This is definitely our go-to local store for chicken feed, vet visits, and dog supplies. It's definitely a no frills experience, with barn ambiance and hay in the air, but you can't beat the hands on help of them loading the feed into your vehicle in their loading zone and you just driving away. The shot vet visits make it super easy to drive over after reserving a slot for our dogs and not having to deal with lines and pet drama while making sure our dogs stay current on their vaccines. I love that they sell chicks and pullets basically all the time, and their selection seems like it's always pretty good on variety and health of their animals. When I have the opportunity to do local business over some big chain, I always try to opt for it, and frizelle enos is one I gladly choose over the chain competition. read more

I am the barn manager for a small ranch in Sebastopol and we have been getting our hay, stall shavings and grain from Frizelle Enos for somewhere around a year. The quality of alfalfa has never been very good, however the last 3 out of 4 months it has been terrible! The bales are so old and sun bleached they look like straw until you look closely. Granted, when you pull a handful you will find a lot of alfalfa leaves, however, they are completely void of any moisture and turn to dust when you pinch them between your fingers. The stems are lignified and terribly hard and brittle. On top of having a poor quality hay, the woman who works the front desk is unbelievably rude and condescending. I try to give the benefit of the doubt to people. I don't need everyone to have a Pollyanna attitude in order for me to be satisfied with the level of service I receive. I also don't think it's appropriate to make customers feel like a bother or uncomfortable asking questions. After inspecting their hay last week before our scheduled delivery, I cancelled the upcoming order and will never give them our business again! read more

Good crew, friendly, helpful, respectful and knowledgeable about the store's products. They often make good suggestions about what feed to try. Of course, I'd like for them to be open seven days a week, but that would be unreasonable. It's worth the wait to check in with the employees. read more

Really disappointed! Instead of going to my usual pet store for dog food, which is across town, I was being lazy and came here (they are just around the corner from my house). The thick layer of dust should have been a sign but my dogs are out of food, it's hot and I'm tired! Once I get home I start wondering how long was the food on the shelf. It expired 12/23/18! While I'm not worried about the food being bad it does say A LOT about their business practices. read more

I live in Sacramento... Went to this feed store today (6/20/2020) while visiting my mom in Rohnert Park and bought a Bordetella vaccine ($9) and bag of dog food ($45) and came home. Just took everything out and BOTH items are expired! The vaccine Exp. Feb 2020 and the dog food Exp March 2020. Unbelievable! The staff was friendly (three younger guys) but Jesus... check your stock and exp you guys. I live 2 hours away and have all expired items. read more

When I wandered into this store in search of dog food I wasn't sure what I'd find. SURPRISE! This location has a huge selection of quality pet supplies/food/toys. They carry some of the top dog food brands - even the one I buy, which is hard to find. What's even better - their prices are extremely reasonable. Unlike other pet food stores, they didn't offer me a special "discount" card, which usually means the prices are overly-inflated. The store is extremely clean, bright, and airy - with none of the yucky smells some other stores have. From now on, this is where I'll shop for my dog's needs. read more

Very nice people working here, prices for baby chicks can't be beat at 3.99$ a chick. Compared to Rivertown which is 5.99$ a chick or on Craigslist for 10-20$ a chick. Carry a large selection of anything u want for all kinds of pets. Highly recommend this local and friendly feed store. read more

I had such a great shopping experience at Frizelle Enos in Penngrove. We just got a new puppy and we needed supplies from sawdust to toys. I believe the guy who helped me was named Kevin. He had outstanding customer service, showed a genuine interest in our puppy, and guided us to some suggested products. It's so nice to have a place to go that is in town, had a great selection, and excellent service to boot. :-) read more
