From the instructors to fellow members, the atmosphere is just so welcoming and non-judgemental. Becoming a regular and being greeted by name seriously makes my week! My favorite instructors and classes are the following: C2 with Leah - you can tell she puts so much intention behind her flows. She often starts with a brief excerpt at the beginning of class and I'm not sure if she finds them somewhere or writes them herself, but they are always concise and meaningful and her voice is SO soothing. I love her careful and supportive assists throughout class. C2 and yoga sculpt with Payton - her classes are always challenging but in a good way. I feel stronger and more energized afterwards. She gives you time to play and try out more advanced poses. We recently tried flying splits which I would've never attempted on my own! Yoga sculpt with Eliya - Eliya's playlists are always on point! Her classes are challenging and fun. I always get such a great sweat in and I love her vibe. I look forward to her 4:30pm Friday sculpt all week! C2 with Eleanor - Eleanor does a great job queuing poses and helping you make adjustments without even needing to do hands-on assists. Her flows are often really creative and fun. I'm also a big fan of the CSX classes but just don't find as much time in my schedule to give them a go. Kira and Hayden are both great CSX teachers! Beyond the classes and the people, I can confidently say I've seen a transformation in both my practice and my body. I've gotten stronger, more balanced, and grounded as a result. I'm able to do poses and expressions that I used to struggle with and my chaturanga is the strongest it's ever been!

This location is close to where I live, about 10 minutes or so. Checked in and greeted. I was told to wait as the instructor was going to come out to get me......class was 1215. I saw other members go into the room and still nothing for me. So I asked the front desk, do I wait here still? She was like yeah...so a waited a little longer then she finally took me to the back of the room to get my equipment (weights, band, a ball). The instructor for this class was Elizabeth. Music selection was good but it was hard for me to follow or feel like I knew what I was doing. I saw Elizabeth helped other participants out but with me being NEW, I would think the instructor would check in/guide me as well...didn't happen so I just looked at the other women around me for guidance. Upon leaving, I was asked about my experience and told them that I didn't feel like I knew what I was doing; she told me that most folks feel like that and was provided a flyer about their membership that I will NOT be getting (although I was strongly considering membership). I just didn't feel welcomed here as a new participant. Initially was excited but afterwards, I was like nah, I can't use my money for a membership here. But overall, my body felt good.

Jen is really lovely, she is super kind to all clients. This is a trend with CP but the teaching…read moreskills are a bit inconsistent. Some instructors are better with explaining how to do the movements correctly. I really have enjoyed my classes with Taylor and Avery (best music as well). I've taken classes with 5 other instructors as well. Another trend I've noticed is the lack of inclusivity. I've been to other workout studios and there's usually a culture of kindness, here I'll smile at the women and they will literally look at me like or just looking up/down at you... it seems oddly competitive? My other experience as well is one of the instructors kept calling me by the name of the only other Asian girl in the studio, I didn't notice it until midway through class. Lastly I think the cost for 8 classes a month for $200 is a bit steep when looking at Solidcore/Core power yoga unlimited classes are $180 per month. Something to note! I definitely would've kept going if the cost made sense and I could frequent classes with solid instructors.

The classes are challenging yet fun, and I love the 1.5 class format - it's the perfect balance. My only wish is that they offered more Sculpt or high cardio classes, as I tend to lean towards those. They all teach so thoughtfully and put a lot of care into their classes. If this is your first time, like they said, make sure to give yourself 15-minutes so you can find the space and navigate the studio. It isn't too hard to find it but I can imagine if you're in a rush how that can be confusing. The space itself is so clean and beautiful, it makes you want to exercise. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by someone who checks you in and everyone is so kind and helpful! They have lockers at this location in addition to a bathroom. I bought a lot of class credits during their Black Friday sale but once that is used up, I plan on investing in a membership!

Another update! Back to report that the new configuration of spin class downstairs and mat classes…read more(like yoga, barre, and pilates) upstairs works very well. I've been loving Monday night spin classes with Zain - he is an incredible instructor with the best playlists. His class is some of the most fun I've had at a workout class. It feels more like dancing with a group of friends than working out. I bike about 10 miles in his 45 minute class which is something I just never thought I'd be capable of. I've also been enjoying Wednesday evening barre classes upstairs with Erin. This is a new class and I hope they keep it on the schedule! Erin is a great instructor who queues very clearly and makes the class feel fun with her high energy. As someone who primarily weight lifts, barre is such a refreshing challenge for me. I feel like I'm learning a whole new skill set in that class. For a bit, I was also liking the Thursday evening mat pilates class with Chi but they seemed to have taken it off the schedule now :( The weight training areas continue to be conducive for a great workout. My only wish would be that they replace some of the elliptical machines with treadmills. When the gym gets a little busy, it's easy for the treadmills to fill up pretty fast since there's about 8 treadmills total. Whereas, there's probably twice as many ellipticals and I don't think I've ever seen more than a few people using them at a time. I'm also not a huge fan of the fact that you now how to ask the front desk for a towel - this isn't something I've seen at any of the other locations. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and could use some updating as well.

I am writing a review after visiting Solidcore over the years. When I first attended Solidcore…read moreclasses in 2022, I was ENERGIZED, ENTHUSED, and knew my money worth was giving me a solid good workout. And when I attended classes recently I appreciated the welcoming energy of staff and pretty clean environment. But now, in 2026, I see there is room for improvement to maintain a high quality work experience and environment. First, a proper balance between music and instructor voice must be struck so that the participants can hear the instructor clearly (and not muffled) while engaging in an immersive sound experience. I find it concerning that my watch informs me that being in the room for more than 30 minutes can greatly increase risk of hearing loss. I think the soundscape can be restructured to be surrounding without overwhelming. Furthermore, I noticed a significant change in post-class atmosphere. Staff are friendly, but the bathrooms have significantly less hygiene products and this Solidcore doesn't have any showers. Given that this one of the most expensive $ to class ratio in the Baltimore area, I think participants would appreciate their class price or membership price utilized for amenities like a shower or more hygiene products in the bathrooms. I hope to attend a solidcore class soon again with hope of an improved immersive experience and high quality class.

No matter where I've moved, I've always managed to find a studio and I'm so glad to have found BambooMoves in Locust Point! It's more than just a space where I practice yoga - it's a space that helps me reflect on things and take some much needed time for myself. I love the fact that it's walking distance from my home and that it has such a calming vibe. When I start at a new studio, there are always a few things I look for - clean, bright and open space, small class sizes, friendly teachers and the option to practice at my own pace. BambooMoves checks off all those boxes and so much more! Everyone at the studio is so friendly and welcoming and is always encouraging students to listen to their bodies and practice at the pace that feels most comfortable to them. There are classes for all levels as well as classes for people just starting out in their yoga practice. Signing up for a class is super easy as well. If you visit the BambooMoves website, you can access the schedule for the week and can sign up directly on the website. All in all, I highly recommend this studio!
