I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lifestyle Floors and Design and their (only…read morehardwood) subcontractor. Despite multiple assurances, the project was plagued with delays, unprofessional behavior, and unfinished work. Issues: Subcontractor was consistently (I should say always) late, missed multiple workdays, and provided numerous excuses and personal errands Work was left incomplete, and the quality of the work done was subpar. Also, attempts to resolve the issues with the co-owners, Laura and Donny Coram (this place switched owners sometime in October of last year), were met with excuses about the business being bankrupt or having no money. They claimed that a $2000 refund for unfinished (they ask you to pay in full) work was nearly impossible. Donny suggested asking to get funds from an insurance claim insurance or shorting employees to recoup the money, showing incredible hesitation to work with me on a simple refund. They insisted on keeping the same individual despite his incompetence while not being able to hire anyone else (or not wanting to). Lifestyle Flooring failed to deliver on their promises, causing financial loss. I strongly advise against using their services due to their poor management and lack of accountability.

We used Interior Exteriors to replace all of the blinds in our house and the entire process from…read morestart to finish took nearly a year. We had an awful experience with both the sales rep, Lorena, and Hunter Douglas, the product we purchased. To share an example of our experience, during the initial install, it was discovered that the blinds for our daughter's room were ordered in the wrong measurement because Lorena entered the measurements wrong. It happens, no big deal! However, when the new blinds arrived (in the correct length), they were broken. They were taken back to Hunter Douglas for repair, but when they came back, they were more broken than they were before! We were told that Hunter Douglas could repair them again, which we didn't deem acceptable at this point and asked for new ones. This was agreed upon by all parties and new ones were ordered. Finally, we received the correct sized blinds that were functioning how they should. But don't worry, the story isn't over yet...A couple of weeks after the install, both blinds started to operate improperly when they would go up and down. We reached out to Lorena, who put in a warranty claim. After waiting weeks and weeks, they finally arrived and guess what? They were the WRONG SIZE again AND broken! It was the same ordeal all over again. We started the process in August/September of 2024 and it took until the end of July 2025 to get the correct (and working) blinds in our daughter's room. This is just ONE of the instances we've experienced through this install process. We've already had to take advantage of the warranty multiple times due to broken blinds or fraying material. Hunter Douglas sent us a card apologizing for the ordeal, which was nice, and offered us free solar chargers, which we didn't need. Four of our windows were measured wrong with the current valences we have, so we asked if they would be willing to offer us new ones to correct the failed installof 4 windows. Hunter Douglas did not deem this an appropriate resolution and instead, offered us 5% off to have our new blinds re-installed correctly. We weren't very happy with this and spoke with Lorena, who gave us the impression that Dan, their measurer/installer, would come fix his work with the valences when he brought out the latest warrantied blinds for install. Turns out, Lorena did not intend for this to be free of charge, either. When Dan came back out, he told us that Lorena said he was to give an estimate for the work to be done and for "you (Dan) to deal with them." Apparently, doing her job as the sales representative only goes so far... Just the other night, the App disconnected us from our "home" because Lorena still hasn't disconnected our home from their install process! This isn't the first time this has happened. When they setup the blinds and connect to the app, they have to transfer ownership over to us...but it seems they have failed to delete our home from their end. It is the most frustrating thing to see Lorena is still the "owner" of our home system... Lorena was kind and seemed understanding but then became very dismissive towards us. Hunter Douglas has been horrible to work with and has no quality control or customer service. We spent a pretty penny on this project and are left at the end of this as very unsatisfied customers. We were planning on having our floors done through Interior Exterior, but will be taking out business elsewhere because of how Lorena handled this situation. We also will never recommend Interior Exterior nor Hunter Douglas to anyone. Never again!!

One of the slabs I was interested in had been moved to the clearance lot and on our way to look at it, another slab caught my eye, one that I hadn't seen before in their main area. Kayla and Erin helped me in sales. I didn't feel any pressure and they were very informative and honest about the stones I looked at. They really listened to what I was looking for (tbh I had no idea) and then didn't make me feel cheap for selecting the clearance stone. I never felt rushed or like I was a big pain despite making THREE visits before making a final decision. I ended up with a leathered bianco romano granite that is absolutely stunning. I didn't do the template and the way my kitchen was designed was exceptional. Tyler did a fantastic job! Installation was GREAT. Tony and Rob were incredible. Very friendly and very hard workers. Felt totally comfortable having them in my house. The seams are almost invisible. I really have to hunt for them and can find them only because I i know where they are. I couldn't be happier!

My wife an I went to the business and asked to see some granite options. We basically new the color and pattern we were looking for. They assigned us Shauna Sauer. She was pretty attentive to our needs, took notes and sent on our way with a couple of samples. We went back the following Saturday to look at the whole slabs again and maybe some other choices. We never seen Shauna again. This time they assigned us Reese Hunt. He was equally attentive and helpful that day. With both Shauna and Reese my wife and I repeated that we both wanted to be involved in picking out the slabs, so we could be comfortable with the colors and grains.So far so good. This is where things go south. I called Reese the following Monday to get things moving because we made our selection. He didn't call me back until Tuesday afternoon. I was out but called him as soon as seen the message. Once again crickets. Then on Wednesday afternoon I called and asked to speak to the manager, sales manager, someone... The receptionist said she gave a message to the sales manager. Bingo, within minutes Reese called me back. I told our selection and I'd like to get a template done, he said they would be in touch. Once again crickets. A few days later I get an appointed with the guy doing the template. Very professional, very courteous and completed the template quickly with was nice as I was having new flooring put in. He said they'd be in touch the schedule the install. A few days pass and I get a call that the Install can be don the following week and we could come in the store in 2 days to work on the template layout on the slabs. We come in on that Thursday, stand around for 20 minutes until the layout guy, I can't remember his name comes an gets us. We go to his computer and he starts lining up the virtual templates on 2 pictures of slabs loading in his software. We stopped him and said we're not to this point yet as we haven't even picked out the slabs yet. He said, sure you did and here's the pictures. We both said I don't who picked those but they were not us. He got a little irritated, and went to get Reece. Reece knew we were waiting at this guys desk, but proceeded to complete a 20-25 minute phone call. When he came over and we explained the issue, he go combative and insisted that all the slabs were the same. I said I didn't care because we repeatedly indicated WE wanted to pick the slabs not have them picked for us. He then calmed down and said he misunderstood us. Misunderstood this statement "My wife and I want to come in and pick the slabs ourself" It was spoken in English. Any we decided to see what the layout guy could do. Troy's crew were coordinated and remained "on time" throughout the project (don't underestimate the importance of this). As with any remodeling project, it's the details that make the difference. Troy has worked in all aspects of home building and even had his own cabinet shop at one point. Having someone that has finish carpentry experience is invaluable; those folks have a higher standard.
