I have been purchasing firearms from FSS for well over 10 years now and have not had a bad experience. Ross, Jim, Chris and Barry are all very helpful, polite and knowledgeable about firearms and anything related to them. I usually learn something new every time I go there. They usually have great items in stock and the online store has almost everything you could ever want. They always call promptly when a firearm is ready and processing is efficient. There prices are competitive. No need to go anywhere else. Just a great store. read more

Jim was extremely helpful and knowledgeable walking me through my first purchase. Highly recommend.

Simply the best. My experience here was significantly better than my experiences in other shops in the area. Unlike some other shops, Ross and Chris made me feel welcome. They're a fun and friendly group of guys who treat you like the value your business. They are knowledgeable, their prices are fair, and their selection is absolutely amazing. The experience with this shop was nothing short of pressure-free, fun, friendly, and painless. They shared their input, spent time with me answering questions, and demonstrated patience. I never felt rushed. Needless to say, I purchased my newest addition here based on all of the above. I intend to deal exclusively with this shop from now on and will absolutely return for anything I need. read more

I have been buying guns here for over ten years. They have always been friendly and knowledgeable and I will continue to go here first whenever I want another firearm. I have had many transfers here also for firearms purchased out of state and that has always been executed without a glitch. read more

We purchased the Groupon deal for the one hour training and simulation. As much fun as the simulator was, the best part was the actual training we received from Mark. Owning a gun is a tremendous responsibility, and it is IMPERATIVE that anyone purchasing a firearm should know how to use it PROPERLY. Safety cannot be stressed enough. Mark was very professional, and I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone who owns a firearm, or is considering purchasing a firearm, take a class with him. There are places that offer classes nearby, but the $25 safety demo offered at a local range is NOT ENOUGH TO SAFELY USE A FIREARM!!!!! Spend the extra money for one of the best instructors around. We would HIGHLY recommend the classes and/or the simulator training. Get the Groupon while you still can, or just pay regular price. It is absolutely worth it! read more

wonderful individuals. they know a great deal about any sort of gun you might be interested in. the prices for guns is very reasonable. but the ammunition is a bit expensive though read more

Purchased my first rifle through this fine establishment. They didn't have what I was looking for in stock but a friendly staff member showed me how to order what I wanted online through the firearms, support & storage website. My rifle was shipped to the store in under 10 days and they notified me the moment it had arrived. Friendly, respectful staff and great prices. I honestly won't be shopping anywhere else. Overall Excellent experience. read more

Don't even bother calling could hardly get my words out and we don't do that attitude probably something that would take an hour make 300 bucks but obviously doesn't need the business read more

After circling the parking lot a few times, we finally gave in & rang to check we were in the right place. They are in the basement and their sign was not visible thanks to a dusting of snow. Our instructor was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with a safety video and some basic instructions, then the fun began. It's a 1 hour simulation using real handguns, but no live ammo. We started with target practice and moved onto scenarios where you had to make a call on whether or not to use your weapon. But of course, the best part was shooting zombies at a wedding reception. What Walking Dead fan hasn't fantasised about that?! Great entertainment! Note: Rating based on the Groupon deal pricing read more

FSS has a very knowledgable and friendly staff. They will walk you through NJ's (overly) complicated laws and processes effortlessly. Jim was very informative and helpful. They just moved locations to Pine Brook and their online services are seemless and easy to navigate. You can order in store or online anywhere. Don't go to RTSP, save yourself the trouble and go to FSS Armory. read more

Great experience and the instructor Jim was the coolest! Came here with my gf to do a one hour shooting simulation and we both loved it. Jim was very knowledgeable and informative every step of the way. I expected to be thrown into a simulation, rushed through it and asked to leave. However the instructor was very patient with us. He took his time in teaching us the various techniques of aiming and holding a weapon, which really helped during the simulation. Through the simulation, a real modified glock is used, so you will feel the weight and kick of the weapon. The place was a little challenging to find, however know its in a small corner next to an Optic Eye Store (forgot the name..lol) and near the "Original Pancake House" . It is at a corner, so make sure to look at the windows rather than the posted store names on top of the plaza. I rarely give 5 stars, but the instructor Jim really made the experience fun and unforgettable. read more

So as a first time gun purchaser I've been to quite a few places and this is hands-down the best I've been to. I've dealt with both Jim and Chris and I can't say enough good things about them. Just very informative and extremely helpful and pleasant. Wish I could say the same about a few of the other places I've been to. They helped make my purchase easy and seamless. I will without a doubt remain a customer of theirs. read more

Not a gun guy, but had two vintage firearms from my Grandfather to sell. FSS was great. They took a look at the firearms and showed me similar vintage items in their (huge) inventory and explained the merits of each, as well as providing some interesting additional info. They made me a very fair offer and made the purchase process smooth and easy. They were congenial and professional, something many other businesses can learn from regardless of their industry. They are in the basement of a strip mall with a nondescript entrance, so it takes a little extra effort to find. FSS is definitely recommended. read more

Used FSS armory in Pinebrook NJ for a transfer, their profile on gunbroker lists the transfer as a flat 65$, I have used them several times in the past and bought a rifle from them. This time they email me the day after the purchase to tell me that because they have that specific firearm on their website that they are increasing the transfer fee from 65 to 100. This is nothing more than the owner being salty a customer found it elsewhere for cheaper. I argued with the owner and he stated that they wont let him put that stipulation in his profile on gunbroker. On top of that, the picture of the firearm in question on their site is an older model with different parts even though the sku# is the same. His excuse was "the pictures arent accurate" and that he has no control over the pictures on his website. that its controlled by his supplier and impossible to keep up to date. He called me petty for not wanting to pay the extra fee. I told him I've given them plenty of business, brought several people to them as first time customers and gotten them sales and he wouldnt budge. Incredibly shortsighted on the part of the owner. I described this situation to 2 other ffl's and many 2a friends and they all agreed what he did was slimy. Until this interaction I had nothing bad to say about them. I will not be going back or recommending them after this, Shame. read more

FSS is hands down the best, second to none! Made a recent online purchase and had it shipped to them, since all local if not most national inventory has been picked clean. Within TEN MINUTES of the UPS delivery confirmation to FSS hitting my inbox , they were calling me to schedule a same-day appointment for the NICS search and to pick it up; that's VIP service to say the least. And this anecdote only pertains to my most recent dealing with FSS, because ALL of my prior transactions and other dealings with Ross, Jim, Chris, etc. have been nothing short of stellar. You'll always receive the best prices and unmatched one-on-one personal service from the highly knowledgeable and experienced staff in this family-owned shop, there's simply no need to look elsewhere. read more

My husband purchased a Groupon for Firearms Support & Storage, LLC for a simulator training session. I never heard of virtual laser training/simulator training, so I wasn't sure what kind of experience I would have. Our Groupon was going to expire, so we went in on Saturday, only to be informed that we needed to make a reservation, but Gary assured us that the expiration date doesn't matter and they'll still accept our Groupon. We made it for 8/14/17. We arrived at 7 p.m. and were greeted at the door. We told the gentlemen that we had a 7 o'clock appt. and he handed us forms to fill out. While we filled out the forms a nice lady came by to ask if we wanted a beverage while we waited. No more than 5 minutes passed by until we walked into a large room with a white screen and two guns waiting for us. The guns are real guns with the same weight and feel, but they are no longer firing live ammunition, but instead now use CO2 cartridges. We had to watch a safety video, and after that we started shooting. I informed our trainer that I had shot a real gun before but I always missed my target. During the session he took the time to tell me what I may have been doing wrong in the past and was so helpful in showing me the accurate way to hold and aim the gun. After that I was either hitting my target, or getting very close. The session was an hour long and we had a great time! The trainer was very funny and personable; he made me feel very comfortable even though I was clueless. The staff as a whole was wonderful and very nice! read more

First time gun buyer and I can't recommend Firearms Support and Storage enough. I was looking to purchase my first pistol and had been looking around for a week at different stores. I traveled 30 minutes to check this place out because of the reviews and had a great experience. Great assistance from staff, no pushy sales, and the best prices and used section I've seen so far. Highly recommend them to any first time gun buyer for a seamless process that doesn't have you questioning if you got a good deal. read more

Doing a lot of traveling this year. Visited FSS on 5/31 to rent a safe locker for my firearms. The place itself as advertised (even better!). Very safe location, a lot of security in place + a climate control. It was a real pleasure working with Gary and Paul who were very professional and friendly. I will highly recommend this place for all gun enthusiasts who needs a short or long offsite storage for their "babies" :) Thank you FSS! read more

Bought a groupon for 1 hour in the training simulator. This basically puts you in a lifetime/virtual reality video game. You shoot a real handgun modified to fire a laser. In real life as well a zombie and old west scenarios. I went with my gf... she loved it as much as I did. the staff is super professional and super nice. I highly recommend this activity to anyone.... and a great first date. its a little tough to find the entrance but well worth the trouble. I will 100% go back. read more

I love this place. We often use the simulator. I use it as the first experience for my nieces and nephews to safely learn about shooting. I have also stored my guns here while I was away on vacation. What a great way to get some piece of mind. Finally their gun shop is excellent. Not only do they have new guns and accessories but they also have used and estate guns. I love this place. read more

Top notch guys, with a great understanding of processing and training. Highly recommended!

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. I am a avid gun collector I brought in 12 rifles to get a price to buy all the guns outright. It took them over a month to come back with a figure and it was a consignment price when I questioned the situation I was was informed it would 50% of the consignment price. I been around the block and bought and sold gun but this price was completely unacceptable. Why would I sell my guns at 25% of there worth!!! The kicker was when I decided not to accept the offer a 150.00 appraisal fee was sprung on me. How underhanded. I paid it cause I wanted my guns back. I will never go back there and strongly recommend that beware of this place. There are plenty of more honest establishment. BEWARE!!!!! read more

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff operating a one of a kind facility. Highly recommended.

The guys at F.S.S. are fantastic, they'll teach you what others don't, better than going just to the range to fire ammo at a piece of paper. They are also extremely helpful when educating people about which firearms to purchase,. etc. I go back there over and over, again! read more

I have been going to FSS for a couple years. They have been been gracious to me with every transaction whether I am buying a firearm from them or transferring one in.
