This has been the worst massage I ever had. The person at the front was the person providing the massage and he never communicated with me. He only showed me the prices and walked ahead of me to show me the room. Once he started to massage me he put so much pressure. I was extremely uncomfortable. Today I'm still feeling pain on my shoulders and back. I have bruises all over. Language was a barrier and he did not try to understand anything I was saying. This was my third visit. My first two were fair. So why did I return? I wanted a place close to home and reasonably priced. I had read some good reviews about them and hoped I would get a knowledgeable massage/ reflexology therapist that I could visit regularly. Not this time. During the session she was pleasant enough but apparently knows only one or two massage strokes. Communication (language) barrier was a problem. There were 5 employees that I saw. They seemed not to know what they were supposed to be doing. (Very disconcerting--not a relaxing environment). The topper was at checkout. I was paying in cash for myself and two friends. I was shocked when she began insisting I had not paid enough! I had included the tip in the total. I tried explaining the math and that there is nothing posted about tip requirements--but to no avail. The volume got louder so I left. Absolutely awful place! Do not waste your money here. Staff is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Communication is rather difficult as well. Called about purchasing a Groupon and they told me don't bother with it, to pay the Groupon price at the place. She told me to come now so i was there within 10 minutes. When I arrived they told me they weren't available and to come back in 20-30 minutes. The lady was hard to understand and at the end, she tried to charge me double the Groupon price, saying I agreed to another 30 minutes, which I did not! She called the owner and she tried to force me to pay the same, instead of what I asked for. Massage was alright, had much better. Not at all relaxing though because there was a couple getting a foot massage who kept talking, laughing, watching videos on there phones, and the guy took two different phone calls during that time. This was the first time I came to this place. I used a classpass credit that I had. I made sure to call the day before to ensure that I could use it and also bring a guest for a couples massage in the same room. The woman on the phone assured me that I could do that. When I arrived the staff spoke no english and was demanding I pay $120 for 2 people. After I explained that I have a classpass booked she told me I can't use it and need to pay. Eventually after making a call she said it was fine and took me back. I was trying to explain that we were supposed to do the couples same room option and the man told me no and shut my curtain. When the massage started he put headphones in and the entire time all I could hear as his music/videos. The worst part was the end when I went to leave I left a $25 tip which would've been 20% for the both of us. She demanded we tip more and kept pointing at the receipts saying no, no. At first I didn't know what she was saying but my guest threw down another $4 because it was awkward and we wanted to leave. The lady shoved the receipt near my guests face and kept pointing saying $4 really? And a staff was standing in front of the door staring us down. My guest felt so uncomfortable so she left an extra $25. basically was forced to pay $50 tip. They still had an attitude and stared at us and didn't even say thank you have a nice day nothing just looked at us until we left the place. I have a Massage Envy membership and I'm sooo unhappy with it. It's not prestigious as Massage Envy but you get your money's worth X2! My appointment started a little late bc the masseuse had to run pick up his daughter's glasses, but once it started, it was very relaxing. I had quite a knot in my back that he was able to get out and the next day, when I drove 4 hours, I didn't suffer back pain like I usually do after long drives! I have been going here for about a year because it's located close to home. Massages have been inconsistent depending on the person but mostly good. However, it has declined steadily the past few months. Todays visit will be my last as this person didn't apply any pressure to my back/neck/head like they usually do and the extra attention to my legs felt like she was killing time in the 60 minute massage. She was also coughing during the treatment without looking away or covering herself, I had to try to translate she should go get some water and take a moment. Went today and thoroughly enjoyed my one hour body massage and so did my spouse. The place is very tranquil and the staff is nice. The only issue I had was with pricing. I paid for two massages and she ran my card for $100 when they're advertised for $45 like everywhere including the website where I scheduled the appointment. Instead of arguing about it, I paid it and kept it moving. A major perk was their usage of hot stones without there being an added charge like other spas. I can so get jiggy with that! When you walk in the back it's very relaxing and quite. I got the 45min foot massage and 45min body massage. I don't usually like my feet being touched but they use pressure so it doesn't really tickle. It's like the massage I've always needed! First and last visit! Highly disappointed. Husband purchased massage vouchers the night before through Groupon which we showed the employee upon our arrival. By the way, she nor the other gentleman on sight spoke English; she uses Google translator on her phone. The massage was the worst I ever had; the towels and sheets were below standards, and professionalism and spa etiquette was lacking. Now comes time to pay and we pull up the Groupon voucher again and she's clueless to what is going on. So she calls another lady on the phone who says we need to pay full price and call Groupon. My husband wasn't having that so he begins contacting Groupon while we continue to go back and forth with the lady on the phone telling us to hurry and pay because they have customers waiting. 5 minutes pass, still waiting on Groupon customer service; she (lady on phone) asks for the voucher codes and says we owe $10, the price difference between regular rate and Groupon rate. This is one of my go to reflexology places, but I just had the worst massage ever by a female. The males have always been really great and you leave feeling refreshed, but the lady last night, omg awful. There was nothing "reflexology " about the massage. It was like an awful Swedish massage. I think her name was Lucy? I will only return and have a male do the massage. Note that my mom had Anny and said she was great. There was also a kid hacking it's lungs out and screaming and crying in the lobby for about 5 minutes during the massage. I give this two stars for the amazing lady who was there about a year ago; she had a gift! The last two massages were atrocious (inconsistent pressure); I walked out of the last one. The lady/massage therapist left NINE times in the span of 30 minutes. She checked out customers, greeted new ones, and spoke with her coworkers. I made a mental note that if she left again I would get up and leave. At the 37 minute mark she stopped the massage to talk. I counted to 60 and when she was still talking i sat up and wiped the oil off. She apologized and explained they were busy. She charged me for the full 70 min plus hot stones! English is a bit of a struggle for her (she's Chinese), but she easily makes up for it in her technique, attention to detail & caring disposition. I was given a gift card for an hour long FOOT massage. The person selected this location as she sees it when she shops in the area, but has never been a client. Upon my arrival there were two men, neither spoke English well but one of them led me to a darkened room with several massage beds. It was kinda creepy. As the massage began...which I thought was for my feet, he began massaging my scalp. His hands reeked of cigarette smoke...and now surely I did. Overall it was an overly aggressive massage; several times I had to stop him from applying too much pressure. Eventually he did get to my feet. My first massage that I had last week was a three to four star massage every massage I had had since then has been painful the one I had yesterday was nice for the first 30 minutes but after that was painful the second time I went there I was so happy to return and could not wait to have the same massage done I am on my feet all day at work so I was hoping to get some relief like before. So then the guy that just lied to me told me to come on we can do it for $30 so I agreed because the massage I got the day before would have been worth it the massage I received I should not of had to pay for I had to tell him it hurt over ten times and he keep causing me pain. When I went back a third time hoping the first guy would be there the lady that just staired at my receipts gave me a massage I wanted the foot zone massage and she talked me out of what I wanted so that she could make more money she also started doing the massage to soft after I didn't want my eyes covered because it was to hot I told her that it was to hot with my eyes covered she said o and started massaging to soft from that point on I new she was going to act the same way as that guy that lied to me about the price when you go to the back to use the restroom it smells like dead fish like something died.
