We purchased the Groupon deal for the one hour training and simulation. As much fun as the simulator was, the best part was the actual training we received from Mark. Owning a gun is a tremendous responsibility, and it is IMPERATIVE that anyone purchasing a firearm should know how to use it PROPERLY. Safety cannot be stressed enough. Mark was very professional, and I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone who owns a firearm, or is considering purchasing a firearm, take a class with him. There are places that offer classes nearby, but the $25 safety demo offered at a local range is NOT ENOUGH TO SAFELY USE A FIREARM!!!!! Spend the extra money for one of the best instructors around. We would HIGHLY recommend the classes and/or the simulator training. Get the Groupon while you still can, or just pay regular price. It is absolutely worth it! read more

After circling the parking lot a few times, we finally gave in & rang to check we were in the right place. They are in the basement and their sign was not visible thanks to a dusting of snow. Our instructor was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with a safety video and some basic instructions, then the fun began. It's a 1 hour simulation using real handguns, but no live ammo. We started with target practice and moved onto scenarios where you had to make a call on whether or not to use your weapon. But of course, the best part was shooting zombies at a wedding reception. Great experience and the instructor Jim was the coolest! Came here with my gf to do a one hour shooting simulation and we both loved it. Jim was very knowledgeable and informative every step of the way. I expected to be thrown into a simulation, rushed through it and asked to leave. However the instructor was very patient with us. He took his time in teaching us the various techniques of aiming and holding a weapon, which really helped during the simulation. Through the simulation, a real modified glock is used, so you will feel the weight and kick of the weapon. The place was a little challenging to find, however know its in a small corner next to an Optic Eye Store (forgot the name..lol) and near the "Original Pancake House" . It is at a corner, so make sure to look at the windows rather than the posted store names on top of the plaza. I rarely give 5 stars, but the instructor Jim really made the experience fun and unforgettable. read more

Used FSS armory in Pinebrook NJ for a transfer, their profile on gunbroker lists the transfer as a flat 65$, I have used them several times in the past and bought a rifle from them. This time they email me the day after the purchase to tell me that because they have that specific firearm on their website that they are increasing the transfer fee from 65 to 100. This is nothing more than the owner being salty a customer found it elsewhere for cheaper. I argued with the owner and he stated that they wont let him put that stipulation in his profile on gunbroker. On top of that, the picture of the firearm in question on their site is an older model with different parts even though the sku# is the same. His excuse was "the pictures arent accurate" and that he has no control over the pictures on his website. that its controlled by his supplier and impossible to keep up to date. He called me petty for not wanting to pay the extra fee. I told him I've given them plenty of business, brought several people to them as first time customers and gotten them sales and he wouldnt budge. Incredibly shortsighted on the part of the owner. I described this situation to 2 other ffl's and many 2a friends and they all agreed what he did was slimy. Until this interaction I had nothing bad to say about them. I will not be going back or recommending them after this, Shame. read more

Not a gun guy, but had two vintage firearms from my Grandfather to sell. FSS was great. They took a look at the firearms and showed me similar vintage items in their (huge) inventory and explained the merits of each, as well as providing some interesting additional info. They made me a very fair offer and made the purchase process smooth and easy. They were congenial and professional, something many other businesses can learn from regardless of their industry. My husband purchased a Groupon for Firearms Support & Storage, LLC for a simulator training session. I never heard of virtual laser training/simulator training, so I wasn't sure what kind of experience I would have. Our Groupon was going to expire, so we went in on Saturday, only to be informed that we needed to make a reservation, but Gary assured us that the expiration date doesn't matter and they'll still accept our Groupon. We made it for 8/14/17. We arrived at 7 p.m. and were greeted at the door. We told the gentlemen that we had a 7 o'clock appt. and he handed us forms to fill out. While we filled out the forms a nice lady came by to ask if we wanted a beverage while we waited. No more than 5 minutes passed by until we walked into a large room with a white screen and two guns waiting for us. The guns are real guns with the same weight and feel, but they are no longer firing live ammunition, but instead now use CO2 cartridges. We had to watch a safety video, and after that we started shooting. I informed our trainer that I had shot a real gun before but I always missed my target. During the session he took the time to tell me what I may have been doing wrong in the past and was so helpful in showing me the accurate way to hold and aim the gun. After that I was either hitting my target, or getting very close. The session was an hour long and we had a great time! The trainer was very funny and personable; he made me feel very comfortable even though I was clueless. The staff as a whole was wonderful and very nice! read more

Bought a groupon for 1 hour in the training simulator. This basically puts you in a lifetime/virtual reality video game. You shoot a real handgun modified to fire a laser. In real life as well a zombie and old west scenarios. I went with my gf... she loved it as much as I did. the staff is super professional and super nice. I highly recommend this activity to anyone.... and a great first date. its a little tough to find the entrance but well worth the trouble. I will 100% go back. read more

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. I am a avid gun collector I brought in 12 rifles to get a price to buy all the guns outright. It took them over a month to come back with a figure and it was a consignment price when I questioned the situation I was was informed it would 50% of the consignment price. I been around the block and bought and sold gun but this price was completely unacceptable. Why would I sell my guns at 25% of there worth!!! The kicker was when I decided not to accept the offer a 150.00 appraisal fee was sprung on me. How underhanded. I paid it cause I wanted my guns back. I will never go back there and strongly recommend that beware of this place. There are plenty of more honest establishment. BEWARE!!!!! read more
