Lots of fun dessert options and plenty of comfortable couches to eat and hang out. I loved the peach gelato the most it is so tasty!

I've been to probably one to many fro-yo shops, and this has got to be the best! Not only is the place immaculately decorated in every inch of space , the selection of fro-yo , gelato , teas, cereals, and toppings is crazy. I could come here everyday for a month and have a new flavor to try ( not exaggerating .) Although I could rave about how delicious all the froyo and toppings were, I think the real thing that makes this place a gem is the atmosphere / seating . This is a PERFECT spot to take your laptop and books to get a treat and do some homework . Since I go to a&m and have no where to really study when back home, this will be my new go to! ( sorry mochas and Java's , step yuh game up!)

This place was a nice stop after pizza. One hell of a cheat night. Frozen yogurt and gelato. Typical soft serve fro yo with toppings and you pay based on weight. I went with gelato in a delicious waffle cone. Weird risky combo of one scoop of pistachio and one of cookies n cream. Risk paid off. It was awesome. Delicious. Solid. Interior is clean and a mix of cool and sterile. One area has a bunch if games you can play, like Jenga and Chinese checkers. This would be cool if the Jenga wasn't a cheap knockoff with non-uniform blocks that instantly becomes frustrating. Plus missing pieces. Chinese checkers were also missing marbles. So games went from "Ooooo yay!" to a disappointed "Awwww crap." They also have bubble / boba tea, which isn't my thing. Overall very good product. I'd stop here again... and I wouldn't attempt any games. :)

This is definitely the best frozen yogurt in San Marcos. The price is by the weight, and it's good for what you get. The froyo flavors are pretty diverse, although most frozen yogurt places I go to back in Houston change their flavors pretty often - not Frozen Cave! Maybe they'll change out one or two flavors but for the most part, they're pretty static. They have an amazing variety of toppings, ranging from brownie bites to mochi to chocolate chips to 10 or 12 different types of name brand cereals for you to try. My go-to is hazelnut, strawberry, and New York cheesecake. Amazing. They also have boba tea, but it's not that great here. I've ordered taro a few times and haven't been wow'd by it like I have been with their frozen yogurt. They also have smoothies, milkshakes, gelato, and a waffle bar. Really cool place for someone who wants options! The interior itself is a great place to come and hang out with friends or family; they have a selection of games as well. I usually come here with friends on a school night if we want to avoid our responsibilities, so pretty often. Oh, and the people who work here & the guy who own this place are SO sweet. They're really patient and helpful! Also, heads up, there's almost always a deal on the app Hooked for this place :-)

Serve fountain. About to lose my religion on some cheesecake froyo

I know many Austinites have an undying loyalty to a local ice cream chain but it simply does not compare to Gelato Paradiso (unless you're my husband and can't get enough of Mexican vanilla). The pistachio gelato is intensely nutty, perfectly smooth, and easily my favorite. The raspberry is a close second - packed with fruity flavor and the texture is somehow thick n creamy despite being a sorbet. It'll be hard for me to peel away from these two options, but samples of the dark chocolate and salted caramel were also so good. Ask for two flavors if you can't decide, the servers are happy to help. Not a ton of seating/standing options but there are benches right outside. Love the little window that lets us peek into the kitchen where the magic is made. Shoutout Baldinucci Pizza Romana forever and ever for introducing me to the wonderful Gelato Paradiso! Will be back for lots more this summer!

Super creamy and they had so many flavor options. I got the chocolate and strawberry dairy free. My husband got vanilla and our nephew got cookies and cream. They all loved theirs. I got the small and it was still such a good portion. However they didn't offer us to sign up for rewards and we spend over $30 on ice cream. They said they couldn't use that purchase towards points so that was a bummer. Otherwise a great time and will be back! It's so delish.

Gelatoro is located in Hyde Park on 45th street (faces this direction) not Duval Road as the address implies. There is a small Gelato sign on Duval street, which ironically is on the side of Gelatoro. The building houses both Juiceland and Gelatoro. I purchased a non-dairy lemon and strawberry gelato (two of four dairy-free options). The gelato was refreshing and tasty simultaneously. Gelatoro features house-made gelato with rotating flavors and fan favorites including chocolate, blueberry chip, and strawberry. Their coffee and espresso options offerings may also include affogatos for a sugar rush. Bakery treats include cookies, bars and candy treats including Dubai chocolate. The cashier was very friendly offering me several samples needed for me to make my final selection. There is a small amount of free parking available to customers for Gelatoro. In addition, the gelato is reasonably priced. In general, gelato is better for you than ice cream and more dense. A nice treat for a sizzling hot day in Austin, TX...
