There are walking trails that go through the woods, an off-leash dog area, and multiple mixed-use sportsball/athletic fields. On hot days, the splash pad area is the place to be, making for a safe space for kids and families to cool off and enjoy the sun. The frisbee disc golf course is one of the real hooks to the park, nicely laid out and maintained, and providing differing levels of challenge. Public restrooms are all around, the playground and splash pad area have soft landing spots, and it is generally well lit and safe all through the park. There are even several canopy areas with tables, allowing for picnics or other gathering use and mostly just to get out of the Alabama sun. Get out and enjoy the greenspace, Mobile, it's a beautiful place.

There is a small gymnasium for gymnastics in the MAWSS water tower. Parking is decent, but I have never visited on game days. ALOT of people walking and running. Park is open from dawn to dusk like all other parks in Mobile. The playground is the best of all the parks in my opinion. It is fairly busy, but not so much that would make you visit elsewhere.

There are several pavilions, a children's play area, and more. I enjoyed just walking this park and along the pier just across the street. I also noticed that they had a lot of metal arch-type structures just before the pavilions that stated "PAVILIONS" throughout the property. I was talking to a client about it the next day, and he told me the shipping yard donated them to the community. This made sense to me. Pascagoula has a huge shipping manufacturer in their town. Obviously, this park was pretty popular to the community. The place had a lot of people just hanging out and enjoying being alive in the moment. Everything from a family enjoying the evening and a pizza, to joggers and dogwalkers to teenagers just hanging out were taking advantage of Pascagoula Beach Park. If business returns me to Pascagoula, Mississippi again, I would definitely return here. If life in general finds you in Pascagoula, Mississippi, I would recommend that you come check this cool place out. I will give it five stars.

Because it is right in the middle of a very large neighborhood a lot of people just walked to the dog park. But there are parking lots at either end. The dog park is just a big fenced-off Square except for the fact that they brought the fence line in and around the two big trees that should be inside the dog park. But on both sides they literally took the fence line in about 10-12 ft and then back out so that the tree was on the outside of the dog park? Because trees are scary to dogs like that? There is a very nice water feature and a poop bag dispenser and trash can. There's also a very nice light post right in the middle of a dog park as well as a couple benches for you to sit on. But other than that there's nothing but wide open space for your puppy to run and enjoy itself

This would be an awesome place to stop if you are traveling with dogs and kids. There is only one dog Park for both small and large dogs, very clean. The playground equipment appears new. Single basketball court, four tennis courts, football field, baseball field. There are bleachers, restrooms, and a concession stand at the baseball and football fields. Two parking lots, one by dog park, one by football & baseball field. FYI THIS PARK IS DIRECTLY NEXT TO MAGNOLIA CEMETERY, WHICH EXPLAINS WHY IT IS SO QUIET & SECLUDED. That is the only negative thing I can say about the park, the Cemetary, but other then that this park is fantastic.

The parks has a small playground at the front of the park, older metal play equipment & a swing set near the rear of park. The parking lot is small, can accommodate between 6-12 vehicles. Four metal picnic tables with BBQ pits in the shade of Southern Live Oak Trees & Long Leaf Pines. There are also some Bald Cypress Trees & shrubs along one side near the fence. There is a wooden pavilion with two metal picnic tables & three electrical plug ins. A concrete sidewalk encircles the interior perimeter of the park. One older basketball court. There are no drinking fountains, no water faucets, & no restrooms at this park. There is litter throughout the park because there are no trashcans, either. If you plan on spending an afternoon here, I recommend bring wet wipes & your own water, plus packing out your own trash. There is a small, shallow pond at the rear of the park beyond the older playground equipment. Directly behind this small pond is a much larger pond/ lake with ducks & fish. I am not sure if that pond is part of the park, the church cemetery, or the cotton farmer's property on the other side of the park. I saw zero signs posted, but it looks like a good spot to fish. I saw very few vehicles driving along Tom Waller Road where you enter Community Park. I saw no people. I did see a low flying crop duster plane, that is all. But this looks like a great spot out in the country where no one will bother you.
