The overall process quickly became problematic, costly, poorly managed, and they sell you on 'scare' tactics with no honesty. After removing a toilet for a camera inspection revealed a blockage possibly caused by a branch, we were quoted $7,800 for replacement. Under pressure and uneducated in the world of plumbing, we agreed to a "discounted" $6,800 rate and immediate start. The crew immediately dug about 15 feet down to access the pipe to replace, hitting our underground electric AND the well water line. This could have been avoided with proper utility flagging and communication, which was never done, and is illegal come to find out! Compounding the issue, we later learned from a second opinion (Dan's Drains & Diggs) that the same job could have been done using a trenchless liner system with zero landscaping damage. That company also identified a missed cleanout and septic access point, that Mr Rooter completely overlooked - there was no need to remove a toilet in the 1st place and could have unclogged the drain using this access point. What's more concerning is that Zach initially said our remaining line to the house looked fine, only to later push a $4,500 CIPP lining add-on for just 4 more feet--raising the total to over $11,000. No evidence of old 'Orangeburg' pipe was shown to us, and we now question whether that additional replacement was even necessary, or actually, any of the work! We had to bring in our own well company to properly repair the water and electrical lines they damaged! Our yard, railroad ties, underground electrical cord, and landscaping retaining wall has been left in need of major damage with quotes over 10k to repair, creating water drainage / flooding issues, at our expense. The tree next to the retaining wall now has root damage, and might have to be removed too. I will report them to the BBB and any other entities for their shoddy services. PLEASE do your homework and read these 1 star reviews before you are soon writing your own 1 star review. And watch how they reply to my review (they might say 'We don't recognize your name in our system'..or 'We cannot find your address in our system'..WOW...how can I make this up?? One Source Home Service installed a brand-new AC and furnace for me in April 2025. About a year…read morelater, the AC stopped cooling and was only blowing room-temperature air. Since March, they have sent five (5!) different technicians, and none of them were able to properly diagnose or fix the issue. I then paid another HVAC company, L&L Heating & Air, $99 to evaluate the system. They found that my one-year-old Goodman A2L system was leaking refrigerant at the TXV because a torque nut had been left loose by the original installer. They also noted that the A2L safety sensor was disconnected and said it needed to be reconnected, torqued to spec, and the system recharged. For a system this new, that is unacceptable and raised a serious safety concern for my family. On top of that, One Source told me they could not find my records in their system even though this is the same email address they used to send my estimate and invoice. Based on my experience, I do not recommend One Source if you value competent installation, safety, and timely service. I expect reimbursement of my $99 diagnostic fee and a proper permanent resolution.

On July 24, 2026 my hot water tank went out. I had no idea who to call. I called on Elite Rooter…read moreto replace it. I just went into Google and picked one. Big mistake. I was given a quote by the district manager. There was a six year warranty on the 50 gallon for $3200 and the other was $4200 on a 10 year warranty water heater. I chose the six year warranty; the cheaper one. Even though that is extremely expensive. I had to sign on the district managers phone. I did not see anything before I signed. I did make a copy of the initial invoice they emailed me after signing the transaction. About a week later I get a new invoice from California. They had charged me $125 for the six year warranty. I have called them about 10 times. They always told me they would call me back. They never did call me back,almost calling daily and promising each time to call me back. The one lady I called that was supposed to be over the district manager from California was extremely rude and unpleasant. She said I didn't understand, but kept saying I had signed something so I was liable I remember now that I didn't see anything except a telephone to sign my name on. I have proof of the initial invoice without the $125 charge. I told her if the district manager says he told me about $125 fee for the six year warranty that he was lying,and so was she. She hung up on me. Very poor customer service. The district manager did tell the truth. But they're still charging me the $125 for a six year warranty that I understood , as did the district manager, that it just came with I don't think the guys that installed it knew exactly what they were doing. They had to reinstall the expansion tank on top of the water heater. They had put it in the wrong place. They also did not know what temperature the dial settings were; although they were nice. I have spent weeks on this trying to get information and $125 taken off for a warranty that should've come with it. The district manager did not even know there was an additional fee for the six year warranty. When the district manager quoted me a price the evening I signEd to have it installed should be the exact correct price. They should remove the charge and still give me the warranty as it was their mistake. They are expensive, rude, very poor customer and never kept their word on calling me back.
