The equipment is all new state of the art, recovery in various forms including but not limited to the sauna, zero gravity heated tilt table, the cryochamber and a red-light bed are all on-site making that easy to incorporate and helps maximize our gains. Open workout templates with recovery notes are up on the screen if you need some additional motivation or variety in your workout. If you don't want to workout solo, the group classes are awesome and for me, the biggest part of why I keep showing up. In the group classes, regardless of your level of experience or fitness and despite the varying goals, the coaches are able to speak to the kinetics and the way proper form is supposed to look and feel. The coaches are well versed in being able to speak to how the movements can be tailored for strength, for balance, for mobility, for speed, you name it. The level of expertise and experience, passion and intensity in what they do and how they motivate and push everyone is palpable and inspiring. When people love what they do it makes all the difference and creates a special atmosphere where we all want to see each other grow and excel in maximizing our potential. There is a strong sense of community that feels unique to this place, yet inclusive of all! For the aspiring or well versed golfers, the golf bays have everything you need to level up your performance and if you love data and analysis, I don't see how you couldn't love the bays! What sets this place apart though despite the top notch services are the coaches and community here. It's the people and the performance! In short the coaches are passionate, driven, and embody high energy about what they do and share a level of expertise you don't find in other places. Training at The LAB has been one of the best decisions I've made for my running / fitness journey. I came in with big goals, a lot of nerves, and honestly a lot of self doubt. From the beginning, the coaches and community created such a welcoming and motivating environment. Coach Angie has done an amazing job building a plan that challenges me while also helping me grow stronger and smarter as a runner. Every workout feels intentional and tailored toward helping me reach my marathon goals. I've gained so much confidence in myself since starting here. Coach Jimmy pushes you in every single workout class! No doubt you're going to sweat and be sore. Coach Nino reminded me that i am stronger than my fears and pushed me to conquer box jumps. I LOVE THE LAB. Wow. I have always been a fitness lover, runner, and I also teach barre classes myself. My expectations are high and I always crave the kick butt workout. The Lab has unlocked a whole new level of fitness and excitmenet of me ... In just two months, I have learned more and seen more results than I have in a long time. Came for the fitness, stayed for the community. The Lab has become the cornerstone of health and wellness for our family and many others in Monterey Bay. We absolutely love it. My wife and I take group classes regularly, our children receive sport-specific strength and conditioning, and when we're not training, we're often there anyway utilizing the recovery benefits of the sauna, cryo chamber, and red light bed.
