into a dance party anyway -- especially once the tequila shots started making the rounds. All in all, a great excursion with a fun crowd, attentive staff, and memorable moments. Easy 4 stars and a solid choice if you're looking for a lively day trip while in Puerto Vallarta.

The breakfast on the way there was an assortment of fruit and mini muffins. The lunch was fajitas which we really enjoyed. I loved that everyone had to wear a life jacket for the first 10 minutes of the ride as I was initially nervous about the ride. After the 10 minutes are up, we had the option of continuing to wear the life jacket or take it off. All the instructions they gave were in both English and Spanish. One of the highlights on the way there was the whale watching. We saw a couple of them and it was so cool because it's the very end of the season, so we won't be seeing them again for a few months. Once we got the the island, we had some really good chips and guacamole. There were a few different excursion options for an additional cost. such as hiking to the waterfall, going horseback riding, or driving ATVs. Not sure what the cost for those were. We enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in the shallow pool with a bar attached for easy access. I highly recommend this tour. We definitely got our money's worth and more!

(One tip: if you're staying in Sayulita... listen when Roberta recommend getting cash ahead on the way to Sayulita! ATMs in town are often out of cash.) And while I can't remember his name, the guy who got us set up for our trip was also super helpful as was Oscar our driver. The trip itself was awesome! Palma & Edgar were a top-notch team. Palma, our guide, had so much knowledge and a real joy in sharing it. He also really knows how to connect with people, their individual needs, and help make the experience special. And because of this we saw so many different kinds of fish, birds, crabs, whales... and learned about the National Park, the area, etc. I'll have his joy-filled "Look, look... Mira, mira..." in my head for awhile as I explore the world, and that's a good thing. He guided us through Hidden Beach and it's caves and took pictures for us so we could just enjoy. On the ride back Edgar, our awesome captain, and Palma were set on finding whales, and we did! And Palma went around and filmed with everyone's cameras so that we could be in the moment and enjoy all the while keeping his energy and attention on the group experience. We saw the bigger boats out there, with water slides and such, and we were so glad to have this more intimate tour. And we met some great people on our small tour, so having beers and tacos afterward together (set up by the tour) was a great touch.

We originally were supposed to travel w/10 families, but 6 cancelled due to the cartel leader being unalived over a month ago. We almost cancelled our trip due to the travel advisory and friends and family advising us not to go for safety reasonings. We had no issues on our trip and even travelled into town to do some glass shopping. Anyhow, I chose this company based off the good reviews and we wanted a trust worthy transportation company during this uncertainty. First off, I'm so glad I saved the pic of the directions on how to find them after baggage claim. Since it was our time in PV I didn't know what to expect at the airport. I can tell you that the shark tank with of scammers that don't work Vallarta will "pretend" they work for the company and will ask you for your name and try to mislead you that they are Vallarta transfers in the airport area where you see all the signs. I remember to meet with the people in the airport but my hubby and I almost fell for it cause they literally let us know that they were looking for us and worked for Vallarta transfers. Has actually called they said before you exit the airport. I can't believe we does. It seem so truthful. Read this! Do not talk to anyone in the airport for this company. They will say they work for the company and they don't and they will sign you up with a separate ticket. Those are scammers and should get arrested for this.!! I yelled at them to leave us alone! They are great liars and con-artists!! Ignore and BEWARE !! Exit airport and walk to left and cross the cross walk where you see the yellow stripes on side walk... you will than see a tall blue flag with "Vallarta Transfers" and a sign with your name. It was very nice to hear that we were at the right spot. That day was so crowded because it was a holiday weekend. And our driver had to wait an extra hour for us. Anyhow, it was very nice and relieved to see the right company and it was nice to be drinking a coronarita on the way to the resort. All the staff was very friendly and talkative. One person name that stood out was "Christopher". I remembered his name because my brother's name and he was very helpful giving us suggestions and telling us about the town. anyhow, the airport is 15 minutes from "Dreams" if anyone wants to know. We ended up doing the one-way pay instead of the round-trip pay. I guess we could've saved 30 bucks if we would've booked Uber XL on the way to the airport. We are promised that we would get beer on the way to the airport when we returned, please see the photo of the receipt. Then they emailed me and said sorry, we only do beer when we welcome you at the airport, but not when we drive you back on your departure. So that is why I give the four star review because in the email invoice they indicated they would give us beers both ways but it wasn't true.. It was $60-65 one way w/o tip. What I should've done was book Uber XL from resort to airport as it was giving me quotes for $17-23 one way without tip. We just had a ton of luggage that is why we booked it both ways. Ended up taking a Uber to town mid trip. It cost us $7 each way. We didn't have a bad experience. I Hope this review Will help you out on your next adventure. Yes we would use it again for one way only if we had less luggage. If You're traveling with no kids and less luggage and I would say go for the UberXL you will save money.
