Whatever you need they are willing to pull for you. They also have "Deals of the Day" . I found lots of deals today; grapes, mangoes, strawberries, kiwis, spinach, honeycrisp apples and watermelons. I cut the cold watermelon when I got home and it has to be the sweetest one I have had anywhere all summer! The beautiful cauliflower (shown in pic) is from a previous haul. If you consume a lot of fruit and vegetables like we do, do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and shop here. I always do. **Today when I visited, I saw they added fans, a beautiful wood seat bench to wait and design slats. **. Thank you for this!!! I % recommend.

You can order online and choose your time for pick up so they can bring it out to your car. You could also go and stand in line and someone will come out with a list of items available. We bought a case of avocados, mangoes, and blueberries. About $19 per person for three of us and we divided three. Even divided by three, I still ended up with about 16 mangoes, about 30 avocados, and five blueberry containers. They take cash or credit. Everyone is very nice. Parking is available on site.

This place is full of different vendors peddling eggs, fruits and vegetables. As you approach the gate, there is a guy who asks you what you're looking for. I had heard eggs were available so that's what I went for first. He directed me to Lozano's, which was to the left back part of the area. They were limiting each person to 60 eggs for $10 (carton of 30 eggs). They had potato (80 cents), carrots (30 cents), tomatoes (70 cents), and zucchini (80 cents) by the pound. Corn was 25 cents/ear. Avocados and celery were 50 cents each. I headed to Solano Produce to see what they had and I saw that they were selling eggs. 15 dozens for $48. An angel helped me and told me that he had bought 15 dozens for $40. I drove to the left side 13 and 14 where Bluebird Produce is. They had eggs but had to wait. I asked if they had fruits and they gave me a box. There was a cooler full of various fruits and vegetables. Fill the box up and weigh the whole thing. Fruits were limited to apples and oranges. They had lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, avocados, yellow pepper and so much more. My box weighed 26 pounds and they charged $25. The eggs went from $40 to $45. I wasn't too happy with that sudden change but sucked it up to buy it anyway. I knew my extended family and neighbors could probably use them. I would go back but would probably shop around more to compare prices. Difficult times shouldn't be an opportunity to take advantage of people.

Pearl Farmers Market is one of my favorite weekend activities!…read more This farmers market has been going on for a couple of years and it just keeps getting bigger and better with each year. On Saturdays they host more of the classic "farmers market" where you can find local produces from around the area. However, on Sundays they host a "makers market" where is mainly produce and stuff made by amazing local businesses. The market has grown so much in the last couple of years that now truly covers the entire outdoor space of The Pearl. For the summer they changed their hours and markets start at 9am and I believe in winter they will move it back to 10am. They also host a couple evening markets on the weekdays for those looking to stay out of the heat. This market is always such a great time and it is very family and pet-friendly! Make sure to check them out on an upcoming weekend.

The bakery and cheese sections are equally impressive. I mean honestly, so is the meat section and the fish section and the bulk section and the coffee and the floral.... You get the point. You can certainly get lost in browsing and thought in these stores. I like to pop in to the bakery for the fruit tart. It's so beautiful that I like to pick one up to take as a hostess gift whenever I'm invited to a gathering nearby. It impresses and is delicious. If you don't want to pick up food as a gift, check out the deliciously scented candles. You can't walk away empty handed. Also, don't snooze on the gelato station. They offer yummy flavors.

What makes it stand out from the other HEB stores is the prepared foods and a couple of food booths that you can find in the store. I usually visit H-E-B Central marketplace, to purchase some of my Christmas sides and entrées. They also have the delicious pies at H-E-B sells but with some twists. For example, one of their fruit pies is in four different fruit selections. Service, of course, is up to Heb standards so spectacular and this one has the Christmas feel for me. The prices are a bit higher than another HEB, but the selection is different, as well. This makes it ideal for trying to find items that might not be sold in other HEBs.
