I had an original contract. 2. The first contract had to be dropped due to items outside of Cal-Solar's control. (Fair enough). 3. Cal-Solar provided an update battery contract to an installation (solar installation) they sourced, they designed, they permitted, they installed, and they completed. 4. Cal-Solar wanted a change order on a system that had no changes and yet Cal-Solar claims the installed system had unknown items. (Keep in mind they did all the work...ALL of it.) 5. Cal-Solar waited till the last moment to notify of the changes which pushed against a tax-credit deadline. (From my chair seemed to be the goal.) 6. Cal-Solar provide large price increases to perform the work or quit...from 3.5k (to lose half the battery charging ability) or charge another 9k to add another battery. (Tesla charge half for a second battery, btw.) I'm not saying this will happen to you. I'm just saying what happened to me. As to the contract you sign: From my chair the company uses it for your compliance not theirs.
