I put in Yelp inquiry to have a repair done on my ice maker. Dmitrii responded quickly and was up front about any service charge. He is very competitively priced. I appreciated his being honest about not being able to service my model. In the past I've had company's come out to tell me they couldn't work on my appliance.. something they could have done remotely... and then charge me for the visit. I'm rating a 2 only because I don't know what their actual work is like but I was slightly upset with Frost Fix when I had an emergency need to get a refrigerator fixed and I had called upon Frost Fix and another company. The original company I asked said they could not be there till Saturday (a day later) and if they wanted to get to the parts store that they would need to go to the parts store that day (Friday) to make sure they got the right parts. I then said I'm going to shop around and I'll call you back. I called Frost Fix at around 9am on Friday telling them I needed the refrigerator fixed, they asked me my address and number and then they gave me a time frame for THAT day Friday 4-6pm! I was relieved because that means I could get the refrigerator fixed same day! Well come 5pm I call Frost Fix and ask "Hey just checking on a time you would arrive?" And they stated that the location was way to far and they would not be coming out there. So at that point I had wasted the whole day and I could no longer call the other company to come Saturday since they were booked up at that point. I guess my point is, if you say you will be at a place please be there. When a customer shops around they are looking at a few things, timing, price, and quality of work. When you say you will be at a place you need to really make sure you can make it. Because there are other companies in the area that a person can call and if you state to a customer you will be there, they expect you to do so. Please just be more vigilant about that in the future. I cannot comment on the craftsmanship or quality of this companies work though. read more

We have been having issues with our LG refrigerator for a couple of years. In the past we went online and got an "approved" LG repairman from the LG website, but they never could solve the issues. This time we called Frost Fix, they fixed the problem, changed out all our filters (for some reason the "official" LG repair people could not change filters.) I think LG does not employ or certify their listed official repair offices- I think to get on the LG approved list the repair staff just needs to give a kick back to LG for the referral - a cost they obviously passed on to us (the customer) because Frost Fix did a better job at a lower cost. Also, another thing Frost Fix did that the authorized LG repairmen did not , 1) Frost fix found the root cause of why our refrigerator was having so many issues, the new power outlet our home contractor had installed two years ago was not properly installed, it was shorting (he showed us the scorched wires) 2) A few days after the job, Frost Fix called back and ask if everything was still okay. I received an immediate reply upon my request for service to repair my dryer. Andrew was able to diagnose the issue then quickly and efficiently repair my dryer for a fair price. In addition, my washing machine was malfunctioning and giving error codes.
