Everything I learned from her almost 4.5 years ago has still stuck with me to this day. I even occasionally refer to her emails and notes when I need to remember something regarding food planning/nutrition. I made great progress when I started with her in 2021 to 2023, which was when I did a lot of endurance training. I dialed back on my fitness the past year and a half and didn't stay on a consistent nutrition plan, so my body comp has changed a bit since previous years. Nothing drastic, but I'm back to being consistent and motivated to make some positive changes this year. I would not have been as easily motivated without Madeleine's previous coaching!!! I found it so easy to bounce back into a consistent food routine. She instilled in me a lasting lifestyle change and a shift in perspective when it comes to fueling and eating that truly sticks over the years. It was so easy to remember her simple and realistic tips - food swaps to get more protein into each meal, being mindful of hunger cues, and healthy snack swaps. It's amazing how these simple changes can make an impact on your daily macros. In this day and age with social media advice and AI meal planning, the value of having a supportive and knowledgeable real human who can individually tailor and guide your nutrition goals accurately is so apparent. Madeleine is extremely supportive - welcomes emails/texts and responds promptly. No question goes unanswered, and I tend to ask a lot of questions. Meal plans are simple and easy to follow. Something that stood out that I was not expecting was... during our first meeting she requested a list of various restaurants I frequent and gave me a bunch of options at each that supported my health goals. And since then she has provided this support when I'm traveling or going out to eat somewhere new (but I honestly have to ask less frequently because she has taught me what to look for). Highly recommend working with Madeleine to reach your goals!

I met Sara through Cielo House, an eating disorder treatment center in San Jose, but am continuing working with her through her private practice. From the get-go Sara was fantastic about getting to know me holistically and not just from a diet standpoint, with the idea that all aspects of one's life influence their wellness and relationship with food. Her knowledge about health, medicine, etc. is surprisingly vast, and I feel very comfortable under her care. I was very surprised with how well Sara adapts advice or plans specifically to my circumstances. I'm a competitive athlete and she was able to balance my fueling needs perfectly with more typical approaches to developing intuitive eating. Through her, I've learned how to adapt my intake in various circumstances or training scenarios. As a nurse myself, I had done a lot of reading related to food and nutrition in order to build upon what I had learned over the years, and I thought I was generally proficient. Intellectually I had some solid tools, but emotionally I was struggling with my weight and couldn't figure it out after a lot of personal examination and reflection. I was so convinced my weight gain was due to perceived health conditions, menopause related stuff, extreme stress that I'd experienced recently, etc. I resisted asking for, much less paying for, help. I will say this: it's the best personal and financial investment I have made, period. It was simple: it really was the food, and the way I was utilizing it every day. The program is completely holistic in that although the program is food focused, the positive side effects include feeling so GOOD physically and emotionally. It's a cliche but it's been six weeks, I've lost an average of 3 lbs/week and it has already changed my life. What sets the Healthy Way apart is the fact that they are committed to your HEALTH, which encompasses more than weight loss. This is the first time that I felt like I have learned the proper tools that have me set for life. I have discovered how bad I felt with certain foods that were not necessarily unhealthy, but for whatever reason were not working for me. Some basic thoughts on the program: 1. Anyone can do it. My schedule is crazy, I commute, and they outline everything so you can build it into your life. 2. Financially it is completely do-able. They have different plans, are flexible and this program is the ultimate form of self care. 3. Convenience: it's here in town! You can also do an online program. Counselors can do phone appointments as well as in person. They don't push products or other foods, and there's a store inside and some key items I buy are cheaper there than the grocery store. This program covers every possible life scenario. 4. The program is supported by the medical community. It's not junk science or cult like and weird. You don't need to unpack your life story to find success here. It's grounded in integrity and it works, and it's centered around normal food, not pre packaged items. It is individualized and your program can change at any time based on your needs. 5. Cheri, the owner, is so passionate about health....everyone's health! What she's created, along with the staff there, is incredible and enduring. They make you want to get on the scale-if you can believe that. They make it easy because they're so supportive, there's no shame ever and they have a plan for everything. Accountability is not a horrible thing. I'm so grateful for every single staff member. I can keep going but the bottom line is, I fully endorse this program for anyone who is ready to invest in themselves, who is ready to discover the path towards their own health. When I think about it, the Healthy Way is the best kept secret.

I believe with their help and suggestions I can accomplish that and maintain the weight by following the advice I was given and it will be daily and close to what I am doing now. They offer a variety of protein products but never push them. The products they have do help with my diet. I eat at least five meals a day but small amounts. Once you start it's easy to follow. You can also get appetizer suppressants that helps you from craving foods that you are used to eating, lucky for me I don't need them since I know what to stay away from. If you want to lose weight quickly without all the nonsense then I highly recommend this place. So far I have been sticking to my diet and workout plan and the results I am seeing are phenomenal - thank you
