Due to a pipe leak and resulting mold under our entire downstairs wooden flooring, we had to remediate the mold problem, replace the wood flooring, kitchen island & cabinets, re-route the underground piping, repair sheetrock, re-route the electrical wiring, replace the fireplace, as well as a host of other construction repairs. I don't know what we would have done without Rodney's assessment and planning skills. Rodney's knowledge, expertise, and due diligence insured the appropriate scheduling and co-ordination of multiple disparate construction disciplines and subcontractor specialists that were required to perform all the various construction trade activities. His professionalism, great attention to detail, and taking control to make sure everything was done correctly was key to completing the project in a timely and quality manner. Rodney communicated and kept us in the loop during all aspects of the planning and implementation of the work. These days reputable, accountable Contractors that you can trust are hard to find. I don't think you could find a more qualified, ethical, and responsible contractor than Rodney Meyers. I strongly recommend Rodney Meyers. You will look back after your project is completed and know you made the right decision to contract with Kirby Taylor Homes.

I've lived in my house since 2014. My husband and I wanted to update our master bathroom so we had…read moreGulf Coast Builders redo everything -- shower, floors, vanity, toilet, paint. There was nothing wrong with our bathroom before, it was just outdated. They did a decent job, but now we're noticing mold growing all over the cabinets. We've never had a mold problem before. Mold is growing under the sink, in the drawers, it's especially growing on the pieces of wood where it's been cut and the edges are rough. We told Mark about it, he came out and said maybe the cabinets are sealing too well so he put cushions on the cabinet doors and drawers. He also re caulked the sinks, and put on wall penetration covers. He took moisture readings behind the vanity and said it was saturated with water and proceeded to cut a huge hole in our hallway. Upon inspecting all the pipes, there was no sign of any leaks. We didn't do anything different in the bathroom, but there I was having to scrub mold off my new bathroom cabinets. The only thing that has changed in the last 7 years of having this house is the new bathroom cabinets that we had Gulf Coast Builders build and install, and now there is mold. Now Mark wants $350 for repairing the hole he cut in my wall. We didn't ask him to cut the hole in the wall, and he didn't tell us beforehand that he was going to charge us $350 to repair. Now he's not responding to us since we told him we shouldn't have to pay for the wall damage he created. We've called and texted him and no reply. Attached are all my moldy pictures and the big hole in my wall. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Shout out to Adam Pias and All Covered Roofing. They were replacing roofs in my area. I asked if…read morethey could inspect mine. I was leery they would find multiple issues since it was the original roof and 20 yrs old. I was hesitant to mention I had heard some noise in the attic. I was really concerned of a potential opening to allow squirrels etc. to enter. The roof was inspected the following day. No damage warranting shingle replacement was noted . No potential entry sites. He later examined the remainder of the house looking at openings around the soffits. He did notice a small leak under the front porch ceiling . Further examination revealed a loose shingle which he repaired. While the roof does not need to be replaced at this time, the professionalism and honesty of this gentleman who represented All Covered Roofing speaks volumes. Just a few days prior to his arrival another roofer had posted info about unscrupulous practices of roofing companies on FB in my subdivision. I was prepared for all the tricks. I was thrilled to interact with someone who was honest and had integrity. When the roof needs to be replaced , this company will definitely be on the call list. Again your honesty about my roofing needs were greatly appreciated !!
