Bought a bow from this local store and was not very impressed by the setup process for a first time hunter. Began having issues with the bow making sounds and brought it back twice to get the issue fixed, only to be sent out the door with the same issue continuing. Best Service Ever! Went in today for the first time initially going to buy some night crawlers. But then after getting some amazing advice and such helpful tips, I got some live bait. The owner Garrett, was awesome! I've been having a difficult time having my bow fixed. I dropped it off near the end is September because the string popped off. Was told there was a problem with the upper cam and the string was showing signs of wear. I have shot the bow a lot the 4 or so years I've owned it. I bought it new. Well 3 months later I still can't use it. Upper cam was replaced under warranty. Not a problem. The problem is that no one knows how to install the new string. The sting goes on but can't pull it back. I don't know what to do now. Garett says he will make it right but doesn't look like I will get to hunt this year. read more

I was looking to buy a new sporting rifle and hand gun. Stopped in and saw Garrett. Always friendly, he said the had some coming in a week and showed me what they looked like as I was unfamiliar with the brand. He told me the price and it was fair. The next week I came in with cash in hand and ready to buy. He was not there, I assume it was his mom who showed me the rifle that had come in. I saw the price and it was $350 higher than what Garrett had quoted me. I told her I was in last week and spoke with Garrett and the price I was quoted. Her reply was "That was last week" What! Over the past three years I have purchased 2 kayaks, 2 bows and all of our fishing gear there and that is the way I get treated. I went right down to Simon Peter and they had much better service. They quoted me a price on a better rifle for the same price. When I came back to buy that rifle it was the same price they quoted me and I bought it there. I bought my handgun at Ramsey Outdoor. Going to buy another rifle there too. Much better prices and service than this place. I hope the extra $$$ you were trying to make on that one rifle are worth a loyal customer and the three other purchases I made elsewhere. I will spend my money at a store that appreciates their customers and not here. read more
