Who has two thumbs (and two trigger fingers) and going firearm shooting during lunch hour? *point…read moreto self* This guy over here! Let me tell ya, when you have a very stressful day since 5 AM, without a proper cup of morning joe, it can be quite a stress relief to shoot off a round, or two, or three... of 9mm or .22. Actually, I think I'm one of the few that's allowed in the back shooting range, since I know someone who know someone who runs the place :) Even without the familiarity, the cool and helpful folks here keep this place nice and orderly. If you have a small scale store, that carry dangerous merchandises such as rifles and guns (and pink taser and pink mace) you will definitely have to run a tidy shop. I also give two thumbs up to the knowledge of firearms and ammo. You would never figure by the dingily look from outside. No offense. They also run conceal firearm training course here, with reasonable price, and possible rib lunch on your lucky day! P.S. Sorry, no photos! but trust me, you'll feel all giggly once you step inside, like I did.

I haven't tried their shooting range but I did buy a handgun from here a couple months ago and enjoyed my experience. I even sold a few 1911's here and got what I was asking for them making the process pretty painless and enjoyable. Prices seem to be a little better than most other gun stores around my area so I don't mind the drive. The store is pretty much fully stocked with all kinds of firearms and I have recommended the place to a few of my buddies. The online store is great and easy to navigate but I haven't ordered anything offline yet. Overall I would definitely recommend this gun store to anyone, I look forward to going back whenever I decide what I want to add to my collection.

I don't know who told this guy he knows anything about firearms...but I'm glad they told him (if he…read moredidn't already know) because he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I've taken a 'concealed carry class' before...so i understand most of the concepts and standards. Yet, its amazing how a very experienced and skilled individual can shed new light on even the basics. Jason did that! He gave the facts on legality and what kind of behavior is expected of someone who expects to have the privilege of carrying a concealed pistol, but he also gave life to the discussion by providing details on much more including things like the difference between 'single action' and 'double action' revolvers. Yah, its not like it's a secret, but thanks to Jason...there are a few more knowledgeable people about to enter the guild of CCW protectors here in NC. Of course there's a practical portion of the class with target shooting. And once again, i feel like Jason went above and beyond either his instruction. He actually EDUCATED us about how to hold our firearms and how to squeeze the trigger in order to shoot accurately. He cares enough to train people well, and anyone would appreciate that. There are a LOT of options when looking for this mandatory class, but I'm glad i chose to spend my money with Liberty Defense.

I come to Caiptol at least once a month for target practice. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is plentiful. Love the dedication and assistance from every employee I have encountered to date.

At the two week mark I called for a status update on a Saturday and was told no update was available and to call back when the gunsmith was present during a weekday. I called again the following week during regular business hours and was informed the gunsmith was still unavailable. No status was provided and I was told I would be contacted when the work was complete. After zero communication or updates from them, I visited the store on December 19, one month after drop off. The manager stated the gunsmith was reportedly sick prior and they were backed up. He also stated there were no notes in the system, no visibility into the work queue, no confirmation of the firearm's location or status, and no estimated completion date. The only guidance provided was that I would be called when the work was done. It could be 2 days it could be another month. I will not conduct further business with Capital Range and Firearms and at this point hope they ultimately complete the work or locate my Glock. Delays happen, but it is completely unacceptable to have no visibility into the status of gunsmithing work and no revised timeline to provide to customers. Drew Davis
