Emma brand pasta starting at $2.29. Kraft BBQ sauce at $1.99. Their produce can be high or low depending on the market. I find their apples and oranges at the front are usually a bargain and sometimes their bananas too. They usually bring in fresh fruits and vegetables from the Fraser Valley and Oakanagan when it is in season. Very friendly staff and good selection of produce. Also kudos for always clearing your sidewalk and parking lot when it snows!

I walked in and was surprised at the prices and the freshness of its produce. I highly recommend shopping here. The staff and customers here are super nice as well. The parking can be a bit chaotic. The prices are generally very good. The owner is very friendly and can help you find items or figure out what something is used for. They have a lot of items you won't commonly find at a supermarket.

It's Bestie's absolute favourite and we do a lot of grocery shopping together, and 2. Their produce is some of the most beautiful! Seriously, take a walk by the front on any given day and you'll see a plethora of gorgeous greens. Local kale, chard, butter lettuce, you name it, it's there in all its leafy glory. They also have a good fruit selection, usually, so don't miss that. The dry goods are often quite pricey, I find, but no pricier than any other small store. I tend to shop around to find the best prices (easy when there are four stores in a two block radius!) So sometimes I buy random bits and pieces here, and sometimes I don't. I'd recommend it as somewhere to keep an eye out for, they've got great veggies, and some decent deals now and again.

I sometimes also find the crowd of people declaring "Oh, Manuka honey, so reasonably priced!" at Whole Foods while they pay hundreds of dollars for groceries you could buy for half the price at somewhere like Triple A quite exhausting. At Triple A, you can waltz right in because it's rarely busy, and go exploring on the shelves in the back right corner for all of your heart's desires. Hemp hearts, steel-cut oats, chia seeds, quinoa, bee pollen, and a vast assortment of delicious Asian foods that are hard to find at stores like Super-Valu. They also have an exciting selection of frozen meats, including kangaroo and buffalo burgers. Also, if you check out the coolers on the far right-hand side of the store, you'll find all sorts of cheese for excellent prices. Their organic produce is very reasonably priced, and they usually have a good local selection as well. If you live anywhere near Commercial Drive, or even if you don't, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Other than that, you can be assured to be able to find lots of ube-flavoured snacks (my absolute favourite) and unique ingredients, especially in the frozen section.

Liked what I saw -- they had a wide selection of offerings, and I thought all were nicely-displayed. My visit was short, but while there, I did purchase some fresh, and good-looking eggplants. Before purchasing, I sought some advice from one of the staff -- she was very helpful, and the information received re: varieties, possible cooking methods, and such, was sure appreciated. I enjoyed my first, but much too brief encounter with the Rose Supermarket -- I'll plan to do better when there the next time.
