I came in today struggling to decide on a color after already doing a few samples. She listened to me, helped me compare two colors in various lights, and ultimately land on one. She also was extremely hospitable, offering coffee and then when she noticed me looking for creamer, brought some options out for me to use. She was so friendly and wonderful that I felt compelled to write this review. This is what customer service is all about and she even went above and beyond. This store is lucky to have her!

I also appreciate that they market themselves as a "Mercantile" and not an "antique store," as many "antique stores" sell a bunch of non-antiques which is frustrating, so I'm grateful for the straightforward and clear marketing! The tea room in the back is super cute, there'll be a separate review for that. I found a couple of darling things for good prices that I'm very excited for, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see several staff members roaming the store, with one kind woman offering to hold our items up front while we shop! Everything I said about this place in my previous review, still rings true but they do have a lot of clothing that older women find appealing. So we found a beautiful smock blouse, long and floaty in a nice bright red and we brought it up to the counter. It was $160 plus with tax and all the girl did was wad up in a ball and stuff in a bag , but she even had to ask if we wanted a bag. Really these people don't care about what they're selling behind the counter I was appalled Do we want a bag? Did you think we were gonna wear it out? And what of the merchants there wouldn't they appreciate having their stock treated a little bit better with a little bit more respect.?
