Forze is not your typical gym. Most places have a front desk, obnoxious sales people who breathe…read moredown your neck the whole time you are taking a tour, and stupid rules. Not Forze! They don't even have a front desk. There is a round table where people can just put their stuff and talk. There are no annoying staff members walking around either. Its very relaxed. There is a fridge with food and drinks inside and you just leave money in a box on the wall. You can also bring friends in with a 5 day pass. Its also open 24 hours so you just let yourself in with your FOB. Since I signed up, Forze has hosted two competitions which is great way for people to come get involved with fitness and check out the gym. That community aspect is something really special that you won't find at a corporate gym. From the time I came in to inquire about a membership, to the time I left with my key FOB, I knew this was a great gym for me. We came here looking for a gym that didn't have that corporate gym vibe and this is just that! The owner is almost always at the gym sitting in the loft or working out or socializing. He is very up front and to the point when it comes to joining the gym but very hospitable and friendly. Forze has everything you can think of from squat racks, deadlift platforms, free weights, climbing ropes, gymnastics rings, TRX, monkey bars, peg boards, all kinds of barbells, a yoke, cardio equipment, kettlebells, medicine balls, personal trainers, resistance equipment, cables, benches, tires and hammers, and more! Whatever kind of training you are into, Forze will have what you need!

Now I'm being told I have to continue paying for a full 12 months. Not cool. I'm a 64 year old woman and just didn't fit into the atmosphere at this gym. And, I was never told there was a mandatory requirement on attendance during the 16 weeks. No one seemed to care if I was there or not until it came time to leave.

I loved this gym initially and have been coming here a long time. Somehow along the way, after some…read moredisappointing experiences with their personal trainers, the vibe has changed. It no longer feels as warm or welcoming, which is unfortunate. It is also too small to really continue serving my needs. Too much wait for equipment, gets very crowded upstairs especially when much of the usable space is being occupied by an obnoxiously loud class. You will get tired of hearing the same music on repeat if you come here often. I suggest earbuds and your own playlists. Also, they recently raised the prices and it just isn't worth it anymore. I recently put in my 30 days for cancelation and my husband will be following suit as he doesn't use it often enough to justify the continued cost.

They would totally get 5 stars from me if they added a hip abductor/adductor machine. As someone trying to grow their hips and glutes, this might be the only reason I'd look elsewhere. Highly recommend Activate Body!…read more I've been training at Activate Body for a month now and love the setup. They offer strength training for all ages, but they specialize in the 50+ age group, which is exactly what I was looking for. The classes are small and intimate, ranging from just 3 to 6 people. Because of the small size, you get a ton of attention from the personal trainers, and sometimes you even end up getting a 1-on-1 session. If you want a gym that gives you personalized guidance without the intimidation of a massive fitness center, this is i

The workouts are also great as it entails cardio and weight training and you can track your calories burned with a heart rate monitor. This location is nice. The staff is friendly, the classes are busy, and the space is a decent size. Like all other OTF's, they charge you $12 for a late cancel (8 hour or less from the start of class). I could understand if the class was full and you did a no show or canceled within the timeframe, and I feel they should adjust their policy to this. Charge the $12 only if a class is full and someone does this. What if you wake up sick and can't go and the class isn't even full? I still get charged $12 for this. That's my one gripe with Orangetheory. They milk more revenue out of you for this even though in most cases it's not a hindrance to them whatsoever.

The fitness equipment is super well curated, with both a great foundation in the essentials/basics, and fun/interesting equipment to keep you engaged.
