Great selection of higher-end products, a good beer fridge, and capable bakery and deli. The store…read moreis very modern and clean. The customer service was also good when I had to bring in a return of something that I even opened by accident! The prices reflected the above good points and were comparable to the cost of shopping at Whole Foods! As long as you were fine, at least one bag of groceries you were probably going to pay 100 bucks. Still, there are no good options nearby, so I still shopped here regularly.

There is a reason, well, several reasons that I can point directly at to explain the rise of Publix…read moreto the very definition of what a supermarket should and could be here in the southeastern United States. First, Publix has amazing customer service. You are continuously greeted by the employees as you walk through the supermarket. They also will address any question or concern you might have. Customer service is just one thing that sets Publix apart. Another thing is their weekly BOGO (buy one, get on free) deals. Every week they have a slew of great deals. We also cannot forget their subs, affectionately known as pub subs. These are great subs. One of my main go to subs their Italian. I also like their roast beef and cheese. My daughter, who is not a huge sandwich fan, even likes their chicken tenders subs. My son, who does like sandwiches, likes their Italian sub, as well. Kind of weird to realize that some of the best subs come from a supermarket, but Publix definitely delivers. Oh, another thing that I am a fan of is the Publix diet iced tea, available over by the deli section. The deli is also pretty impressive. You can get cakes and whatnot, but I really like their bread and they also have pizza dough do that you can make your own homemade pizza. All in all, Publix is a great supermarket and it is my go to supermarket. If you have been to Publix, I am sure you will understand. If you are not familiar with Publix supermarket, try them once and you will be a fan. Publix has come a long way since they began here in Florida. They have expanded throughout the southeast and continue to grow. As I said, I do recommend Publix, definitely the best supermarket around.

There were people everywhere, & the whole place felt chaotic. I know Walmart can get busy, but this was more hectic than I expected. It made what should've been a simple shopping trip feel like a lot more work than it needed to be. I did like the merch & there was a decent selection but it being so busy discouraged me. I guess I'll try a weekday maybe it's less crowded .

This is an interesting Walmart. I mean all of them are interesting in their own way. Since moving…read moreto Ocala, this has been the main location we frequent due to the close proximity to home. I mostly opt for the Walmart+ delivery but every so often, I shop in person. I personally have not any horrible experiences here, at least with the staff or the store itself. The customers are usually the issue. My most recent visit was pleasant overall. The customers were very decent, some even friendly and polite. The staff is usually professional and friendly. The customer service I think is excellent at this store. The store is usually pretty well stocked and clean. The parking lot is usually more of a mess than inside. Again, it's the customers who are too lazy to throw out their trash or return the shopping carts to the appropriate place. There is a lot of criminal activity here, as I have read about in the news so just be a little guarded when you are shopping here. The police do have those little security cranes in the parking lot but I do think there needs to be way more lighting outside.

Freshfields farm is my favorite place to get produce from! It's always super fresh and affordable…read more The meat section has a great selection of steaks and seafood. They have every basic protein available. Also checkout the ice cream window! They have Sundaes, hot dogs and turkey legs!

I had passed by this barn-like structure near downtown Orlando before and wondered what it was…read more Well, it is a very busy meat and produce store! We went on a Sunday and the parking lot was packed so we had to circle to find a spot. Luckily, there seem to always be people coming AND going so it only took a few minutes. Freshfields Farm is split up into 3 distinct areas - the fresh meat store, the fresh produce store, and the ice cream (and hot dog) window. We decided to head to the meat entrance first. The area is not that big but it is just lots of selections of fresh meat, cheese and butter. The meats seemed to be pretty good prices, slightly below Publix where I normally shop. There was ground beef, turkey, steak, chicken and seafood. Plus some huge cuts of meat like picanha and ribs. If you are going to have a BBQ, this is the place to go. Also, workers were constantly bringing out new packages and some people were waiting for them. I picked up 2 pounds of ground beef and some boneless, skinless chicken breasts. The cashiers were nice and super quick. Then we headed outside and then next door to the produce section. Basically the same as the meat department but filled with produce. There were bins of fresh strawberries when we walked in as well as avocados, a whole section of bananas and plantains, rainbow carrots, and even full cacao pods! I'm guessing they just showcase fresh seasonal produce so for example, while there were fresh plums, I didn't see navel oranges. There was also a fridge case full of squeezed juices and lemonades. And a big section of various types of mushrooms. I got a package of sliced cantaloupe and a big pack of 30 eggs. We checked out the ice cream window, which looked super yummy but because we hadn't eaten lunch yet, we decided we'll come back another time to try it.
