Never saw Dr Drourr until a few minutes before my epidural procedure. They only read my mri report and never looked at the actual disk which I found out later. should have been done as that is the practice for most drs doing this kind of procedure. The day of my epidural, Dr. Drourr came in and asked me which side is worse and then basically walked out and said OK I will see you in the procedure room. That was the first and only time I ever saw him. He never asked me any more in-depth questions and performed an epidural on me. The epidural did not work at all. When I went for my follow up appointment, again I was told I needed to meet with the nurse practitioner not the doctor. She suggested I do another epidural. I left and will never go back.

I was charged over $1,000 for an unnecessary 5-minute "test injection" to assess my candidacy for for a knee rhizotomy (nerve deadening) procedure for knee pain. After the procedure, to his credit, Dr. Drourr acknowledged that the test was not medically necessary. It is clearly done because his office attempts to extract the most money from each patient. After much back-and-forth, Dr. Drourr offered to take the original amount off the cost of the full knee rhizotomy procedure. So, on the basis of that I had the procedure done, but only after his office stalked me for pre-payment. I paid $3,600 out of pocket. After the procedure, a physician's assistant called and asked me to rate my pain on a 1 - 10 scale. That was it. She didn't tell me there would be a charge for the "courtesy" call, which took less than 3 minutes! And now I have received a new bill for $432 for that call. Interacting with the office staff there is pointless because they are just interested in getting you to pay. Go elsewhere.

I had the xrays done that very same day, 4/18, and I am still waiting for a call back. I called this morning, 5/12, being told I would get a call back. I have never experienced such a distastrous doctor's office. Dr. Drourr may not be aware of what is going on in his office, and I really wanted him to give me another shot because it worked very well. I'm so disappointed and don't know where to turn.
