Awesome little gun shop! Was looking around for a replacement barrel for a mossberg 500. Called and spoke to Kevin on the phone who informed me he had one in stock. Drove down, got it, and shot the breeze for a few minutes. Nice to have a small local shop with great people right around the corner. read more

I received an email that my firearm had be delivered and within a few hrs i got a call to come pick it up. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. read more

Neutral on this store. Small store didn't have any of the ammo I was looking for except for the 9mm which was EXTREMELY overpriced. I asked what the blazer 9mm box cost and was told $40. You can purchase at bass pro the same box for $18-20. read more

Bought a bow from this local store and was not very impressed by the setup process for a first time hunter. Began having issues with the bow making sounds and brought it back twice to get the issue fixed, only to be sent out the door with the same issue continuing. Save yourself the trouble and go to Simon Peter right down the road, greater selection and they know their stuff, was able to get my issue fixed up right away. read more

Best Service Ever! Went in today for the first time initially going to buy some night crawlers. But then after getting some amazing advice and such helpful tips, I got some live bait. The owner Garrett, was awesome! He spent so much time making sure I got the correct bait, and how to use everything, and gave me recommendations for fishing spots which helped me catch several bass today! I highly recommended going here if you want someone who knows what they are talking about, and spends their time making sure everyone catches fish! Thanks again Garrett!! read more

Best place around! Friendly staff that will get you anything you want. They wil beat anyone's pricing too.

I've been having a difficult time having my bow fixed. I dropped it off near the end is September because the string popped off. Was told there was a problem with the upper cam and the string was showing signs of wear. I have shot the bow a lot the 4 or so years I've owned it. I bought it new. Well 3 months later I still can't use it. Upper cam was replaced under warranty. Not a problem. The problem is that no one knows how to install the new string. The sting goes on but can't pull it back. I don't know what to do now. Garett says he will make it right but doesn't look like I will get to hunt this year. read more

I was looking to buy a new sporting rifle and hand gun. Stopped in and saw Garrett. Always friendly, he said the had some coming in a week and showed me what they looked like as I was unfamiliar with the brand. He told me the price and it was fair. The next week I came in with cash in hand and ready to buy. He was not there, I assume it was his mom who showed me the rifle that had come in. I saw the price and it was $350 higher than what Garrett had quoted me. I told her I was in last week and spoke with Garrett and the price I was quoted. Her reply was "That was last week" What! Over the past three years I have purchased 2 kayaks, 2 bows and all of our fishing gear there and that is the way I get treated. I went right down to Simon Peter and they had much better service. They quoted me a price on a better rifle for the same price. When I came back to buy that rifle it was the same price they quoted me and I bought it there. I bought my handgun at Ramsey Outdoor. Going to buy another rifle there too. Much better prices and service than this place. I hope the extra $$$ you were trying to make on that one rifle are worth a loyal customer and the three other purchases I made elsewhere. I will spend my money at a store that appreciates their customers and not here. read more

Recently purchased a pistol here. People behind the counter were amazing. Price was great. Plan on going back soon

Love em! Been there, maybe literally, hundreds of times. Always friendly and always willing to lend a hand.

Again have to thank YOJ/ Andover Sporting goods! I recently used my Darton crossbow for the start of fall bow season but didn't get to hunt for long, harvested a doe on private land Sunday 2nd day into season and a decent looking 8 pointer Tuesday 4th day into season. Each deer taken with 1 shot and both expired quickly with the accurate shot from the Darton fireforce crossbow recently repaired at Andover Sporting goods/ YOJ Sports. I was actually back in the store today and brought in my Darton 3900 compound bow to be set up being I have never owned a compound bow before. The bow technician there took his time explained everything about the bow basics and products I was purchasing, how everything works and set me up perfectly! I went there today figuring I would drop off the bow and pick it up in a few days or week like most shops but no he took care of my draw length set up, kisser on string, peep sight, sights, stabilizer, drop away arrow rest and new arrows in a matter of a couple of hours! I also purchased a quiver and bow case. The time which tech spent alone I would value at $150-300 dollars (with out parts) but he was going to charge $50 for his time which he actually discounted at no charge. Let me remind people I travel 1 hour to come to this place and believe me its well worth it. So excited about my new set up as soon as I got to my construction yard I started to take a few shots. First from 10 yards then at 20 yards. The sights were not adjusted yet but I wanted to see if I could get a good group? I'll remind people I haven't shot a compound bow since I was about 12 and now 41 its been awhile. Well with the great explanation of what and how to shoot it and the excellent set up from the tech (who was a pro bow shooter and was actually on the Darton team) my first shots at 10 yards group within an inch and pretty much the same at 20 yards. After a little practice I'll be super accurate. I would have spent hours, days and possibly weeks trying to learn and figure things out when this tech at Andover Sporting goods put the knowledge and product together for me in a couple of hours! Great job recommend this store to everyone you wont be disappointed. And for the record I'm not related or was friends with anyone affiliated with this business. I'm writing that because it might seem I writing a an exaggerated post when in fact just a very happy customer! Thanks again. read more
