Medium size park with playground, basketball court, baseball backstop. NO RESTROOMS. Typical neighborhood park with access to Eslava Creek for fishing. Three or four benches & trashcans, most in the shade, under Southern Live Oaks with Spanish Moss, one near playground, one near basketball court. Playground has a swingset, slides, monkey bars. There is a drinking fountain. No parking lot, but there is a gravel vehicle access road that leads near the creek if you want to fish, or you could park on the residential streets surrounding the park. This park is wooded, a little swampy & marshy near the creek in the rear. Two large grassy areas for baseball or soccer, however, both were muddy because of summer storm season. My dog liked the park. Would be nice if this park had restrooms or a port-a-potty. FYI, there is a burned, abandoned, condemned house directly next to the park. Part of the park extends in the back behind three or four homes, it is a wooded area, but the clearing was a little muddy. If you are in that area, no one can see you there from the road. read more
