Fronimo's Downtown - Great food. And great service - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Canton, Ohio

Carefully crafted cocktails and menu items! Very impressive and delicious! We tried the cauliflower and shrimp and grits appetizers which were both very good. The scallops special was very well cooked and excellently executed. Will definitely be back - read more

Fun place downtown Canton. Good food, nice atmosphere! Service is excellent! Nice place to hang out and watch game, or have nice dinner with friends. Prices are good for the quality of food! read more

Nice, small location in downtown Canton. I ordered their hamburger med-well and it came out well done so that was disappointing but still tasted good. Added onions and pancetta to it so total for burger and fries was $17 which was a bit steep. Fries were great! Had their Carmella martini which was super delicious. Price wasn't listed on menu. Got bill and they were $11/each which I thought was high considering they came in a smaller sized martini glass (would be better priced around $9). My friends got the strip steak and Mediterranean chicken and they enjoyed both. read more

Fantastic! Met Star, owner/ operator. Great food, beer and wine list! Will be back!! House salad with grilled hot peppers, sliders and fries! read more

High class establishment. The food is AMAZING. This place is beautiful. The owner is funny and a joy to be around. I find myself just looking at the beautiful ceiling tiles. The bathrooms are spotless and very nice. This is a treasure to have in the City of Canton. This establishment would do very well in Seattle where I live. Next time I'm back, I'll be there. Try the steak! Or the lettuce wraps! read more

Atmosphere is great. Drinks were good. Staff was friendly. Food was mediocre. My pork chop had a sauce on it that was too salty. The meat itself had little flavor. read more

Phenomenal food, phenomenal service. Christina is warm, fun, and so wonderful. We did a few small plates. Tempura cauliflower, gnocchi gratin, the house salad, and the Mediterranean chicken. Every single thing is fantastic. For real. Great place to just hang out. So comfortable. Great drinks, and cool atmosphere. Get hip to the truffle fries Fronimos.... then this would be just like the high end restaurants in LA. In downtown canton. Yes! Slay Queens! read more

What a great place! From the excellent service we received, to the impeccable food they served this was a great evening all the way around! The drinks were on par on the service was spot on and the food over the top. I would recommend this place to anyone! Excellent all around!! read more

Where do I even begin??? Just go there. It's amazing!! Super friendly staff and customers. Food is outstanding!!!

I think we are now done with downtown Canton. We took our son and daughter-in-law to Fronimo's last night, our first time there. Three Chicken Picatta and a chicken sandwich. The Picatta had an OK serving of pasta (swimming in butter, unfortunately) and a medium chicken breast. The sandwich came with a side of fries. One Lucky Island ($5), one Guiness ($4) and one coke ($2). Made the mistake of not asking how much the Picatta, from the "specials", was. $23??? Total for the table... $97.40. As the wait staff as pretty incredible, after tip $120.00. This much, to get a meal we make better at home on a regular basis and don't have to deal with the incredible cacophony of this small space. The only way I can describe this kind of pricing, which has become commonplace in the Canton "Arts District", is presumptuous. We have written off the entire Canton downtown at this point. Summary: Food, fair. Staff, great. Pricing, a deal killer. read more

Best restaurant that Canton has to offer. Super hip and retro chic waitress's that know how to treat their clients. Top notch In love 1st Class. Don't ever change. read more

Amazing staff, amazing menu, all fresh food, nothing frozen or microwaved. Everyone is so friendly and happy. Great atmosphere, way to go Star, you have accomplished what most new restaurants are unable to do. You didn't just hit a homer... You knocked it out of the park!!My new favorite place!!! I wont be happy till i have tried the entire menu. read more

Awesome food! Chicken sandwich with egg was delicious. Saddened they didn't have dill pickles or the Scientist drink.

A lot of potential for a canton bar. Decor is nice and clean, service was great. They should work on developing a signature drink menu to make them stand-out more among the less than average competitors in the area. Biggest con was the music volume. Way too loud for a restaurant/bar. read more

Highly attentive staff and awesome food with fresh ingredients and a nice ethnic flair. My wife and I eat hear every couple of weeks and always have a great meal read more

Creative, fun eatery with great prices, elegant plating, and speedy service right in the heart of the Canton Music Block.

Lovely decor and food is good. Service is friendly but slow. Took 20 minutes to get my drink. Our burgers took quite a while but were very tasty. The seating is rather limited and they can't accommodate larger groups. read more

OMG, we will be back! Took 2 other couples with us, ordered 3 appetizers to share which were all delish, as well as our food was wonderful! Even the bathrooms were nice and clean, and loved the touch of fresh flowers! Super cute decor. Good Job! read more

Everything perfect every time in a beautiful space! The owner, Star, has been taking care of us at our other favorite spots for years, and now has brought this experience to her own place. Fresh plates made with the best ingredients around! read more

Charming smaller venue for dinner and cocktails. Delicious food, both the menu and the rotating Chef features. Also perfect for a small plate and a glass of wine at the Bar, before going off to an event. I have followed the owner for years, as she went from Canton's favorite bartender to restaurant owner. read more

1st visit this past Saturday night, could not get into Canton Brewery so I called Fronimo's at 6 pm, very pleasant server named Susan told me booked till 7 pm, I whined a little that the 4 of us had theater tx at 8 pm, she asked how soon we could get there and I said within 5 mins, she had one table open up! Got there and place was packed but she saved one high top table for the 4 of us! Staff was very attentive and good service for how busy they were! Food was excellent We shared a mussel appetizer that were some of the best mussels sauce and a garlic bread that ive ever had! 2 of us had the fresh fish special that night which was halibut with a acorn squash risotto, outstanding! My wife had a beet salad and gnocchi which both were excellent too! Nice selection of craft beers and wine by the glass or bottle. The red blend by the glass was an exceptional value! Desserts were fantastic too, most come from a gourmet bakery in Green. Nice linen napkins, great presentation of food, nice red wine glass bowls! This place pays attention to details can't wait to go back again! My only negative which was not that big of deal is the place is rather small and can get quite loud if crowded and I noticed the servers had a sometimes difficult time maneuvering around the tables and delivering food down the main aisle! read more

Great meatballs! Food was very good. Craft beer selection was average. Atmosphere became very loud and active - it is a bar. Dinner for two of us after tip hit $100; too expensive for a weeknight. Fun place to drink and enjoy an appetizer, but bring your cash if you want dinner. read more

Fabulous downtown restaurant! We have tried several items on the menu including the meatballs, open face lamb burgers and risotto and everything comes out perfectly! We love this place as it has a great vibe and everyone is so friendly. Would highly ecommend! read more

Voted best new restaurant in Stark County for a reason. Fresh, flavorful food. There's no freezer or microwave here! Daily specials are always changing to bring you something new and exciting. Wine licence has arrived now, as well. 12 craft beer selections on draft. Moscow Mules are a yummy signature drink. Servers are friendly and attentive. Great decor, atmosphere, and vibe. Clean restrooms. Good music. read more
