I needed a plumber asap and was super happy that Pro Power Rooter was the first to respond. He came out after hours, was super upfront about pricing from a low to high end, best to worst case scenario. He was professional, knowledgeable and worked quickly to clear the main drain line. I highly recommend and will absolutely call again if needed! read more

Wow, if I could give Mark 10 stars I would! He was professional, he was quick, honest and kept his promised price. He also gave us free advice for a few other issues we were having. I will call him for all my plumbing jobs. Thank you for coming out on Sunday night and fixing our toilet and for such a fair price. read more

This guy is a crook... he arrived late, not prepared when he arrived, wasted 30 minutes cleaning tools, took his time stalling so he could charge the max. Only texts...no written receipt. A complete crook and jerk. He pretended to know everything about septic systems but knows NOTHING! He charged me over $700 for 2.5 Hrs. He ripped me off. read more

Will always recommend pro power rooter..Mark is amazing. We had a huge block that took hours before if finally cleared. He didn't try to tell us we had to do a lot of work and have it cleaned once a month or anything. He recommended a foaming root killer we can get at a store. Very grateful he was here till midnight read more

I've used Mark twice to unplug a toilet. He does a great, through job. He got me in both times at the beginning/end of the day and got the job done. He's personable and get the job done fast. I would use home again and recommend him highly. read more

Great quality, great price. Mark was haven sent! Came out to my house after 11:30pm. Very professional! Definitely will recommend to family and friends. read more

Mark came out Sunday night after dinner time to clear my blocked sewer line. He was professional and worked very hard to fix my problem while keeping me informed about what he was doing. Great results at a reasonable cost. read more

I really wanted to use them the next time I needed a rooter for our rental properties in Colorado Springs so I kept them in my phone. I texted the number I had saved and got someone telling me he couldn't do it and that I should check reviews and do research on qualified plumbers. Freaking bizarre. Maybe they were just having a tough day, I will try again some other time. read more

We've used Mark twice now and he has been great both times. He gets the job done and is reasonable with his prices. He had to stay late at another job and reached out to let us know before hand. He made it to our house at 930, but still charged regular day time rates. He's a good guy who makes sure to get the entire job done and gave us recommendations on how to follow up and minimize future back ups. Highly recommend Mark to anyone who needs help. read more

I highly highly recommend them! My sink drain was clogged and somehow connected to where my washer drained as well so every time we would run the water it would flood my laundry room. I left a voicemail at almost 8pm and he got back to me really quick offering his service that same night. I did postpone for the next night and he was on time and very efficient. Got the job done in about an hour I would say and the price was affordable! read more

Mark came after hours and kept looking for the leak once he found it he didn't take long to fix it.

Top notch service from Mark the owner. This guy works his keister off, and then some! In under an hour Mark had removed my toilet, unclogged a mainline pipe, reinstalled the toilet, and was out the door. Service prices are NOT high and you get an honest estimate on the planned course of action. Highly recommended above all over. read more

Pro Power Rooter - Plumbing Near Me - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Bottom line: for any future drain/sewer issues, I'll be calling Mark at Pro Power Rooter. If you like all the dirty details, read on: The great: same day service by the owner, and it appears he does all or at least most of the work, so you know WHO will be coming and what to expect. He specializes in drain/sewer cleaning, so he doesn't have the incentive to upsell you more expensive unnecessary work! When i researched he has an A- BBB rating (the minus only due to length of time in operation). The good: made quick work of my kitchen sink problem. He was concerned about rolling dirty equipment through my carpeted areas. The meh: I didn't discuss prices at all until it was time to pay because it appeared to be pretty standard work and I wasn't concerned about it. I was charged $140 for cleaning the kitchen drain with a 100' 1/2" cable. I was told I would get a 10% discount because he had to change times on me which ended up being 14.2% and was actually charged $120. seems great, and I'm willing to bet this is cheaper than I would have got from, say, roto-rooter. (I never got as far as getting quotes from other places) So why is this in the meh section? I feel pricing is usually most people's main concern, particularly that you almost never know in advance what something will cost and you feel helpless because you know you can't do it yourself and it needs to be done. This is the best way businesses of this type could differentiate themselves. I found out later that the website quotes a price of sewer mainline cleaning by removing a toilet (which we had discussed due to my concerns about my main line, and he said that uses a different, i'll assume larger machine and clearly would be a much crappier job - both literally and figuratively) this price was $125? So, now I'm wondering if this was a situation where you get a "discount" but the price is raised to compensate? Then I also found a new customer discount which wasn't discussed (maybe that's the extra 4.2% discount i received?) . I also now see a yelp discount that I wasn't aware of... upsetting? not exactly. My judgement call here is none of this pricing questions were intentional. I think it's probably hard to handle all aspects of a business while also doing the actual work. It's not about the $30ish dollars, and if I missed out on discounts or even was given too high a price, I'll chalk that up as a tip on this job. But that's how you get that 5th star, because "as good as it gets" would be completely transparent pricing. Just to re-iterate , I'm guessing if you shop around this is still a very good deal, and if you found one for better, Mark will likely beat that price too. And at the end of the day you REALLY don't want someone to come tell you you need to unnecessarily replace your sewer main, which my situation would have been ripe for, but Mark said from the beginning that it didn't appear I had a sewer main problem. read more

Mark saved our night! My friends and I are first time homeowners so finding a leaking PT valve and water damage was extremely distressing. Especially at 11:30 pm at night. I called five other "24 hour emergency" plumbers and none could come until the am or even a week later. Additionally they also refused to give quotes. We needed it fixed now due to the water damage and increased leaking causing mold/constant container dumping. He was here within an hour and had it fixed/ready to go in less then an hour. He also gave an honest quote and it was one flat charge. No hidden fees or trickery. I used to have family members help me so moving from them was hard and I know I can count on mark now. I was also uncomfortable having someone in my home late as someone who usually has family help with maintenance but mark was friendly and I will 100% be contacting him again for all home plumbing needs and such. read more

On 8/22/16 Mark came to my rental property after the hot water supply line to my washer failed and flooded my basement. It was his last job of the day after what Im sure was a long day. He showed up around 8:30pm, and stayed until the job was done which was close to midnight replacing the connections to both the hot and cold water. Thanks mark for the help. Went and ahead and put the same review on google as well, thanks for the great job. read more

Mark was great! Friendly and he even showed me how to replace some parts while he was at it. Fast service... Took only 45 mins!

I cannot recommend Mark Clark and ProPowerRooter enough; he actually deserves more than 5 stars! We had a sewage line blockage and he came out on a Sunday night at 9 pm. Because of poor system design and being an older home, he ended up working all night. He stayed with the problem and kept trying different strategies and finally got the line cleared. I think most professionals would have given up. Again, it was a very poorly designed system and having no yard access to the line that caused it to be such a lengthy job. But he stayed with the job until it was cleared and working well. To say he went above and beyond a usual job, is an understatement! He worked with us on the price since it ended up being such a lengthy job. The price was more than fair! I highly recommend Mark at ProPowerRooter! read more

terrible service didn't come out when he was supposed to the next day didn't show up till late then he kept upping the price that he quoted basically pulled a bait & switch on us and was using foul language the whole time . FIND SOMEONE ELSE !!!! read more

Always does a great job! Fast, friendly and reliable

Very impressed with the service I received!! We called on Good Friday (Friday night before Easter) at 4:15 so I knew our chances of getting service before everything closed was slim. I knew we'd probably end up with an "emergency" visit. I had tried one or two other companies before stumbling across this company on yelp (still have not heard back from the others...annoying). When I called pro power rooter I heard back within maybe twenty minutes or so and was told he could be at the house that evening. He came at 10:30pm in good spirits and repaired our clogged and leaking sink. I had some trouble with the sink two days later and he was happy to help me trouble shoot the problem over text. My husband ended up fixing the problem which was completely unrelated to the original problem. Overall really happy customer. Happy I have someone reliable in case we ever have any major plumbing issues no matter what time of day!! read more

We had an issue in our master bedroom which ended up causing us to turn off our water. It was about 1am at this point. I ended up calling one other company that wanted to charge us $65 to even come look at the problem the next day. My wife stumbled upon yelp, and chose this company based on the reviews! When she called he texted right back and offered to come at 2 am , and charged us only $50 for the night emergency visit . We explained our issue and he gave us an honest & fair rate for coming at 2 am in the morning! He was swift, great workmanship, and really honest. Thanks to the plumber that came to our house we were finally able to take a shower an hour later, and given great advice how to avoid the issue from happening again. He is our go to guy for all our bathroom needs and extremely afforable without lacking quality of work. read more

I called Pro Power Rooter today after our sewer backed up into the basement. I called two other companies and Mark was the only one that answered the phone and was able to get here quickly. He was very friendly, professional and very efficient. He got right to work clearing the clog and had it completed quickly. He was very neat and conscientious. The price was very fair, especially for coming out late in the evening with no notice. I would highly recommend Mark and Pro Power Rooter to anyone and would call again if needed in the future! read more

I called numerous plumbers and none were available on a Sunday morning. Mark answered my call and got the job done. Excellent work, reliable , dependable and I highly recommend him. read more

The ratings for this company are well deserved. Mark is the man, definitely knows what he is talking about and listens to the customer. He told me about all his fees up front and got me scheduled right away and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in just over an hour and although I think the prices plumbers charge are outrageous I'm guessing he's more affordable. The only thing I didnt care for was the $45 upcharge(he said it's normally $75) just to go into the crawlspace even though the repair did not take place there. He said he worked with me on the pricing but with never really needing a plumber ever before this... I wouldnt know for sure. The only other thing I didnt care for was the 20% upcharge to use a credit card or check. Good thing I had some cash available. Other than that Mark was very professional and couteous and insisted his prices are cheaper than others. He definitely did a 1000% better job than the first plumber that came out before him. If you would like to know which plumber to avoid please check my review on the other company that I cant mention in this review. read more

I have hired Pro Power Rooter now for several years and have always gotten Mark. He is so nice to work with. He is friendly honest and hard working. I would not even consider hiring anyone else to clean my main sewer line. Before I found Mark I had several run ins with other companies they seemed only willing to work easy jobs take their pay. He always works hard and clears the line while maintaining fair prices. I would recommend Pro Power Rooter to anyone. If you are looking for a excellent plumber to clear your main line take my word for it give mark a try you wont be dissapointed. read more

I had both kitchen sinks half full of water and floating debris as a result of the drain clogging. I called Mark about 11:30 am and left a message. I wasn't sure he would get back to me that day,but he did. He texted me a time frame, an estimated cost, and that he preferred cash. He came within the time frame he gave me and charged me what he had estimated. He worked quickly and efficiently and got the sinks unclogged in about 20 minutes. I will definitely call him again if I need a plumber. read more

We had a drain backup the day after Christmas with a houseful of relatives and we tried calling at least 6 other companies....... many simply said they don't work nights (even though they advertised 24/7 and it was still afternoon)... others we couldn't even get a response and yet another said we were on their list...... problem was they kept saying it would be less than 2 hours..... almost 4 hours later, they still couldn't give us an arrival time........ Fortunately we found Mark and he said he had to finish up a job but would be out in about an hour....... Mark was true to his word and began working on our clog....... long (and cold) story short, Mark did what it took to ensure our septic drain was working properly before leaving at 11:45PM........ we are very grateful to Mark and highly recommend him........ I called this place on Friday 2/9 @ 7:26 pm because it said 24/7 service. I got an answering machine where the person identified himself as Mark and said to leave a message and they would text or call me right back. It is now Monday 2/12 @ 9:40 am and I have NEVER heard back from this business. read more

Mark absolutely saved me money. Before I called him I had a company come out and tell me I needed a whole new line dug in my yard, cost about $1800.00 in total. Mark came out check out my line and just had to snake it with his tools. His honesty and expertise saved me time, money, and my yard. He also guarantees his work depending on the job and scope for different amounts of time. I would not ever trust a different plumber in COS. He is all about getting the job done that you actually need done and nothing more. I know this guy has a lot of good reviews about his job integrity and they are all true. read more

Avoid. Hired Mark to clear main sewer line. He repeatedly said, "we're going to clear the line to the sewer main, then camera it slowly all the way back so you can see it's clear." 3 visits & $900 later (cash--Mark likes to avoid the IRS), he still didn't do what he said he'd do. 1st visit charged for jetting & camera'ing the line, but said he needed to bring other camera b/c it had stronger line. 2nd visit re-charged for camera'ing line with "stronger" camera but said needed to be snaked. 3rd visit brought 150' snake to clear a root-ball 175' from clean-out. Failed (of course), then tried to tell me the root-ball we were looking at on the camera "wasn't a problem" & "shouldn't be disturbed b/c it would stimulate it to grow." Untrustworthy & unreliable (over an hour late to each apptmt). Recommend you find someone who won't cheat you & the taxman. read more

Please do not go thru what I have experienced. I needed a sewer clean with some roots that needed to be removed. Mark came "late " at night all 3 nights and actually did more damage to my daughters sewer. We had had a company scope it prior to him coming and everything was fine at the main clean out (no broken pipe). He was supposed to get the roots out and after 3 very expensive days of not sure what he was doing outside he also made us help him with the water turn on and off. Then he says he can't clean it all the way and leaves after 3 nights. I should have never paid him. Stupid me paid Cash as he said there was a discount for cash customers but he still has not given me a receipt. Who doesn't give receipts? Ones that are not paying taxes!!! So I had another company, an amazing reputable company come the next day and not only did Mark break my main pipe at the house but a whole new clean out had to come with it. $2400 later!!!! I am so frustrated and annoyed and cannot believe we were taken for almost $800 from him. I asked him nicely to refund me and have all the documentation from the other companies on what had happened while he was there. I wish he would do the right thing and give me my money back as he did more damage and cost me a whole lot more money. He should be accommodating to me and be fair as all he kept telling my son in law is that he has millions and will be retiring soon. Seriously? Strange conversation. I am a very fair human being and cannot believe someone would do this to me. It would be nice for Mark to be fair as well and do what is right on this. read more

WARNING!!! I had a clogged drain and needed assistance so I called Pro Power Rooter and he was over 2 hours late 9p.m /: I told him my drain could have rocks or something in it and that I wanted a camera put down the drain but he instead instead in grinding the shit out of my drain and not getting anywhere and said he would be back tomorrow night @ 7p.m and to my surprise he didn't get to my place till 10:30 p.m WOW.. Again he started grinding the shit out of my drain getting no where. He used a big snake and a air pump that raised my mud pan busting the pipe. then did he insist in using his broken camera that cut in and out. he broke my pipe fixed nothing and walked away with over $350 WOW. He was only happy to be paid for shit work and broken CAMERAS/PIPES but he loved bragging about being the best and how he would fix this problem in no time. He said if I paid cash it is cheaper but he cant give a receipt and if you want a receipt it will cost more. I should not have had to pay $350 for NOTHING! He had to borrow my SHOP VAC, HOUSE TOWELS and my AIR COMPRESSOR to pressurize his hand pump because he was too lazy to hand pump it. CONCLUSION: SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more
