Oh Fuddruckers. My favourite restaurant ever! And not just because it's got the Ruckers next to it or the Mini-Golf but because of the food. I love their hot dogs. I love how in the middle of the restaurant they have their pop fountain station for customers to get their own drinks. They also have a prep food station for the customers to get all their food toppings and what not even their sauces as well. I love the cheese sauce especially. They have a dessert bar area. I absolutely love this place! I came here as a child and it hasn't changed much which is why I love it! Kids meal is what I get every time! You add your own toppings at the self-serve toppings bar. The cheese sauce seems like the cheap nacho stuff, but it's not! It's warm, and delicious.. They also have this special Fudd's salt seasoning which I think is Hy's. I ordered a chicken burger (which was moist), fries, cookie and I buy a turtle brownie from the dessert counter. We got the cheesecake which wasn't too fresh nor was the brownie as it's in a cooler unwrapped. They have renovated this place a few years back but have kept its nostalgic feel. Recommend! read more

The one we've been is located on 8th Street East Saskatoon. It was my first time having food at this place. We arrived the restaurant around 8 pm. Even though it had already passed dinner time, there are still lots of customers having food at the restaurant. Environment: Fuddruckers is a large size restaurant. Lots of tables inside the restaurants, which is a good place to hold a party. People can order their food first at the front of the restaurant. Then, they can find the seat inside. There are many seats and tables there, so people don't need to worry about to find a place to sit. Service: The restaurant has only a few servers around customers. They don't serve drinks and food. They are doing the cleaning after people eat. They cleaned the table very fast. The people who worked at the front were nice and friendly. If you have any misunderstanding of the menu, they will explain to you. Food/Price: We ordered four different sizes of burger meat patties with different sides. Three of us ordered pop drinks and my boyfriend had a milkshake. This place is a very interesting. You will get your drinks and food by yourself. So, after we ordered the food, the people who took the order, gave us an electronic number. Once our food (Burger Meat Patties) ready, the number will turn on to remind us. After 10 ~ 15 mins waiting, our food was finally ready. We picked up our burgers first and then went to the topping section to get toppings. We could pick anything we want. The Burger meat patties were fresh and well cooked, but they were less flavors. After we added toppings, they were tasted decent. The prices of the food were a little bit expensive. FUDDRUCKERS!!! Growing up there was one in Edmonton, sadly it closed many years ago. I have fond memories of being knee high to my dad, standing in line and waiting for a table, dreaming about that molten cheese sauce I could dunk my potato wedges into. Days before a recent trip to Saskatchewan I was lamenting to my boyfriend about how I wished there was still one of these locations around and he told me that I was in luck, there was one in Saskatoon! I was so stoked about it and had no trouble convincing him to take a lunch break there. I walked in and the smell was exactly as I remembered it as a child... the air heavy and fragrant with sharp spice and yeast from the in-house bakery. It was lighter inside with more windows and white walls than I remember the Edmonton location being all those years ago, but the toppings bar and the neon beer signs were exactly the same as I remember. I ordered the smallest size burger available (1/3 pound--mushroom swiss!) on a whole wheat bun and my boyfriend got the breakfast burger with sweet potato fries that we shared (and by shared I mean I ate pretty much all of them and he left me alone about it). He also ordered a cinnamon bun milkshake which was delicious and perfect (seriously, cinnamon bun flavoured items are always a great life choice). It felt like the wait was long for our burgers but it was very reasonable. I was just starving and super excited to be there so the wait seemed much longer than it really was. The burger was cooked perfectly, not too dry, and the bun to topping ratio was perfect. I know that some people say that the bun is too big for the burger but the bun HAS to be that big in order for you to fit all of the other toppings on there. Lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers, ALL of the pickles is what I chose to put on mine, but there was salsa and all sorts of sauces and condiments, raw onions and japalenos and of course the molten cheese sauces. Since my burger already had cheese I just took some of the sauce back to the table to dunk my sweet potato fries into (half jalapeno, half regular of course). Is this the best burger in the world? No, but it is a really damn good one. Great selection, service and product. If you want a good solid burger that you can customize until your heart is content this is the place for you. I am so happy that we went and considering that we have about 4 more trips to make to SK over the next few months I forsee many more trips to Fuddruckers where I know I will not be disappointed. read more

Fuddruckers, a sparsely located, small specialty chain, begins with its own butcher shop on premises to grind fresh burgers in a variety of sizes, and will cook them to your preference. Like it medium-rare? No problem. The mushroom topping is so full of flavor, it could be a side dish. Add the fresh toppings from the do it yourself bar, and you have a delicious burger. Seriously thick milk shakes and a variety of deserts are also highlights. For a couple of bucks more that McD's or Wendy's, you wonder why you would ever bother with them if there is a Fuddruckers around. Search this one out! read more

There are things in life less certain than Fudrucker's Jalapeno Cheese Dip, such as who will be picked for the one-way Mars missions, will the Riders resign Sheets, what part of the chicken is shaped like a nugget? All questions that mankind has properly devoted entirely too much time to. Alas, I can provide no answers to these gripping questions. But I can say this: you are severely mentally challenged if you do not try the jalapeno cheese dip. I give Fudruckers a lot of credit for whatever potion of monsato-made poison they used to create that magical condiment. Bonus: when placing your order you can give them whatever funny name you want and they will call it out over the loud speaker when your food is done. "Mr. [Pause] Mozart, your order is ready." I enjoy Canada's only Fuddruckers on a regular basis. Burgers can be eaten anywhere but to truly enjoy one, it can only be a Fuddrucker burger. I can't tell you about anything on the menu but the half pound topped with shredded lettuce, tomato/onion/cilantro (cilantro is what makes it) mix, salsa and jalapeños with fries and a sprite with lots of squeezed lemons. In 27 years, I have NEVER ordered anything else. It's just that good that I won't miss an opportunity to enjoy just that. Sounds odd but true. Great atmosphere. Can't be beat. read more

I heard it's the last Fuddruckers in all the land. So I ventured myself to experience it for the first time on a business trip to Saskatoon. Upon entering the establishment to your left is a meat patty area with a display windows of the burger pattys you can order for your burger or even to take home. No lie they have a 1lbs patty, to say the least it's intimidating. I was told that when one was ordered or ready for pick up they'd ring a bell. I guess someone took offence to this and they no longer do the bell call challenge. I ordered a 1/2lbs burger with sweet potato fries. You can order your burger in 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, and the beast 1lbs. You can custom your burger at the veggie buffet or order a pre-built burger as well. The one thing I noticed was as much as they sold burgers there was a taco salad that was almost as popular. The taco salad was enromous I mean filled an entire serving tray. The portion sizes are very large so come hungry. The restaurant is quite dinner decored, think Johnny Rockets type except its order and pick up from the counter with organized table seating. There is also a fountain drink station with all the regular pops and a desert station you can order from as well. It's was a good tasting burger overall good experience. read more

I really appreciate the quality of the burgers at Fudds. I find that many of the burger places with similar prices (not cheap) - 5 Guys, Fatburger, Jerrys - use crap meat that is full of gristle that tastes old. Fudds meat really is lean and flavourful. They also have good gluten free buns (another thing the others typically do not). A meal is typically 50% the price of your burger again, however, so one's bill adds up quickly. Thus its not a frequent go-to for us, but we will return. read more

Wow this place was great. They have beef and chicken burgers as well as the normal sides you'd expect from a burger joint like onion rings and fries. They also have bison and salmon burgers. The beef burgers come in a variety of sizes (up to 1lb patties). They also offer a variety of styles like blue cheese, mushroom, bacon etc. The blue cheese topped burger that I had was excellent as were the onion rings. One of the best parts was that they have a toppings bar with everything you could think of to put on your burger and you get to put what you want on in the amounts you want yourself. The building was huge with lots of seats, but it was fairly crowded considering it was a weeknight. I can see it being difficult to find a place to sit on weekends even with all the seating. Fudds in Saskatoon has been a great great burger joint forever. We were always guaranteed a great meal, quality ingredients, clean and well maintained, great service ..... well all good things must come to an end... not sure if the place is under new management or what ???? but our meals were lacking something??? Flavour ?? nothing was as good as usual, the flavours were not there burgers were cold the buns were dry, my fav sweet potato fries with Chipotle dip, I found some weird hard lump thing in the bottom of the cup. everything is moved around they ran out of cutlery, we had to ask for forks and they gave us plastic forks in plastic bags said they ran out and no more were coming back out, they seemed completely out of sorts this was not the place I have eaten in at twice a month for the past 20 some years ... Visited this location last Friday around 6:00 pm. There was a line up almost to the front door. My husband and I debated whether we would wait in the long line or return in an hour hoping the supper rush would be over. We decided to wait and I am glad we did. We were waiting for about five minutes before we placed our order, did not wait to get a table (the place was packed), and waited about ten to fifteen minutes for our food. The food was excellent, as usual, hot and fresh. We were seated so we could see the counter and kitchen area. While we waited for our food, we watched the hustle and bustle of the staff and agreed that they are efficient and effective in their jobs. We saw a little girl drop her plate by the condiment bar and she started to cry. Within seconds, the mess was cleaned up and within a few minutes a staff member went to her table with a new plate for her. We travel to Saskatoon once or twice a year and Fuddrucker's continues to be our favorite place for a fantastic burger. read more

Good burgers and have never had a bad experience there. A bit pricey for a burger but you get what you pay for. Fries now basic, not big home style slabs like in past years, which is a bit of a downgrade. They now have buzzers to alert you of your order rather than yelling your name over a speaker... lateral move I suppose. read more
