We found some great vynal records for only a $1 a piece. They have tons of "booths" sectioned off from different sellers just piled with little treasures and even have an upstairs. I would highly recommend coming through here if you appreciate antique and repurposed items. Need a new oar for your canoe or kayak? They have some made from repurposed wood. They've definitely got me hooked with their repurposed items and I need to come back when I have some money saved up. Can't wait until that day comes.

I don't think I've ever been in a store that offered complimentary treats! She asked if we were looking for anything specific and offered any assistance. She then made her rounds in the store offering more treats to everyone. That was my first impression of this place and I was WOWED! We started to shop and this place has EVERYTHING! They have new and old items so if you're looking for a great baby gift or fun and handmade gift for a friend this place is where you should shop. This is in the same place where the Kalamazoo Farmers Market is. It was HOT when we went (about 90 degrees out) but the market has some nice shaded areas. There were a lot of vendors selling true vintage things (clothing, typewriters, records, etc.) and a few selling homemade things. I ended up buying a small Alice in Wonderland purse (clutch-sized) for $12 which I really liked. There were also a few food vendors on site - that day (8/5/18) there was Nonla Burger, plus a kebob stand and one other small food truck. We also had ice cream from Red Trike Ice Cream and that was super tasty. 4 stars instead of 5 from me because the bathroom situation could be better (they have Womens and Mens bathrooms by the "Office" area, which is in the middle of the market) ... apparently during the Farmers Market they have more of an indoor bathroom area though. Regardless of the weather, this was a fun time and I'd go back again when in the area.

I came in around 3 PM and wasn't greeted, which isn't a big deal, just unusual compared to my past visits. At 3:59 PM, a staff member approached me and said "we would like to close, it's 4 PM." The doors were already locked and the open sign had been turned off. I apologized, as I had mistakenly checked the hours for a different thrift store--completely my fault. That said, the interaction felt a bit abrupt and not very welcoming. I've always appreciated the environment here, and that's a big reason I shop here regularly. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression. With so many thrift stores around, customer experience really makes a difference and today felt very unwelcoming. Would like to note, I've been there around closing before and usually they make an announcement and are super friendly, today that was not the case.

The store is…read moreset up so antiques are interspersed with newer items which really give us a great idea on how to use the furniture and decor in our home and cottage. We also use items in decorating homes we stage. We love how the majority of the store is step in vignette style settings instead of the standard maze of small square booths. It really gives us some great ideas on how to use the items we find in stylish new ways. Things we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. We visit about once a month and are always amazed that we always find new and exciting things to buy. This is not your standard antique mall with the same items in the same booths year after year. It is also very clean and does not have the stale antique smell like so many antique stores. Prices are also lower than the we find in larger cities (GR) which also does not hurt. In regard to the friendliness of the owners and clerks, we cannot disagree more with the earlier post. The owners and clerks are always very helpful and courteous. I have never entered without being greeted and the owners are often walking the floor asking if you need any help. And as we have been there many times, I think we can say that is the norm unlike the earlier review. I find myself always recommending this mall to all my friends which is probably the best rating I can give it, and highly recommend a visit if you are looking for that special something for your home.

The store may be small but the selection is good. I almost always find what I'm looking for. They are in my top three thrift stores in the Kalamazoo area. Such a great cause also.
