Mangoooooooooooo where have u been all my life!?!?
    Adriana T.

Me LUB these fruit cups!!!! The portions are HUGE!!! The prices fluctuate $1-2 depending on the fruit and season. I don't know the lady's name but she's super sweet! She always calls me "pequeña" which is a term of endearment, means "little girl". I usually get all mango, she asks if u like your mango ripe or not. I get mine with ALL the fixings Tajín, lime, chamoy, and tapatío (my mouth is watering as I am writing this lol) so they ask what you would like on it, you have to be specific. It takes a few mins Bc they are made to order and there's usually at least one person in line every time I've come. I've also had the "Raspado de tamarindo"-tamarind snow-cone., Made with real tamarind and also made to order. This was yummy as well. but the mango are to die for!!! I've bought the kids the fruit mix which is mango, watermelon, jicama and they go to town! It usually takes me atleast 2 sittings to finish and I have to be hungry So price fluctuation is totally worth it!!!

This is the place to come for fresh fruit cups. There's almost always a verity of fruits available for your choosing with the toppings and as much or little heat as you want. Summer time is a high season so be prepared to wait and hope she doesn't run out of what you like. They also have radpados and agua de coco. Tajin or chamoi, you choose how to top it off.

Delicious, mouthwatering, and refreshing fruit cups are the best, especially on a hot day. You get to customize your own fruit cup: I always opt for a large fruit cup (or in a bag) with cantaloupe, coconut, oranges, cucumber, jicama, watermelon, pineapple, mangoes, I prefer my fresh fruits drenched in chilli sauce, pico de gallo seasoning and freshly squeezed lemon/lime juice. It gives a great contrast of spicy/hot and sweet/tangy. $5 for a large cup of fresh fruits!

Honestly it's about a 4.5 - and only because they don't have any refried beans as a side. For me…read morethe side dishes really accentuate the food, but if you're looking for tacos, this is one of the best! The meat is juicy and tasty. The tortillas are homemade. And the portions are bigger than most places that serve street tacos. I wish I could review more than the tacos and maybe one day I will, but the tacos are SO good, it's hard not to order them over and over. FOOD: Tacos!!! Homemade tortillas!!! I'm a sucker for a good homemade tortilla and these are GOOD. But more than that the selection of meats are tasty. The chicken was the weakest of them, but even that was good. It's just the al pastor was GREAT and the carne asada oh so tasty. SERVICE: Terrific. Packaged well, service is friendly and helpful, portions are nicely sized, and you will definitely go home happy. They make everything to order so it does take a little bit of time, but still wonderfully good. COST: Very reasonable for what you get. Very reasonable.

I have only tried their quesabirria special and it keeps me coming back. You get these gooey cheesy tacos and all these toppings, plus consommé, which is super tasty, and a free drink for all of $10. The lady is so nice and the wait is not long. This truck is now one of my go to's spots. Even though they are right on the street the cars passing by its not even loud or dusty, people even stop on the street to pick up or you see people in their cars enjoying the consommé.

The tacos are better than expected here. Three tacos and a Coke was $12 and change. The big plus, a…read morebig plus really, is it's located at the same plaza as an Asian drinking spot. Every few blocks on this stretch of Alum Rock Avenue has a similar setup: A truck/food stand for mainly to-go orders with very limited seatings. A regular taco is two small soft tortillas with your choice of grilled meats. You then have to add toppings and condiments at a garnishes station. Let convenience be your deciding factor then.

I used to frequent another taco truck in…read moreESSJ but I'm usually not in that area anymore so I've been searching for a late night taco option closer to me. Damian's is located inside a plaza on Alum Rock and should be easy to spot. There's a cart stocked with cilantros, onions, limes, salsas, jalapeños, and grilled onions that you can add onto your tacos, as well as ketchup and mustard for your hot dogs. Their tacos are $2.50 each with the exception of Lengua which is $3. They also offer bacon wrapped hot dogs for $4. We tried.. Pastor - This one was okay. Not bad but nothing special. Chuleta - I've never heard of this until now, but it's smoked pork chops. It tasted like bacon and was surprisingly good. Would recommend. Tripa - I didn't have any, but the boyfriend said it's the best tripa tacos he's had. Most places don't offer tripa, and the places that do offer it cook it a little too crispy. He said this one was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. Would recommend. Cabeza - This is my favorite taco meat and they did not disappoint. Soft, juicy, tender. Would recommend. Lengua - Their lengua obviously has been braised for a long time. Most lengua is a little chewy but this one melts in your mouth. Unfortunately we prefer our lengua with a slight chew but this was still good depending on your preference. So tldr: Would recommend the cabeza and tripa tacos, and give the chuleta tacos a try if you like bacon. They're cash only so be sure to bring cash.

Cool photo ops and art on display, DJ playing lively music. Parking horrific in this plaza, the event space small and crowded AF, lack of variety of food options (some of the listed vendors and eateries not even on site), numerous food stands with items sold out and crossed off on the menus three hours before closing time on Saturday. I did pick up a sweet and delicious chocolate chip cookie from Browned Butter Babe before leaving, but overall I was not impressed with this event.

There was a dj playing music. I heard some Justin Bieber while standing in line for food. Food was so good and my favorite was thai tea in a bag. So worth it and great price. It was authentic and stronger than a Thai tea I had at another food market I went to. Menus were hard to see at night, but I was surprised and happy with the bun baos which was hot and juicy. $16 for 2. Highly suggest grabbing a Nha sunset drink. I saw lots of people walking around with an orange drink with their brand on it. It's so popular. They had 2 other drinks, but their shop said it was sold out. I have noticed that parking was difficult. I think in general my bf said that Grand Century Mall/aka Vietnam Town is busy. We parked more on the side of the night market instead of the entrance to the mall. Walk was short to the night market. Fun night with bf and my sister.
