This food truck was at the OCSC game at great park in Irvine on Sat 4/18/26. Fast and friendly service! I got the chicken nuggets and fries box. Great taste all around! The six nuggets were unique in that they were like fried chicken meatballs if I had to explain. The box comes with choice of 3 sauces. Their ketchup is also unique in that it tastes vinegary. I enjoyed it, along with their fry sauce (idk how to explain that taste) and ranch (self explanatory). However, I was disappointed with the quantity of fries. As you can see in the pic, you could see the bottom of the box before even starting to eat. The fries were minimal, which is weird considering that's got to be a cheap item for them and it's in their business name. Food trucks are overpriced to begin with ($17 including tax and small tip), but I at least expected a lot of fries! read more

A food truck conveniently located in the Wal Mart parking lot with a simple menu. We got fries with gourmet sauce ($5) and chili cheese fries ($15). It came in a nice box. They were standard thick cut fries. It was smothered in chile con carne and cheese. Lots of meat and had a hint of sweetness. The fries were fresh. They make their sauces in house. We got to try ketchup and fry sauce. No sugar added. Wasn't a fan of either. Had this vinegar taste. But we loved the fries. read more

We ordered the chili cheese fries from Frylicious at the Sea Country Festival in Laguna Niguel. Despite the busy crowd, our food came out quickly! The sweetest lady was working outside the truck to share their menu and answer questions. I was nervous about the spice level of the chili and she grabbed a taster of the chili for my toddler and I to try before ordering. It was delicious! Frymazing!! I wanted to get some fries with my burger and here they were. They have a simple menu and I loved it. I got some cheese fries, chili cheese fries and an order of nuggies with sweet potato. The owners of the truck are absolute sweet hearts and I am glad I was able to support their business. Interesting info, they make everything themselves. Told me about their process when making the chili and the cheese. The chili is not spicy and has a good tang. The cheese sauce is my favorite. In the parking lot of our garden grove walmart. Very friendly employee, greeted me as I walked up explained their menu and cooking style housemade sauces. 6 minutes from order to food. Chicken nuggets were good. Real chunks of chicken meat. They did have a little too much breading to chicken ratio. But still tasted good, though, one of the pieces was a little too cooked. I would love to write a review and try your food but your van and your website do not list allergens. FAQ lists the it is gluten reduced, but does not tell us which items are made without gluten ingredients. Additionally, "no added gluten" does not rule out naturally occuring gluten in thickeners, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, some ketchups, some vinegars, barley malt, some yeast extracts, etc. By all means prepare your food anyway you like, but let us know the ingredients so we can decide if we can try it or not. read more

Frylicious stopped by our community tonight, and I'm so glad I gave them a try! I had the Chili Cheese Hot Dog and the Chicken Nuggets & Fries -- and both were amazing. The hot dog was perfect: not greasy, but also not dry. You can tell they make it in-house, and it really makes a difference. Everything they serve is clearly made fresh with care. My son -- who is an extremely picky eater -- actually enjoyed their fries, which says a lot! YOU GOTTA FIND THIS TRUCK! I was at a brewery event in OC and the Frylicious truck was there. I am not usually a fried food guy but WOW, the food was fantastic! The chicken nuggets were flavorful and juicy inside and nicely crisp on the outside and both the regular and sweet potato fries were great. What was really surprising was the flavorful sauces (3 come with) that are included. Fry sauce, BBQ were unique and even the ketchup was different (secret recipe?) Super friendly kids on the truck and even the owner was out walking around in the crowd. I saw some chili dogs that people were enjoying as well. And an added benefit is the great box it is all served in, just like a lap top table to go. Let's get more of these trucks out there! read more

I'm a total sucker for anything chili, so I had to try the chili cheese fries and dog. They were absolutely delicious! You can tell the chili is made from scratch--it's rich, flavorful, and so satisfying. I definitely recommend it if you're a chili lover like me. Also, Eric was incredibly kind and welcoming. The customer service was great, and the food truck is super clean and nicely kept. Such a great experience all around! Hands down beats all other fry and tender experiences. I go to a lot of events and have had countless chili's, fries, tenders. This place puts quality to all these and more on a different standard. To say this is a unique concept is an understatement. Frylicious is a totally different experience for the Food Truck market/industry. Their ingredients are fresh and the food tastes amazing. From the fries, to the chili, tator tots and nuggets, (just to list a few) they have something for everyone. If you're a sauce lover, you will LOVE this. It was a work event, so I don't know what they charge for the items (We were just allowed to order from the menu), but just from a taste-perspective, it was pretty darn good. I tried just about everything they had on our list... Potato tacos, Brussels sprouts Steak quesadilla Seared ahi taco The items were small, but I ordered more than once. In the most recent incident, I ordered a chicken burrito at the food truck with no cheese because of a dairy allergy. The request was very clear and they even repeated it back. Imagine my surprise when I got home to find a burrito full of cheese. When we returned to explain and get the order remade, there was no apology or sympathy - in fact, we were made to feel like the inconvenience! They literally opened up each burrito to check for cheese as if we were lying. It was made clear that this was an allergy, and in no world would I drive all the way back to get an order corrected if there wasn't actually an issue. Luckily I was ok in this instance, but it's this kind of negligence that can send people to the hospital. Will not order anything here again.

Early communication was strong--Chris was excited about the booking, attentive, and responsive. He promptly returned my calls after I texted, and after we confirmed the date and time, he requested a $150 deposit via Venmo, which I paid. As the event date approached, communication broke down. Texts went unanswered. About one week before the event, Chris finally called to say his truck had been in an accident and that the booking was "up in the air." He asked for a few more days to try to make it work and said he would call with an update. He never did. With 70 people expecting food and no reliable confirmation, I could not risk going without a vendor. I texted him to cancel and requested a refund of the $150 deposit. Chris replied the next day asking for more time; I explained that was not possible because I needed to secure a replacement immediately. Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up texts and emails requesting the Venmo refund. There has been no response and no refund. I was ultimately able to book another food truck for the event. While the initial interactions were professional, the lack of follow-through after the reported accident, the failure to provide a timely update, and the ongoing refusal to return the deposit left me scrambling one week out and out $150 with no service provided. I've also seen claims that Chris has supposedly "found God" and is in a much better place than he was in the past. It's hard to reconcile that with keeping a customer's deposit and then ignoring repeated requests for a refund. Finding God and refusing to return money you didn't earn don't go together. I cannot recommend Taste Collective / Chef Chris Tzorin for events that require dependable communication and clear financial accountability.
