They only read my mri report and never looked at the actual disk which I found out later. should have been done as that is the practice for most drs doing this kind of procedure. The day of my epidural, Dr. Drourr came in and asked me which side is worse and then basically walked out and said OK I will see you in the procedure room. That was the first and only time I ever saw him. He never asked me any more in-depth questions and performed an epidural on me. The epidural did not work at all. When I went for my follow up appointment, again I was told I needed to meet with the nurse practitioner not the doctor. She suggested I do another epidural. I left and will never go back.

I was charged over $1,000 for an unnecessary 5-minute "test injection" to assess my candidacy for for a knee rhizotomy (nerve deadening) procedure for knee pain. After the procedure, to his credit, Dr. Drourr acknowledged that the test was not medically necessary. It is clearly done because his office attempts to extract the most money from each patient. After much back-and-forth, Dr. Drourr offered to take the original amount off the cost of the full knee rhizotomy procedure. So, on the basis of that I had the procedure done, but only after his office stalked me for pre-payment. I paid $3,600 out of pocket. After the procedure, a physician's assistant called and asked me to rate my pain on a 1 - 10 scale. That was it. She didn't tell me there would be a charge for the "courtesy" call, which took less than 3 minutes! And now I have received a new bill for $432 for that call. Interacting with the office staff there is pointless because they are just interested in getting you to pay. Go elsewhere.

Dr. Rooufaiel is Pain Management, and Dr. Roque is Primary Care and Sports Medicine. Both are so knowledgeable, caring. They take the time to listen to your concerns and offer excellent recommendations. We both feel that they offer the best advice possible on our multiple conditions. And, they have an excellent staff. What a pleasure to walk into their office and know that you will be treated promptly, and courteously.' In this day and age, that office is truly a ' breath of fresh air '.

My husband has ulcerative colitis, and has been on a biologic medication for years. For those who…read moredo not know, biologic medications cannot have missed doses as the immune system will build tolerance to the med and the medication will no longer work against the disease. We went to the gastro side of the office to get a new prescription as we had just moved to the area. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 11:00am appointment, we were not seen by a doctor until 2:00pm. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand the office can get backed up, but 3 hours late is excessive. I had to ask multiple times after waiting over 2 hours to make sure we would still be seen. The office was completely empty after 12:30pm and we still had to wait over an hour. We were sent a prescription good for a year, the office sent a prior authorization for our insurance for only a month. The office is completely unreachable. After multiple phone calls, I finally got a text that a new prior authorization was sent. The prior authorization was sent to the wrong pharmacy, at this point my husband was 3 days late for his dose... the clock is already ticking as he has 14 days before this medication will not work for him. After calling 6 times, I finally spoke to a representative that sent the prior authorization and called the pharmacy saying I can overnight the medication. We are now at day 10 of a missed dose despite multiple requests for an emergency dose as he now has 4 days left before being unable to take a medication that has worked for YEARS. Anyone that has or understands UC knows that many patients have only 1 or 2 medications work for them. If he is unable to take this medication, he may not have other medications work for him, which can lead to a lifetime (its a lifetime illness!) of illness and serious complications. This is honestly negligence, and we are fearing for my husband's health because a doctor's office cannot coordinate his care. If you are seeking any care, I would stay as far away from this office and seek care elsewhere.

To make an extremely long story short, I had begged for an epidural to find some relief from severe neck/nerve pain for 6+ months with no diagnosis. Dr. Battaglia was rude, unprofessional, and accused me of abusing my own medications, lied about multiple issues & told me there was nothing wrong with me except for 1 thing...he told me in the middle of the lobby in front of everyone that my pain was "self-inflicted" cardiac chest pain and I needed to get my "health in check" because I was killing myself. The next day I was in so much pain and in the back of my mind he had me so paranoid, I ended up making an unnecessary trip to the ER. Every cardiac test, labs, and vital sign was perfectly NORMAL. Eventually, I went to Mayo Clinic, where the physicians actually know what they're doing--I was diagnosed with foraminal stenosis at C3-4 & C6-8, which is extremely debilitating. And the treatment starting out is...a CERVICAL EPIDURAL! And medication for the pain! I just had my epidural and I am starting to feel better after suffering for months. These 5-star reviews are absolutely fake and the 1-star ones are mysteriously hidden to the public--I seriously don't know how this heartless bully still has his license to practice medicine. Please reconsider before seeing him or an establishment that supports this kind behavior and treatment of patients...
