Just an initial review for Can Do Crew Plumbing and Heating…read more I needed a new garbage disposal installed and kitchen sink seal redo. Eric arrived on-time and stated something is wrong with your sink and it appears it has to be remounted. He stated Daniel does this work for us and is one of our plumbers. Daniel took a look this week and gave me a fair estimate for repairs. In addition to the sink, he found a leak on the cold water side of the faucet. The people here at Can Do are all excellent. Daniel, Eric, and Tyler did their estimates and plumbing work this week and the next day I met Renee and Christian that repaired the dry wall area where repairs were made to fix the water leak. Daniel will fix the sink next week. This team of people are all very personable, and competent. You can tell they like working for this company and they have exceeded my expectations. Thank you Can Do for a job well done! Best, Jeff

My mother of 86 years old, called Roto-Rooter of Bakersfield because of an alert from the water…read morecompany, due to high usage. Two technicians responded and within 45 minutes of the visit, a half inch valve for a garden hose was replaced, which resolved the leak. She was charged $700 and offered a $75 rebate for the service call. Upon discovery of the outrageous cost of such a simple discovery and repair of the leaky valve, I contacted Roto-Rooter, and was told that my concern would be discussed with a representative who would be more qualified to address my concern. That never happened. I'm going to follow up further with intent, on principal alone, to see to it that this sort of business model become exposed for what it is. Our elderly, need to be served with integrity and dignity, especially when the service technician is not under the scrutiny of a mindful witness. This business practice is shameful. Away goes your money, down the drain- RotoRooter

Simply put, Daniel Gonzales is an enormous asset to Roto-Rooter and a consummate professional in…read morehis work. He is friendly and direct, and he approached our problem thoughtfully and carefully, with transparent advice and pricing as he quoted our options (and the eventual upgrade we chose based on a well-informed decision). Daniel arrived at our house to clear a grease-clogged drain. We've had a regular plumber augur the drain before, but the clearance didn't last, so this time we called on Roto-Rooter. We explained the history and what we'd already tried, and we asked questions when Daniel told us about probable issues below and our most-likely solutions for a long-term fix. While he saved us hundreds of dollars after testing our disposal and explaining why it was probably not due for replacement yet, he also carefully described the difference between auguring (pushing out a solid clog, or sometimes dragging it back up out of the drain line) and Hydro-Jetting (blasting out grease that has glued itself to the walls of the drain pipe over time). In the end, we chose the Hydro-Jet and its associated warranty period; while much more expensive than a simple augur service, the difference after cleaning is profound! Daniel's lengthy, careful process pushed an enormous pile of grease chunks out of the drain (he said the white pieces we saw so much of were likely many years old, even from the previous owners of this house), which we carefully swept into a bag for proper disposal (see attached photos from before we swept them up). Once he made it all the way down the line, and the water finally started to flow out the usual channels again, he also ran a camera through the drain to ensure that he'd gotten everything. We could see such an improvement, and it's been performing smoothly ever since. Only four stars for the company's hefty pricing, but a full five stars for Daniel's extraordinary service!
