This one star is for the water damage claim I had to file (and which just closed) against Front Range Drains and all the hardship that went along with it. One year ago, Ryan connected our water line to a new fridge incorrectly. Water leaked for several days before we noticed the kitchen floor buckling. All of the floor in my kitchen, dining room, and foyer had to be torn out, as did some of the kitchen cabinetry. A loud humidifier was brought in for a number of days, and mold testing was performed. I have three things to say: 1) your home is never quite the same after an event like this, 2) I'm damn glad I had insurance and some savings, and 3) drain specialists are different from plumbers. Ryan is not a licensed plumber. His apprentice plumber license expired in 2008. I take issue with the fact that his business is categorized as "plumbing" on Yelp and other platforms, and he doesn't bother to correct people when they refer to him as a plumber in their reviews. Ryan repaired my clogged toilet fast. Under 10 minutes for sure. And this is after I bought a toilet auger and tried myself. Found my glasses I requested quotes from five different plumbers on yelp. Front range drains was the lowest quote. When it came time to pay the bill (they take cards and no problems w the card reader) I was CHARGED LESS THAN THE QUOTE. Just call. Quickly identified the problem and located the flow restrictor that was the root cause. By quickly, I'm talking about just a couple of minutes. Adjusted the flow restrictor and tested the result. Then confirmed with a pressure meter attached at the location furthest from the water coming into the house. All for the cost of the minimum visit charge. Amazing.
