This place is not customer friendly. I picked out and placed a ceramic pug item on the counter for purchase . Another customer had taken a picture of it and texted to her sister who thought it looked "enough like her bulldogs" for her birthday. My husband watched this woman come over to our counter and pick up the pug and place with her purchases. She claimed she thought I picked up for her!! I said no. I picked it up for me. She screamed "now I don't have anything for my sister's birthday. "Why don't you pick out a BULLDOG for your sister's bulldogs. " I told her. They refused to sell me the only pug in stock. Sense when does taking a picture constitute ownership or even a claim?? Will NOT be returning to this business. read more

I think they're a bit overpriced, but I think part of that is tourist pricing. There is A LOT of stuff inside the store. Like... WAY more than I had imagined or even thought possible to cram into one place. It has a kitchy feel to it. There is a lot of stuff that only tourists would by, but there is a really fantastic selection of plants and planters and yard art. I really love the look of the yard and plant items. I get the feeling that whoever cares for the plants really loves what they do. I could very easily spend a lot of money here. read more

I was ready to buy a $319 fountain but they would not sell it to me because it was not "categorized" yet and wouldn't be until next Friday! I tried to explain that I was leaving tomorrow to head home and that I'm sure the majority of their customers are tourist. I was told she didn't need a lecture from me. Very rude. NOT customer friendly. They'd rather let cash paying customers walk out the door. read more

I love this place We have been going to them since they were in Mexico beach What we love is that they are family owned. Love the mother and daughter. They are so incredibly nice. Gotta love a place who brings their dog to work We come here every year and stop by .. never leaving empty handed because of their great inventory I got some gardening tools last time that I am In love with My only complaint is I think they have too much inventory now. I would give this five stars; it really is a unique and wonderful gift shop with beautiful plants and pottery and Mexican imports plus jewelry and various bobbles and beads but I'm knocking off a couple stars for no restroom: we stopped at the end of a long day and made a pretty significant purchase ($75 !) and we were so impressed we made a point to come back the next morning No recognition from the young woman who we had chatted quite a bit with the night before After a $200 purchase we were told "no" we can't use the restroom and no mention of the public facilities nearby which would have at least been helpful not good business etiquette -I won't be back read more

Not happy at all we pulled in there to look at some pottery At 5:42 PM they do not close until 6 PM I got asked repeatedly why we were eating in the parking lot it doesn't matter we were there to look at pottery they were open till 6 PM and I've never seen people so belligerent on trying to get us off their property I don't understand this at all this is America we are free and if you're an open business you should be welcoming people in your parking lot. Not a happy camper. These people have to understand that restaurants will not let people come in right now and what is wrong with eating in a parking lot I told him when he came out immediately that we wanted to come in and look at some pottery and he wasn't happy I think both of the people were owners and they were so Determined for us not to be there never felt so uncomfortable in my life. Fabulous selection of plants & pottery. I bought a couple of tiny aloes from here 2 years ago that are now humongous & thriving. Prices seem surprisingly low for the area. Gift shop inside seems loaded with stuff, but I was in a hurry, & had my dog with me, so didn't get to stay long enough to browse. read more
