My 15 year old car was due for an oil change and service. I always took it to the dealer for…read moreservice since new without any problems until recently. I won't go into the details but after the last visit to the dealer I won't be going back there again. Now I had to find a reliable repair shop. I used to do oil changes and the like myself but my days of rolling around on the garage floor are long gone. I had a coupon so I made an appointment at a major chain for Monday morning. That turned out to be a total waste of time, literally. I sat in the waiting room for 90 minutes while my car sat in the same space I parked it in when I got there. I finally gave up and left. Needless to say, I won't be going back there again either. So, I decided to try Bob's, the local repair shop right here in Lawrenceville. I had a couple of flat tires repaired at Bob's over the years and I don't know why I didn't just go there in the first place! Maybe because my wife suggested it and I hate it when she's always right! :( :D I stopped in to Bob's on the way home that same morning and we made an appointment for Wednesday morning. I brought my car in on time and went home to have breakfast. I got a call a little over an hour later saying my car was ready and headed back over to Bob's. The oil change was done right, all the fluids were checked and topped off, and I didn't have to wait all day. Bob's price was very fair, I didn't need a coupon, and the convenience was priceless! Bob and Wayne were friendly and professional. My car is running great! I'll be bringing my car back to Bob's again the next time I need service or repairs.

I have had my Honda Pilot Services here a couple of times a year for basic stuff many years ago…read morewhen Dave was the owner. The experience has been consistent up until last year. My guess is Dave is fishing somewhere in Florida. Oil changes, tires and batteries even a mouse that got clobbered in the AC fan (yeah that happened in Philly). Prices were always good and the customer service excellent up until my last service. I had a radiator replacement in 2018 and needed inspection and it was like bizzaro-world the last time. This is a mechanic business right? So a couple of basic things: 1. Commit to complete the job at a specific time and date and deliver on that commitment. 2. Don't explain how busy you are and not be able to figure out when the job will be done. 3. No matter what please do call the customer if you commit to complete the job the same day and cannot, for whatever reason. 4. Free oil change next time is rarely ever a remediation for whatever inconvenience customer has experienced. 5. When customer calls the next day expecting answers on when the car will be ready don't ask the customer when would they would like to get the car if you already missed agreed time and it's still not done. Clearly it's not about when the customer wants it. 6. When unhooking the battery please do connect backup battery to not lose driving data for emissions test and radio code. (Yes I have the radio code) Then tell me to come back tomorrow for the inspection after driving it for 100 miles. 7. Don't leave the backup battery in the back of clients vehicle. Yes the one you didn't use in 6 above. The two most positive things I can say is the job was done finally and the car is running fine. That and the price was competitive! If it wasn't for these two points it would be 2 stars.

My truck broke down on Rt 287 near Bridgewater. I looked on NTTSbreakdown.com who the nearest tow truck company was and it was Bauer Automotive Truck Service. I asked them if they had the time to take my truck (which had empty trailers behind it) to the FedEx terminal in Edison and then 1 mile to leave my truck in the FedEx yard. The total mile from their shop to the FedEx yard was 39 miles. To make a long story short they charged me $2317 for the tow, which is obscene. I asked the owner Mike how he could possibly charge this amount to a small operator and he laughed it off. Do yourself a favor and don't ever use this company. They are a major rip off and I will be writing my next email to the BBB.

I'm going to keep this review short and sweet…read more I have bought a few cars in my day and we all know that feeling of anxiety and annoyance when getting ready to go car shopping. Just the thought of the whole process, all the people you have to deal with, and the typical frustrations in the negotiations can make you want to just keep your current car another year. Well, to my surprise, the whole experience from start to finish was beyond my expectations at Douglas Infiniti. From the greeting when I walked in, to the straight forward but extremely nice and professional demeanor of Carey, in to the finalizing of things with Chris in finance, the team went above and beyond to make everything smooth and simple. Overall my dealings with the team was fantastic and Carey was awesome. The dealership has the process down and while keeping everything to the point, still has great customer experience and remains client and service focused. Thanks for the new wheels!

I am writing this on behalf of my sister. I would never suggest anyone going here to purchase a…read morevehicle, especially not if you are a female and you are alone. This place is the definition of a bad car dealership. You couldn't pay me to go here for a vehicle.. My sister had fallen on some hard times she had been laid off from her job, but recently purchased a used preowned Jeep from the dealership. I had a bad feeling about it from the day she said she was going to purchase it. Add to that as soon as she picked it up she realized that the air-conditioning did not work and they wanted to charge her $1800 to fix it meanwhile all it needed was Freon. Anyway, they gave my sister a different jeep to use while hers was sitting somewhere. I don't know the whole story but all I do know is that she apparently had missed a payment and they began to harass her relentlessly. I've never seen anything like that in my life. They basically lured her back into the dealership to tell her that they needed the other vehicle back, but that they would do everything in their power to help her keep her car. The guy's name was Matt. He's the finance manager and he's really just a disaster and a liar. Once my sister was there, they basically harassed her and told her that the loan company had kept calling them to cancel the loan because they claimed she did not have car insurance my sister is all of 85 pounds soaking wet they tormented this poor girl to the point that when she went outside into the original car that she had gotten from them, she couldn't drive. She called me hysterical on FaceTime and I had to use my entire lunch hour to try to calm her down, but the worst part of it was she turned the phone so that I could see it and Matt and the original salesman just stood there, staring at her, just letting her cry in her car, a female, a tiny little female, all alone, crying like that terrified out of her mind as they said that they would have the police come to make an escort to remove the car that was unnecessary to do to her. This is why women should never go to car dealerships alone because these supposed men prey upon women. I truly hope that Matt has a daughter and that one day she gets treated like this the way they treated her was unnecessary. The woman is going through enough. Do you not think she was mortified having to go there and say she couldn't afford the payment yet oh and by the way, they actually were mailed the check on June 27 from another family member to pay so technically she wasn't even behind. I would never ever recommend this place. I don't even understand how they're in business with all the negative reviews that they have.
