After being recommended by family we booked a service appointment using the online booking tool. On…read morearrival we were told there are no appointment times sharing the midday period and we'd have to wait for almost 40 minutes until techs were available. We appreciate lunch hours, however, why allow customer to book during this period if there's actually no work done during it? The website needs to be more clear about what times are drop and wait and what times are just drop off. We were told by family that previous costs for a particular service package were x. Our finals cost for the same package was much more than that for the same service level. Theres was an additional charge for oil over and above the package limits. The previous Ford dealership didn't charge that suggesting perhaps one didn't use the correct amount of oil or perhaps one charged for oil not actually used? We were supposed to receive an inspection report showing wear limits on tires and brakes. We never received any of that from this dealership. The inconsistency between Ford dealerships, the large variance in price for the same service package, the lack of reports, the appointment booking issues all combine to leave a very poor initial impression. We received a Ford Customer Service Survey which we filled out. To date we've received zero response from the dealership.

On October 15th I purchased my vehicle from the General Sales Manager named Brandon. Upon delivery,…read moreI was given all the paperwork ex. safety, car-fax, etc. Two days later, I noticed that the trucks breaks were bad. I visited my mechanic and he inspects it. I need breaks, rotors, serpentine belt, wheel alignment, and a screw in the front tire. Over a period of two weeks and numerous of phone calls not being returned to me and many visits, Brandon finally agreed to fix the truck. Three days later, I pick up my vehicle. I start my truck up, the belt is still squealing away. I checked the belt, cracks are visible and not replaced. I go back inside, Brandon is not working. I inform another manager, he tells me to take it up with Brandon. Three weeks later I get the belt done as well as throttle body in the emissions system (truck died after the belt was replaced). $2600 in repairs later all needed to pass a safety, which was covered by the dealer I finally got my truck back over a month and a half. Would you be happy if this was you? Ps: I finally picked up a second ownership at the dealership, they had to do a lost ownership (mine is lost in the mail with all my info).

Latch in Pathfinder 2014 is malfunction for almost 2 years and its getting worst with every season. As per Nissan statement to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in a document that it does not yet have a fix for the problem but advice customers to try clean and lubricate -HOOD LATCH if problem persist contact Nissan dealer. As per Nissan letter if vehicle experiences issues with hood lock assembly and or secondary latch Nissan dealer will replace lock assembly. As per advice we booked appointment with service at Parkway Nissan of Stoney Creek, in order to complete recall, we had to take off day off work, drive 25 km and back home from Waterdown and wait 3 hours to work to be completed. We were in shocked learning that genius technician had diagnose our problem as sticking release cable and gratefully spray with W-40 or other lubricant latch and lock mechanism and we were offered service for changing hood release cable for total of 276.83 $ Technician identified as ACHR who completed his task (spray w40) and diagnose release cable to be replace must be a genius and should be awarded by Nissan as per Nissan statement as he discovers root cause of issue "Nissan told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in a document that it does not yet have a fix for the problem" and changing latch is temporary solution, preventing accident s to happen, most likely permanent as their gathering more information" As in our Case secondary latch does not hold the hood closed, as designed, while the vehicle is in motion, the hood may open without warning and obstruct the driver's forward view, increasing the risk of crash., risking injury and death. This how Nissan is committed to the safety and security of their customers and their passenger Just for your information Vehicle was inspected by independent auto shop and it was clear that lock\latch assembly is faulty
